My brother drove into town after a hard week's work I had never done anything like this before but I have seen this place driving by so I thought I would go in and get him a massage for a surprise, for $70 I was able to get him a hour massage the place was very clean relaxing and soothing. He enjoyed it very much and would highly recommend it to anybody else thank you elements. read more

Omg! I just left after an hour with Ashley. She was awesome. Everyone was Super professional and accommodating. If you want deep tissue Ashley is the way to go. read more

To preface, I do not write reviews (pretty sure this is my first Yelp one) but this establishment really made so angry and I wanted to warn any future customers. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR A MEMBERSHIP!!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT SIGN UP FOR A MEMBERSHIP!!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT SIGN UP FOR A MEMBERSHIP!!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT SIGN UP FOR A MEMBERSHIP!!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT SIGN UP FOR A MEMBERSHIP!!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT SIGN UP FOR A MEMBERSHIP!!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT SIGN UP FOR A MEMBERSHIP!!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT SIGN UP FOR A MEMBERSHIP!!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT SIGN UP FOR A MEMBERSHIP!!!!!!!!!!! I know you will "save money" if you are a regular, but it's just not worth it if you ever want to cancel. I cancelled my membership last month and they will not leave me alone. This is AFTER spending THREE DAYS attempting to cancel, which required TWO in person visits to the physical store location and about half a dozen phone calls (apparently they never have a manager available unless they want to harass you or its convenient for them). The first physical visit to Elements was a Friday morning and I was "assured" by the front desk that a manager would call me THAT DAY. It didn't happen until MONDAY. I kept calling over the weekend--since they are open and one would assume that SOME sort of management is available during business hours--this is a false assumption. Only by calling and demanding someone get back to me did I get ahold of someone. This still didn't solve my problem, because I came in over a month ago to cancel and I have spent the last week trying to tell these people that I am NO LONGER a client. The management has been harassing me for payment despite offering proof of the cancellation. If you cancel, KEEP YOUR PAPERWORK BECAUSE THEY WILL CLAIM TO HAVE LOST IT (or they think I'm lying, which is fine since I have my paperwork signed by their employee Kayla). I kept mine, THANK GOD. I receive phone calls and emails daily because the management is unorganized, or worse, inept. This review has NOTHING to do with the massage therapists, but I would warn ANYONE considering signing up for a membership to stop and reconsider unless they are willing to be locked in for life (and probably for the lives of any living offspring). RUN FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! read more

Rae Lynn is absolutely amazing! I highly recommend her. I went in for a pinch in my back and left feeling relaxed and comfortable! I have had several massages over the years and she is by far the best therapist. read more

I've been coming to this location for 4 years and overall have had positive experiences. A couple not so great massage therapists but usually can get a decent massage. Not usually worth $100 but I've always appreciated the ability to schedule an appointment within just a few days rather than waiting a couple weeks to get into other places in the area. Unfortunately I think they've changed their business model. I scheduled a 60 minute appointment online and was called twice in 24 hours asking to change to a 90 minute appointment or reschedule. Something my budget and schedule could not accommodate. When I declined the upgrade the woman was so rude and gave me the option of canceling or rescheduling. If the block of time was for a 90 min appointment they should not have it available online as a 60 minute appointment. Also being called more than once in such a short time frame was incredibly unprofessional. I'm used to the hard press to commit to a membership but this was a whole new level of sales pressure. I guess I'm going to have to find a new massage studio. read more

Anthony is so talented! They got me right in for a massage and he definitely was super attentive about issues - etc! Checking in to see about pressure... relaxing as could be! Going back again today! Love the location as well- next to Whole Foods! read more

Mrs. Pamela is by far the best massage therapist I've ever had! She was my therapist before I moved away from Arizona in 2012. I moved back this year and went on a serious hunt hoping to find her and I did! She always customize my massage specifically for my needs. I have chronic back pain do to scoliosis and I've been through therapist in Arizona, Illinois and Texas and no one compares to her! By far the best! read more

Still a five star!!! Kasey is a fantastic massage therapist!! The front desk employees are also very nice and the atmosphere is conducive to a relaxing enjoyable time well spent. I will be back when I can and I highly recommend this place. read more

Mediocre massages, Stepford Wives receptionists. I received a gift card as a present for three massages. It took me eight months to use them although I get a massage typically about every two weeks. Luckily for me and everyone else there are far better places in this town to go to. The massages are, like I said, mediocre but the real disappointment of the experience is the hard sell and unprofessional behavior from the receptionists. Each time I went it was as if I was being sold a time share. I was asked to provide feedback on my last experience from the business and gave them a longer version of this review a few weeks ago to which I have never received a response. Please avoid this egregious place and get a quality massage without frustrating customer service interactions somewhere else. Caily W, while I appreciate a response, which was more than I ever received from my feedback solicited by Elements, again this business has missed the mark. In regards to you not showing me on file, well I'm sure you, like everyone else living in the year 2016, realize that people use aliases for things like Yelp, twitter, etc. If the business was truly interested in righting a wrong, you would have responded to my feedback email which again was sent by the Tempe Elements location and had all my real information on it. My gift card was purchased in late April from Elements at the Tempe location. I'm not sure how anything I wrote and the timeline would lead you to believe this was not the correct location and just furthers my point that the customer service is horrible. Failure to take ownership for a situation and try to allege I got the location wrong is just a sad reflection on you and your business. read more

