I did the 60 minute deep tissue massage (~$60 pp) and I feel like that is the perfect amount of time and a great price. My friend and I had Katy and Cindy, and they were super great! I had a massage from Cindy. She did an okay job - probably could've put more effort. It was a full body massage but she didn't do my arms until the end when I asked her if she's doing my arms and then she said "ok" but spent only 1 min on each arm. The weirdest part was when I paid and tipped. I paid cash and asked for change, I then gave her the tip in cash and she made a weird face and looked at my hand full of the rest of my change and asked for more cash ? I said ummm no and walked out. I've never had someone ask me for more cash for tip. read more

My Sister's Experience: Appointment with Cindy, 60 minute Deep Tissue Massage. (October2024, evening) My sister decided to treat herself with a massage for her birthday. I highly recommended Cindy. After her massage, I found out she was disappointed. She said the massage was very soft and lacked effort. I was sad to hear this, 1) because it was her birthday 2) because I recommended her. I have been massaged by Cindy 3-4 times, and I have had nothing but great experiences. We consider the cause being that it was late (7pm appointment), they might be tired, etc... But, if that is the case, DO NOT TAKE APPOINTMENTS UNTIL 9pm. I would suggest going earlier in the day, or possibly trying a different masseuse. My Mom's Experience: Appointment with Cindy, 60 minute Deep Tissue Massage. (May2024, early afternoon) After the massage when checking out, my mom was going to give a $15 tip. Whoever was receiving her payment insisted, "No, for this service you tip $20". &stated so several times, because my mom thought she misheard. She tipped the $20, walked out. After a relaxing massage, this would have put me in a bad mood. But, my mom enjoyed it so much, she said she'd be back and next time schedule a longer time. I don't like interactions like this. If you want us to tip you a certain amount, just put it into the service cost and state "Tip is built into the cost of the service", and that be the end of it. The massage: As I said, my mom was completely happy with her service. She said that the deep tissue was too much for her. With these last 2 experiences by my family, I don't know that I would recommend Cindy again to friends. I hope these instances are just flukes. But, if you are not consistent in the way you treat people or how you perform your services, how do you expect people to want to come back? So, I am conflicted about this business. I had the... oddest experience here. It was one I am still in disbelief about as I paid for that service. My foot was sore today after playing tennis and wanted get some foot reflexology. My go to place in Dublin was a bit too far, considering my time frame. I Yelped and saw this place had good ratings. I then remembered getting a massage here years ago pre-Covid. I went online and was able to get an appt within 40 minutes. THIS should have been red flag #1. Upon arrival, a woman standing near the counter just stands there, stoic. She doesn't say anything so I tell her I'm have an appointment and give her the time. She STILL looks at me and doesn't say anything. I ask her if she is Cindy and she still doesn't reply. She points to my feet and simply says "foot massage." I reply yes. She leads me to a dark room and gestures for me to sit. Was she going to turn on the light? I take off my shoes and try to get comfortable. It's hard as the chair doesn't recline and the cushion doesn't allow me to lean back so I put it on my lap. She comes with a bowl of warm water, lined with plastic. She asked me if the water was okay. I am hard of hearing but she was walking out and said some like 10 minutes. She comes back in 10 min as I still try to relax and get comfortable. She starts and I am hopeful that this experience will get better. It doesn't. There's barely any relaxing music heard. The only light is coming from the hallway as I sit. It was so weird. As she is attempting to rub and "massage, she doesn't REapply much oil and clearly skin is pinching and I flinch and pull away. That was her cue to reapply. All the while during the entire service my feet aren't feeling "better" than when I came in. Also, she must have looked up at the clock at least 7 times. When she moves onto the next, same mundane rubbing and nothing relaxing about any of it that I wished I didn't come in the first place or should have just waited to go to Foot Logic. When all was said and at exactly the 59 min mark, like she was counting down the seconds from the last time she looked up, she packs up everything to get me hot towels, shake my legs, twist and turn my ankles and called it a day. She literally told me "$40" didn't ask me how my service was, didn't offer me water after like a "massage" service. Seriously, I was in disbelief that she put out this type of service and charged for it. Needless to say, this has got to be the WORST foot reflexology I have ever had. I tried to see if I could reach out to a manager after I got home but there was no contact info on file. I was reading through other reviews, which I should have done in the 1st place, which I usual do had I not been short on time. Next time, I will trust my gut. Will continue to visit my other favorite foot reflexology place that always takes their job seriously where I always leave there feeling so relaxed and recharged, making me to want to visit again. Not this place. Never again. Too bad as this was so close to home. What a shame. read more

