I had a 5PM appointment w/Krystl. I was excited for a 90 min massage with cupping enhancement. I needed it' I checked in a few mins before 5PM to fill out the paperwork. As soon as I have my name I was asked if I had a chance to return the paperwork. Confused, I asked what paperwork & was shown what I was to have completed. I said I didn't receive any paperwork by email. No problem, I was given the paperwork to complete & I did. I was taken back by Krystl around 5:10. We didn't actually start the massage until 5:15. I know the appointment time includes meeting with the massage therapist, so that wasn't a big deal. We then finished the 90 min massage a 6:30. Now, math isn't my strong suit but I'm pretty sure that is less than 90 mins. No? Is it just me? Krystl was great. Don't get me wrong about being annoyed that I booked a 90 min massage & did NOT receive a 90 min massage. I am totally annoyed by this. Krystl was great with her pressure & really listening to me & my problem areas. She was definitely effective & helpful for what I came in for. But, my two complaints are: (1) I did not actually receive a 90 min massage that was booked & that I was charged for. I did receive the first time discount & wasn't charged for the cupping, so perhaps that was the reasoning & logic for not giving me a full 90 mins? Or perhaps they thought I wanted a 60 min massage & gave me the cupping & that's why I paid $99. I don't know. Why didn't I say something while I was there? Too tired to get into the details of it. I don't know that it was worth the hassle or that anything would have come out of it. Especially since I had seen complaints about being shorted on time. So, looks like it's a common theme. (2) Krystl's hands were a little on the cold side when we began the session. Nothing horrendous or stop the presses for, but the hands were cold. I gave this a 4 star review because I couldn't figure out how to give a half star or if thats even allowed. Overall, happy with Krystl. Not happy with receiving less than I booked & paid for. But, because I received less than I booked & because it appears to be common place, I will not be returning. Masks were worn. I was able to take my mask off while face down & then placed it back on when I turned over. Hand sanitizer was available as soon as you walked in. One lady was initially helping me and then these two other people jumped in and started talking at me all at the same time. Couldn't even get a question in because they were talking over me. When I scheduled my first appointment with them I made it clear I would do only 3 appointments. After I completed the 3 appointments and paid for them, I told them I would not be using their services any longer. This I considered my 30 day notice. I was not offered that form to sign stopping the contract. Now they are claiming I owe them for an additional massage because I didn't sign a form to give them 30 days' notice. This was a form I was never offered when I told them verbally I wanted to cancel. Their business practices are shoddy and deceptive. I would steer clear of them. NOT recommended. read more

I had no problem getting in for appointments UNTIL I agreed to become a member. Then, all of a sudden I can never find any appointments. Their cancellation is 30-days notice. So you have to pay an additional month, but during that month, you are not considered a member. So if you pay $79 for the monthly membership that month, per their policy, the cheapest massage is $119. Not that it matters because good luck getting it scheduled in a timely manner. read more

This was the 6th or 7th massage I've received and the 1st from this location. We scheduled a couples massage and I was excited for my husband to have his first massage. However, we both left disappointed. We both felt majority of the massage was having our massage therapist dig their elbows into us in a very uncomfortable non enjoyable (sometimes painful) against the grain of the muscle way. My husband asked his feet be avoided and I asked my lower back be avoided. However, my husband had more body parts worked on than I did. My massage therapist skipped chest, thigh, arms, hands, glutes, and scalp. The "massage" on my neck and shoulders was just having my skin pinched and pulled but never had my muscles actually massaged. It didnt feel good and was very unpleasant. My husband said most of his massage was only a few minutes per body part so his therapist finished 20ish minutes earlier than my person and then asked what else he wanted done but never felt like anything was actually focused on to be worked. We both left feeling beat up and never felt relaxed or even actually massaged. I've had many relaxing amazing massages at other establishments and even other elements locations. We will not return to this one. It was very disappointing and a waste of time and money. read more

This is my 4th time here in last 2 months. I made an appointment by phone today because I pulled a calf muscle in martial arts this morning. I was given a covid screening by phone, reminded to wear a mask - yes did that last 3 times got it. Was not told anything different. Parked in parking lot 15 minutes prior to my appointment and limp/hobbled across the parking lot to the front door and entered. There was a startled standing person at desk who I know saw me struggle to get to door. She alerts me that NOW they have have people wait in their cars until their appointments. I told her I've just been here 3 times and waiting in lobby with a mask was always fine. She said it's new because of COVID. I told her why didn't someone share that with me when I scheduled because there is NO WAY I am walking all the way back to my car with my injury to wait 10 more minutes until she calls me back in ‍ so now I'm standing outside in 110 degree weather for 10 minutes?????? I'm in pain. I'm injured. I had to DISCLOSE WHAT I NEEDED A MASSAGE FOR when I scheduled - would have been nice to know about the NEWEST rules implemented without notifying anyone. I am signed up for emails ‍ James is an amazing massage therapist - who has helped me majorly to recover from medical issues I have with my body but ..... seriously annoyed Finally let in to wait for therapist in waiting room - told someone was SUPPOSED to notify me of NEW policies when I scheduled. The receptionist violated my protected health information and treated me completely differently than the 2 other customer interactions. Just had another amazing massage from Bianca. She is the best. I wish she was still in Goodyear, but I am willing to make the drive to Peoria to see her because she is that good. I have had a hip replacement and golf and walk. My calf gets so tight and sore I need to stop on my walks and am in pain the last half of my walk. After my massage yesterday I did my whole walk without pain. She also got rid of the knot in my right shoulder blade. Her massage really helped me sleep better last night. I have experienced hundreds of massages over the years during my 50+ years in the health and fitness industry but, sadly, this was the worst massage I have ever experienced. Moreover, the "special" price of $69 (which is already higher than the average massage almost anywhere) was not made available to me, and I had to pay $99 for this considerably sub-par massage. My wife's massage was just O.K. but certainly nothing to remember. The facilities were very clean and professional, and the overall ambiance was relaxing and pleasant, but the end product was a disaster - not a good way to celebrate our anniversary. read more

