Their scheduling approach is a nightmare. My partner purchased a Groupon for a massage to gift me. 1st time - I googled the business and called and made an appointment. I showed up. The woman at the front desk said I didn't have an appt. I figured I must have called the wrong place and it was my mistake. So I said no problem. I will call soon to book. 2nd time- same approach (google, called and spoke to someone to book for 5 days away) I found it odd that she didn't ask my name or my telephone number but just figured they were super casual about how they did business. I could also tell her English wasn't very good. So I show up for my appointment and again the lady at the front says that I don't have an appointment. She doesn't have me down and that they are busy with four people. This time I said that's not possible. I looked you up on Google and I showed her that was their business with a picture of the front and the telephone number I called was the one listed. Then I noticed that the telephone number that was on the flyer at the front desk was different. When I asked her why they have different numbers, she indicated that the number I was calling was direct to the massage Person and she does not know her schedule. Frustrating for sure, but I laughed it off and I rebooked it for the very next day at 3:30 PM. 3rd time- I show up for my 330 appointment and there's nobody at the front desk. I waited a few minutes and a woman comes out of the back and ask me if I wanted a massage. I told her that I had a 330 appointment and she said no you don't. And I said I do. I spoke to the person at the front desk yesterday and she booked it. She then looks at me and said not possible you need to wait 30 minutes. And I said I can't wait 30 minutes. I'm on a tight schedule. She said call my manager. So I proceeded to call the number that was on the flyer at the front desk and the manager said that I don't have an appointment. She said I told you 5:30 or 6 PM. That was not true because I had just booked it the day before and specifically worked around the 330 appointment. Needless to say, I have no clue how they are able to stay in business The communication skills were very limited and the fact that they have two different telephone numbers for two different people booking massages without knowing the schedule is ridiculous. So after three attempts, I still haven't gotten a massage and certainly will not try again. Good luck to anyone that is successful in getting a massage at this place. read more

The masseuse was very rough, even after I expressed as much. Also, I arrived at 9:30 right when they opened, massage didn't start until 9:40 I paid for an hour and at 10:20. She said we were done. Can guarantee I'll never return. read more

I've tried many massage places around this area and based on my experience last night, they need better training and professionalism. I booked a 90 minutes body massage and 90% of the focus was on my back to the point where i asked to turn over. She only focused in that area , never touched my feet, hands , or the head . It was basically rubbing the same area the entire time. The owner who was also doing the massage for my friend kept stepping out to take phone calls and you could hear the other women talking in the other room and my lady kept banging on the wall to keep them quiet . All the distractions, and the same motion of the same spot on my back was actually making me anxious . It wasn't the most relaxing experience. Won't be going back and will continue to find a place that has people trained in doing an all body massage. read more

This was probably the worst massage in my life. In fact, this massage was so bad, that I want to call it a scam. The masseuse clearly had no idea what she was doing. She started with a back massage that was very brief, wiped my back dry, asked me if I wanted to turn over and gave me brief slaps on the front, then turned me on my back again, then put me on one side, then on the other side, then on the back again for a dry massage. Typically, masseuses have a pretty smooth routine for the whole session. This, however, seemed like a series of random pats and strokes in no particular order. Then, she kept asking me a bunch of questions (Do you want oil? Do you want a hot towel? Do you want a face massage? Do you want a head massage? Have you ever done a massage before? Where are you from? How old are you? Where do you work? Do you make a lot of money? (I kid you not) Etc. etc.). Normally I don't mind questions as long as they serve a purpose (even if it's small talk) - in this case, she just didn't know what to do with me for a whole hour. Which, by the way, was only 50 minutes (to be exact, 52 minutes from entering the room to exiting the room - I checked the clock). I paid for an hour and at some point I was ready for it to end at any time because it wasn't good. In these 52 minutes, she left the room 4 (four!) times: twice to look who came through the front door (their front door has this bell that rings every time someone enters), once to answer the phone at the checkin desk, and once to talk to somebody in the hall. She also got a non-muted text message and answered it during the session. You can imagine this was pretty disruptive and far from relaxing or therapeutic. And finally, the payment. At the end, she asked me if I will pay with a card or cash. Having paid at the front before the massage (an annoying but typical practice at many Asian massage salons), I said that I had already paid at the front. You won't pay me? - she asked with insistence. I repeated that I had paid at the front before the massage and have the receipt. At this point, she said she would check. Naturally, she returned and said that she saw that I had paid. I'm curious how this conversation would have gone if I hadn't kept the receipt. Also, I'm not convinced that she wasn't the person who met me at the front door - at the very least they both wore white capri pants and masks, so it's hard to tell. By the way, I left a pretty good tip ($25 and the massage price was $70, a 36% tip). I regret it. I didn't get this person's name and I don't even care who it was - a massage salon that keeps such employees should not be in business at all. Never, ever will I return to this place, and I highly recommend others to avoid this place. It was a very disappointing experience. read more

