No one called to confirm my appointment, either. *To be fair* Prior to this, they called me back when I left messages. Fearing I would be charged for my appointment if I didn't show, I had to take some drastic measures to get there. Then, I couldn't easily find the building or the suite inside the building. I was feeling pretty irritated all around. Then, I couldn't pull up my groupon on my phone...it was a disastrous morning. The good: My massage was 1.5 hours and although I ended up being a few minutes late, she gave me the full time (probably in part because of the aforementioned "bad"). She was a great masseuse, firm and relaxing. I got into the perfect massage trance and totally relaxed. When I didn't have any cash for a tip (I had just switched purses, ugh!), they let me put it on a credit card, which helped stop relapsing into the morning's stress.

They should use Schedulicity or one of those services. Based on the awkward phone conversations I had some concern, but it was unwarranted. The experience was very good. Despite some other reviews, I had no problem finding the place. I followed their directions and Google Maps worked just fine. If I could give 3 1/2 stars I would. I was referred to Dr. Zhu by my trusted primary care physician, but my experience at this office…read morewas nothing short of awful. The level of care was appalling, and I am still deeply upset by what I went through. To start, I was one of the first patients of the day, and the waiting area was empty. Yet, when I was finally called back, the staff member called out the wrong name--twice--while looking directly at me with an annoyed expression. It was an unprofessional and uncomfortable start to the visit. Once I was in the exam room, I was handed the smallest gown imaginable, leaving me barely covered and extremely uncomfortable. When Dr. Zhu entered, she was alone and immediately launched into nonstop personal questions while rolling me around for the initial check-up. I barely had a chance to speak, and the entire exam felt rushed and dismissive. Then, the worst part--while I was turned on my side, exposed, the door suddenly opened without a knock or warning, and the same staff member who had checked me in walked right in. She stood there as if this was completely normal, neither acknowledging the intrusion nor apologizing for not giving me any notice. I was mortified. There was zero regard for my privacy or comfort. The experience continued to decline when it came to my test results. Over a week later, I received an automated email from LabCorp late on a Friday night, stating that my results were in. When Monday came, I waited all day for a call from the doctor--nothing. I finally left a message around 1 PM, and by 4 PM, with still no response, I called again. This time, a random male staff member gave me my biopsy results over the phone. Midway through telling me that one of the biopsy sites was pre-cancerous melanoma, he put me on hold--only to come back and casually inform me that I needed to come back in two months for a follow-up. To this day, I never received a follow-up call from Dr. Zhu herself. No explanation, no reassurance--nothing. And to top it off, I am now stuck paying an outrageous bill for the subpar, careless treatment I received. Her prices are overinflated for the lack of professionalism and quality of care provided. I have never felt so violated, disregarded, and uncomfortable in a medical setting. This experience was not only unprofessional but completely unacceptable. I will never return to this office and will continue sharing my experience to warn others. If this review can prevent even one person from enduring what I did, then it was worth writing.

I booked everything online from my phone very easily; the intake form for the facial asks a series of questions regarding your skin goals, products you currently use, allergies, and beyond. The massage form is similar and asks for your preferred pressure and goals for the massage. I really appreciate this step and feel like it's a great way to start the discourse between you and the Bella team before you even meet them. Because I purchased a bundle, it ended up looking like I was going to have the facial and massage done at the same time lol, which isn't possible. Jaclyn texted me very soon after the appointment was booked to clarify and she helped me set everything straight right away. When the time came for my appointment, I found the business nestled in a nondescript office park that has a huge shared lot for parking. Initially, I drove right past their building but once I got my bearings it was very easy to find. Right when I walked in, I felt very welcome! Both Jaclyn and Kelly greeted me right away with huge smiles and Jaclyn took me back into a room to prep for the facial right away. The decor is unbelievably cute and the whole aesthetic is very calming and inviting. I got changed for the facial quickly and was off to the races. Jaclyn is extremely sweet and very friendly; she asked a few questions to clarify what my goals were and provided input on the skincare routine I've just started going recently. She recommended a couple of treatments for down the line, and walked me through exactly what she was doing during the facial and how it worked. We had a couple of laughs and I was surprised that I didn't fall asleep lol. This was the second professional facial I've ever had and it was by far the best to date. Jaclyn also offered to text with me if I needed any advice or if I had any questions about products, etc.! How friggin sweet is that? Following the facial, Kelly walked me upstairs to a second room for the massage. I again got changed and settled, and she got straight to it! She asked if I had any problem areas she should focus on, and assured me that the process kept everything decent and that if I had any concerns or was uncomfortable at any point to let her know. This will have been the first professional massage I've ever gotten, and I'm glad that it was with Kelly! She checked in with me a few times throughout to make sure that I was comfortable, and paid special attention to a couple of stubborn knots I feel like I have had for years. I've always been a fan of firmer pressure, and this was perfect. The time felt like it flew by and I was glad that my drive home at the end wouldn't be long. It was extremely relaxing and I didn't realize how much I'd needed it. It was very apparent to me that both of these ladies love what they do, and they're both exceptionally talented at their craft. I ended up leaving after it had gotten dark (the joys of winter), and did not feel rushed or stressed when I was checking out. I absolutely loved my experience and will be looking forward to the next time I get to treat myself to a self care day!!

Since working with Sarah - I am AMAZED at how my skin is doing. One time I felt what would have been a cystic outbreak forming under my skin but because of working with Sarah within ONE SINGLE day it came to a white head and I was able to use a pimple patch along with the wonderful products I'd been getting from Sarah. Fast Forward a few months - now if I do get a small breakout - it is not painfully cystic like it was in the past. It's gotten remarkably better - This month I just needed a simple extraction , which she was both gentle but effective with.
