I booked everything online from my phone very easily; the intake form for the facial asks a series of questions regarding your skin goals, products you currently use, allergies, and beyond. The massage form is similar and asks for your preferred pressure and goals for the massage. I really appreciate this step and feel like it's a great way to start the discourse between you and the Bella team before you even meet them. Because I purchased a bundle, it ended up looking like I was going to have the facial and massage done at the same time lol, which isn't possible. Jaclyn texted me very soon after the appointment was booked to clarify and she helped me set everything straight right away. When the time came for my appointment, I found the business nestled in a nondescript office park that has a huge shared lot for parking. Initially, I drove right past their building but once I got my bearings it was very easy to find. Right when I walked in, I felt very welcome! Both Jaclyn and Kelly greeted me right away with huge smiles and Jaclyn took me back into a room to prep for the facial right away. The decor is unbelievably cute and the whole aesthetic is very calming and inviting. I got changed for the facial quickly and was off to the races. Jaclyn is extremely sweet and very friendly; she asked a few questions to clarify what my goals were and provided input on the skincare routine I've just started going recently. She recommended a couple of treatments for down the line, and walked me through exactly what she was doing during the facial and how it worked. We had a couple of laughs and I was surprised that I didn't fall asleep lol. This was the second professional facial I've ever had and it was by far the best to date. Jaclyn also offered to text with me if I needed any advice or if I had any questions about products, etc.! How friggin sweet is that? Following the facial, Kelly walked me upstairs to a second room for the massage. I again got changed and settled, and she got straight to it! She asked if I had any problem areas she should focus on, and assured me that the process kept everything decent and that if I had any concerns or was uncomfortable at any point to let her know. This will have been the first professional massage I've ever gotten, and I'm glad that it was with Kelly! She checked in with me a few times throughout to make sure that I was comfortable, and paid special attention to a couple of stubborn knots I feel like I have had for years. I've always been a fan of firmer pressure, and this was perfect. The time felt like it flew by and I was glad that my drive home at the end wouldn't be long. It was extremely relaxing and I didn't realize how much I'd needed it. It was very apparent to me that both of these ladies love what they do, and they're both exceptionally talented at their craft. I ended up leaving after it had gotten dark (the joys of winter), and did not feel rushed or stressed when I was checking out. I absolutely loved my experience and will be looking forward to the next time I get to treat myself to a self care day!!

Booking was easy and I opted to purchase some add ons for our anniversary. The staff were super friendly and walked us through what to expect from our experience. They provide insulated cups for the beer so it stays nice and cold! The room was equipped with a shower, sauna, and hot tub. The staff suggested a particular order of use and I'm glad we followed their advice as it felt like we had the perfect amount of time in each area of the room! We had so much fun that my husband gifted me another Oakwell experience as a Christmas present. We recently moved to the suburbs so we will be trying the suburban location next. We can't wait!

As, I walked up to the salon and grabbed the door handle to walk in and pulled, I found the door to be locked. I was met by a man on the phone who did not unlock the door but waved me on like I shouldn't be there. Confused, I tried to let him know I scheduled services for haircut, color, facial, and massage. He paused his phone call to rudely tell me to wait in my car until the person doing my massage arrived. When the person arrived, she came stumbling in like she had just came from a long night of drinking and drugs, and carrying her own old massage sheets and blankets from home. I should have left but didn't want to be rude and thought I'd at least give the place a chance since I was due for all of the services I was scheduled for. Plus, there were some "good reviews" of the place. Although, now I'm thinking they must have all been left by family or friends. The person handing my massage did do an ok job on the massage part, even though her voice sounded like Marge Simpson's sisters from obvious years of smoking and drugs. I was taken back to a small back storage room, like the ones where they murder people in movies. The person had to turn up the heat to warm the place up and move things to fumble repeatedly over the massage table to get it set up. While naked, laying face down on the massage table, covered by nothing but a white sheet, the door to the room was opened twice by staff and the person had to stop to carry on conversations. After she finished, the person to service my facial came in. Oddly, SAME ANNOYING VOICE!! Again, the actual facial was not horrible but the door to the room was again opened by staff while still naked, laying on the massage table under nothing but a sheet. At this point, I kept telling myself to leave, but for whatever reason decided to stay and get my much needed hair colored and cut. The hair service was done by the same person who handled my facial. My hair was destroyed!! The color was nothing that I asked for and my long beautiful hair was chopped short. Then, when it came time to pay, each service person asked for Venmo, as if I had just purchased drugs or services that shouldn't be documented. I will never return and hope they go out of business before they torture anyone else or make them feel as unsafe and unwelcome as I did. Hope my money went to keep y'all off the streets!