Please take note of this!!! I won't not recommend you using this spa for anything. I bought twI groupon and contacted the owner to make an appointment. I was told only one appointment , so askedif she can accommodate me with two at the same time. owner said she will call me back. waiting for her call,no calls at all. she blocked me. so I use a different phone number and she answer and told me to come in Sunday at 530pm. we came and was told they are full and to come back 45 minutes later. so came back 45 to 1 hrlater. only one can come and the other would have to wait outside. Then a lady came while I was in the room and said she has an appointment at 6:30 and she was told she can't be seen. she was screaming and yelling at them. This place is a real joke. the massage was so awful. like they just running their hands n your body no presssure at all with the other person I was with. it was not what they indicate a massage should be. My husband and I decided to get massages after a 11 hour trip and booked a week ago because we found this place when we took our son to get a haircut next door. We went on Yelp to check reviews and saw the $49 coupon for Swedish massage for first time customers. There was not an expiration date and decided to try them out and see if this might be our new massage spot since were new to the area. First, we arrived 30 mins prior to appt and asked if we can use the coupon. I showed the receptionist and first said that the don't accept coupons. I explained that it was on Yelp and showed it to her. The receptionist took a picture of the coupon on my phone and said she would need to contact the owner. After getting off the phone she said they would honor the coupon and to come back when it's our appt time. Well, we went back after 30mins and another lady spoke with us and said the massage would be $80. I told her I spoke with the receptionist earlier and she cleared it with the owner. We asked her if she can talk to the girl who was upfront earlier and mentioned she took a picture and sent it to the owner. The lady kept saying they don't accept coupons and it was from 2021. Yet there was no expiration date. The lady continued to argue with us and I looked at my husband as I was getting uncomfortable with the situation and wanted to go find somewhere else to get a massage. My husband who is normally a patient man said it's fine they don't accept the coupon and he would just write a review after the experience. The lady then hesitantly decided to honor the coupon. My husband said the massage was not what he imagined and the masseuse put no pressure at all. (He was massaged by the lady who argued with us) Beginning of my massage I also had the same experience where there no pressure until I asked if she can work on my shoulders as I had pain there. My masseuse worked on my shoulders and went well afterwards. Reny was vey nice and appreciated her efforts. Although, I felt bad for my husband because all he wanted to do was relax after a long trip and he left feeling stressed and annoyed. I highly recommend Warm Springs for a wonderful and relaxing massage. I was impressed by how clean and quiet the spa is with reasonable pricing and exceptional massage therapists. I enjoy deep tissue as well as trigger point release and my needs are always meet. I have friends who also frequent the spa for therapeutic and sports massage and report there is none better in the Bay Area. Went to this place today because the place i go to was closed. From now on, this will be the spot i normally go to! The massage was great. I had a very nice woman, i think her name was Linda. She checked a few times to make sure she wasn't going to soft or to hard. I like that cuz it can be awkward if its to soft and you just blurt it out that it isnt hard enough. I like that she asks if the customer is happy. She did a great job. For sure worked out a few knots in my shoulders. Ill be back for sure. Happy i found this spot! read more
