Dr. Max (Lippman) is AMAZING and Julie Cervantes is AWESOME. I want to share my stories about these…read moreplaces that I love to visit over and over again. Dr. Max is a lifesaver. Last year I had a fever with a high temperature. It happened at the end of the week. At night something shifted in my hip bone area and I started feeling an annoying pain. It kept growing, and by the end of the next day I couldn't sit, stand, walk, or lie down. The pain was constant. The painkillers didn't work. Stretching didn't work. A warm, relaxing bath with salt didn't work. I was crying because it was unbearable. Somehow I made it through Thursday night, Friday, and the weekend. First thing in the morning my husband called Dr. Max to make an appointment, and thanks God he had a few openings, so I was able to come in. After a careful examination, Dr. Max made some adjustments and the pain was gone. It was like a miracle! I couldn't believe that in such a short time, the pain that had kept me from doing anything had disappeared. This is just one story about Dr. Max's work. I have many, since I've had the chance to see him whenever I needed over the past ten years. Julie is a rare professional I feel comfortable coming to no matter how I feel, even when I am exhausted and can barely speak. She provides thoughtful support and a healing massage for my joint and muscle stiffness. She uses a special machine (PEMF) that identifies which area of the body needs extra attention and shows what condition it is in. The machine sends electrical impulses that are mostly pleasant, but where there is real stiffness, it shows up and helps Julie see how the flow goes. It helped me a lot when I had an intensive period of workload and sat for 12-14 hours in a row. My body was crying. I had problems with my lower back and shoulders. The stiffness was so strong that I had pain at the end of each day, while walking, or while I was in bed turning onto one side. Gradually, through her hard work on my lower back and shoulders, the stiffness eased and the pain has gone. I appreciate that the results keep going long after I leave, lasting weeks and months. Julie helped me restore it and heal some of the areas that did not work properly for quite some time. I wish I had known earlier that I can address my condition and recover. I know that it is also helpful with some sports injuries and rehabilitation after surgeries. My mother-in-law tried it, and it helped her with an old surgery to restore more mobility in her shoulder area. Her arm now has a greater range of movement than before the massage with Julie and her machine. I would like to give a special thank you to Jayson and Julia for their excellent work with the clients at the front desk.

My daughter had been struggling for months with a growth plate stress injury in her wrist. Despite following her orthopedist's recommendation to rest it for a couple of months, she still couldn't use her wrist without pain, discomfort, and significant stiffness. While acupuncture successfully relieved her pain, her wrist and forearm remained extremely tight, limiting her movement and keeping her from returning to the activities she loves. Wanting to explore additional options, I brought her to Julie for PEMF (Pulsed Electromagnetic Field) therapy. I was hopeful, but I never expected such dramatic results. Within just two days of her first treatment, my daughter noticed a significant release in the muscles of her forearm. After only two treatments, she was using her arm freely again and was excited to return to her normal activities. Julie, thank you for introducing us to this remarkable therapeutic modality. It truly felt miraculous to see the spark return to my daughter's eyes after months of frustration. You didn't just help restore her wrist mobility and function, you gave her back her confidence in her physical abilities. I only wish I had brought her in sooner and that I had known about PEMF therapy when I was recovering from my own back injury a few years ago. I am incredibly grateful for your expertise, compassion, and willingness to think beyond conventional treatments. Thank you, Julie! *********************************************************** I've been a patient of Dr. Max for several years, and he's treated me for various conditions. Most recently, he provided exceptional care for a herniated disc. Dr. Max is professional, easy and good to talk with, and genuinely cares about his patients. He understands that every patient is different and is open to adjusting his approach to be more gentle if that's what you need. His exceptional ability to diagnose the problem and make the proper adjustments to fix it is nothing short of miraculous. A key part of his practice is the inclusion of top-notch massage therapists like Valeria. She's been indispensable in my herniated disc recovery, helping me return to an active lifestyle. I can't say enough about her therapeutic hands. Valeria is incredibly skilled, in tune with every muscle, and has a lovely energy that makes each session positive. She even offers great rolling and stretching tips to support your progress. Dr. Max now treats my whole family, including my kids and elderly mother-in-law. I trust him, and Valeria, wholeheartedly with our care. If you're looking for a chiropractor who combines expertise with genuine compassion and a massage therapist who can truly heal, Dr. Max and Valeria are the ones to see.

This was my first massage in many years, and I was hoping for a relaxing experience. The masseuse…read morewas polite and did check in with me, but the pressure was much stronger than I asked for. I mentioned a few times that I preferred light pressure, yet it still felt painful rather than relaxing. At checkout, I did leave a tip, but it seemed like it wasn't considered enough. The staff looked at me in a way that made me feel uncomfortable, and my mom ended up tipping more afterward. The situation felt awkward and embarrassing, and I didn't appreciate feeling pressured about tipping. I understand tipping is customary, but it should feel voluntary, especially when the service itself wasn't relaxing for me. Because of this experience, I won't be returning.

I would have loved to rate this higher, but there were some minor details that made the experience…read morenot as superior as it could have been. Starting with the positives because they deserve it: - My massage person was excellent. She communicated with me all the time to make sure the pressure was ok. Yet she didn't talk other times so i could enjoy the massage, which was great. - Location of the place is good and parking is allocated. - Checking in and out was fast and frienfly. The negatives that impacted the experience: - There's only a curtain separating each massage table so you can hear everything - everything as in the person beside you breathing in and out, and grunts of natural noises a person might make, what the massage person and client are saying to each other, which means it's vice versa. - The bathroom must be very close to the rooms as I must have heard the toilet flush at least 7 times during my visit and hear the door open, close, could hear toilet seat covers being teared off too. If it wasn't a massage where you senses are heightened due to having your head down and eyes closed, these sounds might not have bothered me, but they were interruptions that got in the way of me completely relaxing. I would have loved to go back because the massage itself was very good, but I don't want to deal with the negatives mentioned above again.

Scheduling was easy, and the receptionist was friendly and professional. The business is located within a shared salon suite with multiple businesses. There is a nice waiting area with seating and refreshments, although I wasn't sure whether it was available to clients. Crystal was welcoming and confirmed she could fit both deep tissue massage and reflexology into the 75-minute session. One reason I booked longer than the standard 60 minutes was because I wanted a slower, more relaxed treatment rather than feeling rushed. The massage itself was effective, and I left feeling physically better. Crystal is clearly experienced and confident in her techniques. However, the pace remained brisk throughout much of the session, making it difficult for me to fully relax. There was also a brief interruption during the massage, and conversations from nearby businesses could occasionally be heard. Her massage style incorporates pressure-point, stretching, and meridian-style techniques that were more intense than I expected. While those methods may be effective for some clients, I would have appreciated a brief explanation beforehand, as I was expecting a more traditional deep tissue massage. I also expected some reflexology near the end of the session, but instead the remaining time was spent on my neck and shoulders. The hot stones on my back were a nice touch, although I would have preferred being asked before they were used. Overall, I think my expectations simply differed from Crystal's treatment style. If you're looking for a therapeutic, treatment-focused massage with firm pressure, you'll likely appreciate her approach. If you're seeking a slower, quieter spa experience, I'd recommend discussing your preferences beforehand.
