It started out well, I explained what I wanted and showed photos. She was kind, had lots to tell me about her life story, kids, in-laws and whatever else came to mind. The treatment for the hair consult as well as anything to do with touching my hair was where it got rough. She pulled my hair, whapped my in the head with brushes, the hair dryer and curling iron. The shampoo process was so painful with all the hair pulling and her whacking my head. My neck was sore for 2 days after the appointment from where she dug her fingers into me. She started cussing while telling me her stories. It was really kinda frightening and the first time I ever thought about ending a hair appointment early and walking out. When all was said and done, the bronde balyage we agreed on was mostly brown with red highlights. I wanted to cry. That is 2 hours and change and over $300 that I'll never get back.

Tanya was able to see the new growth and help plan a cut to help hide and assist those baby hairs to blend in. She has an awesome ability to know what cuts look good based on your face shape. She asked so many questions about what I wanted and we looked at pictures online together to make sure she had a clear understanding of my expectations.