Extremely disappointing experience. Not once during the booking process did the staff ask if I was paying for my service with a gift card or groupon. Upon arrival I mention to the receptionist that I will be paying with a groupon voucher then proceeds to inform me that the Peoria location does not take groupon. The Manager then presents herself and "offers" me member rates if I still want to do the massage if not she will have to charge me a cancellation fee since I am within a 24hr window. If the staff had mentioned to me or even inquired on why their client was booking the massage in the first place, I would have cancelled and not have taken up someone else's time. The manager ran my card on file to pay for the cancellation fee, before I could hand her an alternate form of payment, charging me twice for a service I did not receive. Had a prenatal massage today (currently 27 weeks pregnant) and was extremely dissatisfied. The therapist didn't even use lotion on my arm, legs or neck. I have broken blood vessels on my neck because she was rubbing my neck so hard without lotion I feel like I have rug burns on my neck. I asked her to work on my lower back because I have a lot of back pain from being pregnant and she only worked on my neck and shoulders, she didn't even touch my back. I also asked her to not touch my head or scalp because I don't like my head being touched and after she lightly rubbed my feet without lotion, she rubbed my head. She also didn't even help my sit up when she had my lay on my back. I was obviously struggling to sit up (being pregnant with a big belly) and she didn't even help me. When I turned over the room was so extremely bright as well so it was hard to relax. I left the massage more irritated and tense then when I came. Extremely dissatisfied. read more

One of THE worst massages I have ever had. Seriously. And I've had hundreds. He actually told me that my torn meniscus could be repaired with heat and ice. For real?? He didn't use enough oil/lotion, so there was constant friction on my skin. He also only used his fingers probably 20% of the time - the rest of the massage he used his elbows, knuckles and base of his hand. It wasn't relaxing at all. I'm very pleased with the service and the product they provide at Elements Massage in Peoria. I've been 4 times in the last 5 weeks and my therapist was Loribeth each time. She is incredibly knowledgeable and has done tremendous work on my low back in helping me regain full range of motion as well as pain-free mornings. The therapist I love, in particular, is Nohemi. She's amazingly talented at getting those knots nobody has been able to get on me, ever. I was extremely impressed when I entered the office. The receptionist was extremely kind and offered delicious fruit water as I was waiting for my therapist . The room was perfect!! I love every part of the setting! I was extremely comfortable, however I wasn't completely satisfied with my massage. In all fairness, I was asked a couple of times during my session about the pressure. I don't know if I could necessarily put my finger on what made this a bad massage, but I just didn't feel as though my entire body was being relaxed. If it were a meal I would describe it as bland. To be honest I have actually had better massages at some of the local massage colleges. I think the worst part was the high-pressure sale. After my massage I paid the introductory price for being a first-time client. I then felt pressured to join their membership club. after my experience I just decided that was not the place for me I also didn't like the signs that were posted regarding tipping. I don't feel it was appropriate to be told how much to tip; it just seems tacky. On the receipt is one thing but having signs posted is another. I got there at 230, a little before my friend who bought a groupon for buy one get one 55 minute massage. They took my friend back first who got there after me. 10 minutes later they came to get me. The masseuse told me she didn't want to rush me, but that she had another appointment at 255 so she couldn't do a full body. I was shocked because it wasn't my fault that I couldn't get a full body as I was on time. She asked me what area I wanted to have focused on. She massaged my back, my right arm, and barely my legs. I've struggled the last 20 months with stiff muscles and knots all over due to a difficult pregnancy, since I've been seeing Cho it's been an amazing change in my body, I'm no longer on so much pain, the knots are leaving, my over all health is better. I had a 6 month membership with elements and found them overall to be okay. I has the same massage therapist each time. Alex was absolutely amazing!!!! He was polite, relatively quiet and had amazing technic/pressure!! I absolutely loved me sessions. I always left relaxed and happy with his work. I wasn't a fan of the corporate membership nonsense or the higher than normal pricing. This is what lowered the stars and ultimately caused me to cancel. The membership is $70 a month plus tip for 1 - 1 hour massage which equates to 5 minutes to undress, a 50 minute massage and 5 minutes to dress. You are aloud a single free late cancellation for the whole year. I had 2 due to unforeseen circumstances over the course of 6 months. I blew a tire on my way there and a death requiring me to leave the state. They charged me on the second cancelation $70 despite the tragic circumstances. I cancelled my membership after I got back to Arizona. read more
