Wonderful facial experience! The reception area was serene and bright, and the staff were friendly with minimal wait time. The treatment room was quiet and cozy, and the heated blanket added extra comfort. The esthetician had a soft and  gentle touch. The citrus-fresh scent of the products made my skin feel renewed, hydrated, and refreshed afterward. My skin still felt hydrated even after a few days after washing! After my facial, the owner Felicia approached me, and complimented my glowing skin. She then asked how I felt about my facial experience. Still floating... two days later! I had the absolute pleasure of experiencing a massage at Element Massage, and I can confidently say Lucy is magic. Her technique is phenomenal. Strong enough to melt away tension but never too intense. It was that perfect balance that leaves you feeling deeply relaxed and completely renewed. What I appreciated most was Lucy's intuitive approach. She communicated just enough to check in and create comfort, but also let me slip into that blissful, floaty headspace without interruption. It was exactly what my body and mind needed. The space itself is a whole vibe. Beautiful, serene, and grounded with positive energy from the front desk to the treatment room. I had been going here for a few years and liked several of their therapists. Until yesterday. They ask you to fill out an "intake form" and provide medical information on it. I refused because this isn't a doctor or a medical facility, I'm not getting health care I'm getting my feet rubbed. I guard my personal information carefully. Their front desk staff made a HUGE deal out of it, insisted it was mandatory, and "state law" (it's not), called the owner, etc etc. I ended up just walking out rather than allow myself to be browbeaten and lied to. I'll be canceling my membership and demanding a refund. Avoid this place. It's sus AF. read more

I give my massage therapist, Austin, 5 stars, but the room experience was horrible. There was so much noise coming from the Xfinity employees next door. The music was cutting out half the time in room 3. Warning !! DO NOT go in room 3 or 4 on the right side. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything, Especially the Xfinity guys making fun of someone with a disability. Austin apologized "I'm sorry those guys are pretty awful." Me "Yeah, that's pretty bad" Not what I want to talk about during my "relaxing" massage . I wish I had my AirPods in. I wish I was on the left side of the hallway. Just had a facial here and it was wonderful! Pure Bliss! Received a promotional card in the mail offering it at memberships pricing $99. So I gave it a try. And so glad I did. It included: extractions, mask, massage (excellent). And an enzyme cleaning solution. She did a brighter and other stuff too! My face looks and feels so much better. I'll definitely go back. Service by Chauntay was great. But their front desk was meh... their Alamo location closed in December (only 3 months ago!) and when I gave them a gift card they said because it was purchased at a closed location, it was no longer valid. They told me this AFTER I had gotten the massage, even though I gave the card before my appointment. So I had to pay something I couldn't really afford in the first place. I mean, these places seriously need to have a backup plan or at least compensate a little bit. I got that gift card in May 2025 and the place closed down within 6 months of my purchase. One week ago I was charged twice for the same service. They can't figure out what happened. I have called them 3 times asking for a correction, and to talk to the manager or owner. Neither the manager nor the owner have called me. Nothing has been corrected on my visa card. There has been no credit back to my account. I can't believe this nightmare. I have been a member at this Elements Massage studio for a few months now. The atmosphere is serene, the staff are friendly and welcoming. I have seen a few different massage therapists, who are each very competent and attentive to my specific requests. Membership enables having a massage on the calendar each month, at a fair price. I was supposed to have a massage today. The therapist manning the front desk couldn't figure out gift cards for the woman ahead of me who left quite annoyed. I sat there for 20 minutes after filling out my intake form and then the receptionist and therapist decided I couldn't use the credit after all. Very different policy than Alamo and Walnut Creek. They were so rude and completely ineffectual. I would certainly recommend avoiding this place at all costs. Within 30 minutes 2 clients were very upset by their lack of service, competence, and integrity. Obviously, this business is out for money not client satisfaction. read more

Easy to book an appt for the next day, clean environment and friendly front desk staff. I did a 90min with Xerez and she was amazing. I was able to adjust pressure during the massage and it was just the right amount of firmness I needed without being too hard. This rating is three parts: Cyrus, Front Desk Staff and Greg. I have been a member for several years. My experience with Cyrus has been phenomenal. He listens to what you ask for and need, and works extremely hard to make sure you leave feeing better than when you arrived. He has healing hands! He is also incredibly kind and professional. The Front Desk Staff is always helpful, nice and accommodating. I appreciate the friendly reminders and they are very patient. I have only had 2 interactions with Greg, and it was asking for support for a local elementary school in the San Ramon. He was generous and I am very appreciative! I'm not sure if he is still involved with the business but wanted to make sure I recognized appropriately and never did before! read more