Great Groupon deal going on. I get massages pretty often (like once a month) and Ashley gave one of the best massages I've gotten in a while... she did a super job giving me a firm massage with trigger point therapy. The receptionists were really pleasant and helpful too. Overall, definitely recommend to anyone. read more

Horrible online appointment system - called me an hour ahead of my appointment to let me know the massage therapist was unable to work long enough today for medical reasons so they cancelled my massage and would call back to reschedule. THEY THEN CHARGED ME A CANCELLATION FEE. Prior experience would echo what others say, awkward pressure to buy a membership, okay but overpriced massages. There must be a reason they are the cheapest massage on Groupon. read more

Awful service, constant rescheduling just to try and steal their $45 cancellation fee out of you! The "general manager" doesn't return calls or emails. to quote another here: If my money is not refunded and the account canceled, I will have to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. read more

I was in town for a few baseball games and on a rainy Monday afternoon with nothing to do I found Elements Massage on Yelp... needless to say I'm thankful! Pamela, you are truly one of the best therapist I have experienced in a very long time! Friendly, convenient, and accepts walk-ins. read more

I have been to this place about 4 time and the first three times my husband and I mostly enjoyed the message. The last time we went for the message we made a mistake by picking the last appointment of the day. Originally I would have rated this place with a 4 star but I have to take away a start for the last visit. My husband and I both had the same experience as to where our massages felt shorter. For my 6PM appointment the person messaging me only came out at about 6:07 to get me and the my message ended at about 6:48PM. It seemed like picking the last appointment of the day everyone was rushing to leave. There was other differences in the massage style that particular day but I will spare the details. I would recommend this place but I would suggest don't pick the last appointment of the day. read more

My hubby booked me a 90 minute massage here after a stressful day. And oh my goodness. Pamela was amazing. She was kind, calming, nurturing, knowledgable. I couldn't have asked for a better massage therapist. This massage completely turned my day around and I am so thankful. I would recommend a massage from Pamela to anyone that I know a million times over. read more

Extremely kind girl at the front desk, she was so approachable and friendly it felt like I knew her already. The guy that did my massage was so nice too. I had never had a massage by a guy so I was a bit nervous beforehand but he was so professional and nice that I lost the nervousness within a minute or two. He was generally concerned about the status of my back and shoulders and gave some good advice. Throughly enjoyed my experience-and felt so good afterwards! read more

I have been to many massage places but this one tops them all! The front desk staff is super friendly and I feel like I won the massage lottery by getting Allen. I had pain up and down my back and neck, created from sitting all day behind a computer and possibly a bad mattress. I explained to Allen the pain I had and I was impressed to hear he had a medical and therapeutic license. It turned out to be the best massage I have ever gotten! All my pain was gone and I felt so relaxed, he was able to reset my hips get all the lumps out of my muscles I had to go back the following week just to make sure that this wasn't too good to be true. He applies the perfect pressure and puts 100% into every massage. It's been a few months now and I go once a month and have zero pain. Thank You, Allen! read more

Very nice personable therapist that ask what I needed, worked those areas and then made recommendations for me to do on my own. I was given a gift certificate for this place and wasn't sure what to really expect. I was really impressed. Great message, nice people. And when I was done, offers were presented but no hard sell tactics. read more

I had Jesse, she was great! Did an awesome job & really listened to everything i was needing. 5 stars! I will visit her again

Andrew did a great job with my massage--no complaints there. However, I had purchased an intro 1 hour special online for $79, with service fee totaling $82. Fine. I figured after tip it would be around $100. But when I went to leave, they said I owed $50 more dollars because I didn't qualify for the intro special because I had been there once in 2016. So my $82 massage that was already a "splurge" for me, after the other $50 and tip cost me over $150 for a 50 minute massage. That's ridiculous. There was no attempt at customer service or trying to uphold the online special I had purchased, despite my complaints of false advertising. She was very unapologetic and just said it was the policy since I had been there before--over 5 years ago, which I don't even remember. I had to pay the balance, but informed them I would not be back. Basically, all the relaxation I experienced during my massage was out the window after having to pay an additional $50 unexpectedly and having such rude service at the desk. So beware of such scams. read more

After my first massage in July, I had to sign up for their membership program. I have never experienced a massage like the ones I have received from here. I questioned my ability to drive after both massages because they were that good. read more

Great massage and walk ins are welcome which I loved. Will be going back. Tranquil facility and accommodating staff!