Sorry to say this was the worst foot reflexology massage I've ever had. First off, they kept the door of the room I was in wide open, which just felt weird... the bright light from the hallway shining in wasn't very relaxing.. and neither was the chair they have you sit in. Then, my masseuse starts me 10mins late and doesn't even make up for that lost time. She also ended 5mins early, but she realized this so she started rubbing my feet again after she already wiped them off with the towel. So odd. But worst of all, the quality of the massage was just terrible. This was the most inconsistent pressure I've ever received in a massage. And she never asked how the pressure was either. There were moments where she was barely applying ANY pressure and would even pause slightly. I opened my eyes to see what was going on and she was FALLING ASLEEP. I kid you not, dosing off with my foot in her hands. Really disappointing. I won't be going back. read more

This place was great. I do a lot of running. About 30 miles a week. My legs were getting way to tight. So i got a deep tissue massage. This womans hands were like magic! It was kinda gentle where there was no knots or tightness but when she found a spot that needed it, those hands turned into jackhammers haha. She did a great job. My chiropractor recommended this location a few months ago and to look for Cindy. I really needed a massage but Cindy wasn't available, so I tried a different massage therapist. I had a really good experience because I love a strong, deep tissue massage. I have tried all the massage therapists here and have not been disappointed. This spot is a little far from where I love so when I know that I will run errands near this location, this is the highlight of my day trip. They are always on time for my scheduled appointments which is really important as I have made appointments elsewhere and people didn't keep time like they do here. I like the affordable prices because it gives me a chance to tip bigger as the end result is the same if not better than those pricey places. The Jade Day Spa is also a chain with two other locations. I've always wanted to visit the Crow Canyon location but when I look online for an appointment, nothing has been available, so they must be popular. In need of a deep tissue muscle relaxing massage for an affordable price? Jade Day Spa is the place. Want fancy schmancy decor, scented candles, infused waters, and European accents? Then go somewhere else. Jade gets you thorough massage for an unbelievable price ($40 per hour) and even though they have water (bottled) and candy bowls, they forgo all the extras to keep the price down. Here are my three essentials to a good massage. 1. Identify problem areas and work on them as a priority. 2. Use multiple techniques in each area to break up scar tissue and loosen up the muscle (not just the same motion for a longer period of time). 3. Start low and work up the the optimum pressure, so the muscles can acclimate. Not all massage therapists do all three of the above, but mine did and is able to do it all in 60 minutes from head to toe. Tip: I've only gone to Coco, and highly recommend her. The hot towels at the end are close to being the best part, and remove all the oils so you don't slide out of your car in the way home. Tip2 - Bring cash, no credit cards taken. Tip3 - Let Coco know ahead of time how deep a massage you can handle (light, medium, deep) so you're not surprised and embarrass yourself by screaming out loud. Not a good experience. Booked ahead for 60 minute foot reflexology. Arrive only to have lady try to talk me into full body massage (probably because it costs more). The treatment itself was not good. The actual foot massage was more like 35 minutes after considering my feet sat in water for 10 and the therapist stopped 10 minutes early. And only included feet.....no neck or shoulders like pretty much all foot reflexology places. I was gracious enough to leave a tip only to have lady follow me out asking for more!! Unbelievable after that experience that wasn't even 60 minutes long as advertised. Will not be back to this place. read more

This isn't a super fancy place, so if you're looking for a resort style experience this is just not the place. However, all the rooms are clean and quiet and are perfect to get a massage in. Fantastic massage! Went in for an hour long soft tissue massage and it was by far the best one I've received from the multiple places I've gotten massages. The building was extremely nice and high quality, each of the rooms was clean and quiet with. My masseuse kept good pressure the entire time and when she found a knot made sure to go over it a few times to help lessen it. The hot stones near the end were comfortably hot, not too hot to burn but definitely hot enough to relax my back. Also, this is the cheapest massage I've found; 1 hour for $40 is a steal in my mind and totally worth the price. I typically pay around $60 for an hour so I will be trying out the 90 minute for $60 next week when I go back! read more

I got a 2 hour deep tissue massage with Coco and it was just as good as a massage I would of gotten from the other day spas in the area for a fraction of the cost. The rooms are clean, sheets are clean, and my therapist was great and will ask you throughout your massage how the pressure is. To keep costs down they don't have all the fancy spa amenities and only take cash but that is a small trade off in my opinion. For a massage spa in Blackhawk/Danville, the price cannot be beat. I took my mom for Mother's Day last month and I got a massage by Kim at the San Ramon location. My mom's massage was done by Katy and she said it was great. I went to this location yesterday and Amy was my masseuse based off recommendations I saw on Yelp. It was a really good massage! I know this sounds weird but I like when she just applied pressure with the sheet over me before and at the end. Plus she cracked my back in the beginning which felt so good lol Just a fair warning: this is not a "Day Spa" as the name might imply. If you're look for something extra fancy and tranquil, then I would go elsewhere. The rooms are not sound proof at all and I could hear people in other rooms talking quite frequently.