The facility is clean and well staffed; I am greeted warmly every time I enter and exit. Please note--this is a review for the terrible front desk and billing/admin. Most therapists are fine, but many good ones have left over the year or two making a handful of good ones extremely busy and perpetually booked. I suspended the services of Elements in December 2022--their own notes (written in our presence) say clearly that they would let me catch up with the excess that I was wrongly charged for a year. We were told that we can resume our services when we are ready. If I remember correctly, that date was tentatively supposed to be January 2024. I asked the young man whether there was a restriction on when I needed to start again and he said, "Absolutely not, this is a new owner and he has no such restrictions." He also said that he would recommend using up all our credit first and only then resuming our membership. We were satisfied. So technically we had a year to catch up on 10 massages. If we could not, we also had the option to cancel. This was the result of our in-person/face-to-face meeting with their staff last December. They also admitted that they were double-charging my card by mistake for a full year. Yes, they refunded the excess charges to our credit card, left 5 messages on our credit, and for the rest 5 gave us gift cards. So we had to catch up 10 massages but we could only do 4 out of 10. Unfortunately, my husband also could not catch up on those messages mainly for two reasons. 1. Their availability would often not fit into our hectic commute-based schedule (we preferred weekends/Fridays). And 2. They did not have a therapist who offered a medium-firm Swiss massage when we wanted or requested. For example, we tried many and were not always comfortable with the excess pressure or it was too light. We liked a therapist who left. Then we liked Alberta, and she was the only one who worked out for us but was often she was not available daily/at convenient times. The business has changed hands, and there is also a significant turnover among therapists. Their new owner was supposed to be fairer and ethical, and we thought our troubles were sorted after a kind young man took the time to resolve our billing mess. He said the old contract was no longer valid and they would resolve everything. We were asked to go "in person" to discontinue the membership. When we went in December 2022 and requested to discontinue, they "begged" us to suspend instead of stepping completely. So we did that. When I check my card end of every year, I noted they have started charging me again since May. When we called, front desk staff Leslie began citing that their original contract 2-3 years ago (which I was told was clearly not right), says that suspensions could only last for 4 months. Even though their Dec 2022 notes say, they are offering us suspension until we can catch up. It's a headache in the holiday season. But we will put these charges in dispute and this is not a business worth getting a membership for unless you are all set with your favorite therapist. read more

I actually looking forward to my next massage at Element, they are very good with accommodating my requests as I usually do last min appointments and most places you need to book in advance. I've been going to this Elements Massage location for about 4 years. I usually see Joel and he's wonderful. He's very thoughtful and always listens to my concerns. I come out feeling better and more relaxed. Also when I had an issue once with another massage therapist, the front desk folks refunded my money right away as well as offered another massage. They were great about resolving the issue. Also, that therapist has since left. On occasion when Joel is booked I go to other therapists and they are all pretty good. read more

Relaxing place, as it should be. Spacious in the lobby & rooms were spacious as well. Our masseuses were very nice. I forgot my masseuse's name, but my husband's was Crystal. He said that she did a good job with pressure, and helped him out a lot. As for me, I was feeling great during and after the massage as well. Oils & lotions were great temperatures & I honestly had no problem w/ the massage. They did a great job & I'm glad we came in. After, the receptionist offered the membership, but we kindly declined, at least for now. We definitely recommend coming here after a hard work week. I was called to schedule appointments because I have their monthly plan and I haven't been in awhile. I scheduled multiple appointments just to be able to get in because availability is super limited. I asked for reminders, I got No reminder and no message or missed call. The cost of a not going is the whole fee of 200$ because I booked two sessions. I'm canceling today! Regan is rude! She needs to be fired! You don't hang up in customers faces! Then You have to drive there to cancel with them! The audacity.. This place was cool initially. Minh is the only good one there! Updated: I went there and I was asked to sign a 30day cancel for.. allowing them to charge me again. I did not! I canceled my bank card and I'm disputing the last two massage services that I didn't receive. The manager Greg called. I appreciate him reaching out. He was nice and professional but enforced the policy even tho I never received a confirmation. He says he has a log that someone called and I confirmed. I DID NOT! I was really excited to come get a massage as I am 7 months pregnant and the bigger I get, the more uncomfortable I am. I had a gift card that I had been waiting to use and finally found the time to go. I have had numerous massages throughout the years and since my pregnancy, I have had 3 different pregnancy massages. When I called to make an appointment, I was caught off guard by the fact that they said that it was an additional $10 fee to get a pregnancy massage. I didn't think much of it - I just wanted to go, get a nice massage and relax. I walked in and the staff was friendly and the waiting room was clean and relaxing. It went downhill once they took me back for the massage itself. For starters.. I paid more money for the prenatal massage.. they didn't have the proper equipment to do prenatal massages. Meaning that, most places you go to, Fairmont, Burke Williams, etc., they have massage pillows which have room for your chest and stomach to sleep on so that you can lay on your stomach to get a real massage. Not here. I walked in to the room, and was told you need to lay on your back because we don't have the prenatal pillows. If I wanted them to work on my back/glutes, I would need to do it on my side with a normal pregnancy pillow. I was so caught off guard - you charged me more for an inferior experience? By the time we got through this whole fiasco and my shock, it was 15 after 5 and I was supposed to get an hour long massage. All massage therapists cut time off by wasting time, but my massage ended right at 6 pm. I guess that's what you get with corporate entities like this that operate on volume. The massage itself - I asked for a lot of pressure, that didn't happen. The whole thing was very awkward and rather than getting lost in the massage, I just wanted it to end. The masseuse also didn't time himself properly so he didn't finish massaging my left side (oh yea.. because you took 15 min of my massage). The lotion he used was cold, which was also a first for me. I have had cheaper massages in my life and they even had warmer lotion. None of the areas that I had targeted were done properly. I left feeling the same way I did when I walked in, if not more annoyed that I wasted $10 for the prenatal portion and that I had to tip the guy. Then, I had to go listen to the lady sell me on the membership and try to get my to schedule another massage but for 90 min. No thank you! I will not be returning and don't advise for any expecting mothers. read more