What do I like about this Elements Massage location? The massage therapist all have different styles, and I have my favorite,I'll call her "K", but have seen some of the others. There isn't a bad feeling about having to see another therapist when your favorite is booked or out of the office. They are professional, a know ethical behavior in this business. The rooms are clean, smell great, and have a modern look. The front desk greets you when you enter their office, don't worry, they won't ignore you here. Subtle touches like lemon water and chocolsyes, yes chocolates are there for your pleasure. Iif there is,a billing problem or anything that you bring to their attention, it will be takwn care of. I've been going here for over a year and will continue to be a member. read more

Extremely high turnover of employees. If you like you massage therapist, get their number as they'll be gone by your next appointment!

Horrible, incompetent and rude front desk person (Kaleigh). Here's a tip about customer service - if you are rude, can't answer simple questions or just don't like your job, then go do something else. People who get a massage expect a good massage and a nice person at the front desk, to help with the experience. Kaleigh is definitely one of the most incompetent receptionist I've talked to. Will make a complaint. Due to my horrible experience there, I won't be back. I don't think they care about losing a customer anyway, not worth my time or money. I will find another place who values clients, have front desk people with good customer service skills and good therapist that will stay around. All the good therapist leave, high turnover. I am guessing it's due to management, what a shame. I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. The main reason I am not going back is due to the unprofessional and incompetent manager and front desk. Not wasting my time or money here again. There are other good massage places to spend my money! read more

I have been in to this Elements Massage location a few times now and each time has been a fabulous experience! This place is fabulous! Justin was my masseuse and was fantastic! I have already been twice since they opened and will be back!!

I had Savannah. She was amazing. It was just the right pressure and so relaxing! Even the receptionist is great! I'll be back soon!

The massage studio is very clean, inviting and relaxing from the moment you walk in the door. You are greeted by a very friendly and courteous staff. But their customer service starts before that... They will send you a confirmation email regarding your appointment, and a reminder phone call the day before. That is huge for people with a busy schedule. My family and I have tried multiple massage therapists and they all have been great! They are very good at adjusting the massage to your specific needs. This is the only massage studio that has earned my repeat business. Love them! read more

Nicest little therapy and relaxation spa in Tempe. The therapists and front desk people are all fantastic, and it's obvious that they sincerely care about giving you a great massage experience...And they do their best for the average person to be able to afford a monthly maintenance routine, which I think we could all use to keep us balanced in our crazy, speed of light daily lives! ...Just sayin'!:) read more

$99.00 for a 40 minute session was expensive. There are comparable or better places to go for a more reasonable price.

Our family received a $30 coupon for the Tempe facility. I called to inquire about the fee for a 90-minute massage for a new client and was told the fee would be $89.00. I mentioned that I had a $30 coupon and planned to apply it. I made a gift appointment for my husband for the next day (5-2-15). When he returned home, he said that the massage was fine, but the price was not what I had been quoted. Instead, he was charged $129.00 for the massage and given a $40.00 discount. He added a $15.00 gratuity for the massage therapist = total of $104.00. So...instead of the anticipated bill being $89-$30 (coupon) =$59 + $15.00 (gratuity) =$74.00...we were charged an extra $30.00. These business practices mean a one time only visit for this family. read more

I had one amazing massage and signed up. That therapist is no longer there. They only have one other that can do prenatal and she did not want to use pregnancy table which was one of the major reasons I loved elements. Lying on my side for 60 minutes is not relaxing. Then they scheduled me twice and cancelled. They were not available four different times I tried to schedule appts. They even cancelled the day of when I already arranged childcare. They were callous about my dissatisfaction and did not attempt to improve anything nor was I contacted by management. I have since been to two other elements locations that actually have availability and they have been great. If you are pregnant this is not the place for you. If you want customer service go elsewhere. I have rarely written a slightly negative review but feel this is too important for others not to know. When you are finally spending money on yourself it should be a good experience. read more

I was out of town enjoying my one and only and I needed a massageAfter falling off camelback mountain and twisting my ankle. Plus i was not happy with tyhe 120 temputure. I was all messed up. After calling around everywhere with no response or being rushed in by massage Envy, I kept calling around and finally found Elements. I was greated by Peter at front desk with a welcoming relaxed voice, and when I got there Kayla front desk made me feel like there is no rush to fill out paperwork, they were pleasant and by the time my therapist approach me, I was already relaxed, so I thought. OMG ALLYN, that man was so good he has a medical and therapeutic license so he knew what spots to go to and I love his deep tissue hands. He knew when to talk and when no to. FOR ANYONE GETTING A MASSAGE ON A REGULAR KNOW WHAT I MEAN. All I can say is ELEMENTS you have it going on. Those hands. ALLYN. THANK YOU.