The good: My massage was great, my masseuse was attentive and thorough and I felt great afterward. The ok: Private rooms were nice but they are not sound proofed much. The hallway is audible and when a massage started next door to me I could understand the whole conversation happening in the next room. Interruptions weren't too bad, but they were noticeable. The bad: The up-sell for their monthly membership was hard and unrelenting and the absolute last thing I wanted after a 90 minute massage. What seemed to be the manager was very pushy and it put a serious buzzkill on my relaxed feeling after my great massage. The irony is I actually need regular care and would've considered this place and their membership but it was just so off-putting at the end that, while I could see myself coming back, I'm going to look around elsewhere for my regular spot. read more

This place doesn't care about their customers at all. I got my second covid shot and was sick and couldn't make it to my appointment and they went ahead and charged me $120 cancellation fee. No one ever explained me the cancellation policy and asked me for credit card details. They went ahead and stored by details on their own ( without informing me ) and without authorization went ahead and charged against my card. Never going back to them again and will make sure none of my friends visit this location ever again. Horrible horrible customer experience read more

I booked a couples massage for me and my husband. Two main things went wrong, the quality of the massage and the timing. First we were scheduled for a: Himalayan pink salt and a deep tissue one. They called me the same day saying the pink salt machine was broken. Thugs happen. I said it was ok if the 2 masseuse were able to to Deep Tissue kind of massage. They said yes. First: we were there 10 min before the appointment to fill out paper work, there was a lot of paper work. I knew they wanted more time for that so I asked: " can we finish the last paper after the massage so we can be on time? " The lady said : No, you need to do it now so they can customize your massage. First problem: NOBODY said, it was a 50 min massage. The whole time I was told it was a 60 min one. I've had a lot of massages in different places and it's always 60 min. The people on front desk didn't tell ya that, then, they saw we were going over time with the paper work, and could've ask us to finish later, like a lot of other places do, but they want to. Once we got into the room for the massage: they asked us what is that we wanted and we were looking for, so it's not clear why they made me waste time filling the papers to have to say it again. And Second time: nobody told us anything about the timing. But that time it was 2.10 Pm. And they finished the massage 5 min before. So 45 min total. Amazing. Were were very clear about wanting a whole body massage, I explained my main concern were the legs for running. My husband got only the massage in the back, they didn't even get to legs or any front and they finished 2 min after I rolled on my back. Neither of them did the Deep tissue massage, I kept asking for it and didn't happened. The place is clean, and nice lookin, so I'm giving one start. And I don't want to name the people that did the massage, maybe they will better in the future. But it was a very bad experience. Everybody neglected to tell us it was 50 min shortened to 45 min. When we were asked what would we prefer once we were in the room, they should've said: that ain't happen in the time left. So at least we could've prioritize. I think they just have some serious issue about been clear in what the service is and includes. I booked this 2 weeks ago for our wedding anniversary, and it was disappointing. Like my husband said; if it were a cheap massage we wouldn't care, you get what you paid for. But we paid 250 dollars with the tips and everything. And it was not worth it at all. We went right after that to have a massage in another place and it was amazing. Nice people but I wouldn't come here again. Update: After owner answering. Thanks for answering, And also thanks for Anne who called me later that night. But the answer still doesn't own the problem. You are just justifying the bad service but no ownership or willingness to change in the future. That's why I wouldn't try it again neither recommend it to anyone. read more

I've been coming here for three months now. I have the membership, which brings your hour long massage to $79 a month, and it's well worth it. The location is great, elements massage is in a clean and beautiful shopping center in San Ramon. When you walk by the place, you can smell the eucalyptus or whatever sent it is. The place is very clean, relaxing and calm, and they have a variety of different massages you can get. The ladies at the front are welcoming and kind. My massage therapist, Joel, is a genuine person who I believe truly cares about his patients' relaxation and well being.
