For a chain massage place, it's pretty solid. I did try with another provider at first who didn't work out well, but their manager was super understanding and set me up with Erin instead, who is amazing. I am LOYAL to her. She's truly gifted and I've never felt judged, rushed, or anything like that. The only thing taking them down from 5 stars to 4 is that, every time I've given anyone a gift certificate, when they've redeemed it, they've been pitched a membership and upsell. It's really tacky to do that to someone redeeming a gift and ends up cheapening the experience. If they changed that policy, I'd go back to purchasing gift certificates again. The place is clean and inviting, the temperature is perfect for a massage, and I've always been warmly greeted and welcomed, and sent off at the end. I had a membership for over 12 years, always booked 3 months ahead with the same person who was Great. Always arrived on time cancelled 3 appointments in the years I was there. Their front desk and managers was always changing from week to a month they could not keep employees. One of the reasons I left was they took automatic withdraw out my account 2X in the same month and would not creditit back, said I had to book a message, that they do not credit even it was their error. They also change their rules for getting credit for a free meassage and not telling you. They do not give anymore. They give you no bonus for being a long time member, not even a birthday meassage. Extreamly disappointed. My sister transferred her free 1hr session to me back in November of 2024. It took me 9 months to use it due to my schedule. I finally get the time to go in last night. I decided to upgrade to 1 1/2 hrs, AND upgrade to do the cupping. my massage therapist did not stop talking the entire time. Telling me about the errands he ran today, how he's certified in all these different things, how he used to work at a hair salon.... every time I would start to relax he would start talking. Adding to that, I am no expert but I don't believe the cupping was done correct. I had a manager give me a call today, no help at all. they still took my free session, made me pay for the cupping and waved my 30 extra minutes. Told me I need to just 'walk out' next time. I have been going here for close to a year now and I used to really love it. I do still love the therapists, but I'm sorry to say I won't be back due to the high-pressure sales tactics. These guys just don't take no for an answer. My last two appointments I truly felt hounded. I had to say no at least five times before they stopped asking and then gave me attitude. Not only are they persistent, but it isn't just one sales associate. Everyone behind the counter gangs up on you to try to sell a membership. The massage itself was good. However, I was significantly shorted on time. I showed up early and checked in at the front. I was waiting in the waiting room until about 15 minutes after my massage was supposed to start, when someone came out and said "oh, you're here!" I had my massage and they still ended at the original agreed upon time (so I had a shorter massage than I paid for). I was hoping I would have gotten a discount or a coupon for a future visit since I got shorted on time due to their mistake, but no such luck. I will not return to this location. I like a deep tissue massage and the therapists evening appts book up fast so I book months out in advance, I have had NUMEROUS times in the past 6 months when they cancel my appointment at the last minute and when I go to reschedule they are booked WEEKS out for an evening appointment, which I was booking a few months out at the end of each session. I THINK they cancel their monthly members if they have a higher paying client coming in. I commit my money in advance, and schedule in advance, and feel they are taking advantage of the situation and NOT showing any loyalty back to their loyal clients. read more

Don't buy a membership from this location. It finally took having the police called to receive a Cancel Membership Request Form from this location. I first called the location on Thursday May 30th and was told a manager needed to call me about cancelling the membership. I left my number with the front desk for them to return my phone call. I waited until Saturday June 1st and the front desk worker informed me that she would email it to me. Sunday, today, I called them again since I never received the form as told the day before. The girl at the front desk told me that she couldn't get the form to me. I informed the girl that I was told I can't receive it unless a manager gives authorization. I asked to speak with a manager and they weren't available. I told the girl, I will come to the location and cause a scene and she told me that she would call the police. I drove to the location which is at least a 15-20 minute drive for me. When I got there, she told me that she emailed the form to me. I wasn't satisfied and wanted her to give me the form. Well she called the police on me instead. I waited another 30 minutes for the officer to arrive and I was able to get the form. I can't believe the amount of frustration this caused me as it almost took me to contact corporate to get a simple request completed. I am outraged about the lack of customer service I received and will never again go to a Massage Envy in the future and I don't recommend going to this location. read more

Tara was super nice! I came for a massage but they have no availability so I decided to get a facial, it was a pretty basic one! I added the hand & arm enchantment but it didn't feel like it did much... Tara did well trying to apply it but I just think that shouldn't even be an option on the enchantments unless it more of a cream/ lotion consistency. I just would have loved to really get the "scrub" out of it. I love the papaya product with the slight tingle! What a great product. Absolutely love going here. Friendly staff, fair prices, clean and relaxing space, and most importantly; amazing massage therapists. I've never had a massage therapist here (I have tried almost all of them), that I didn't like. The massage therapists are all very skilled, and have their own style, yet adapt to what I need. They're great at listening and making sure you get what you need, so don't be afraid to share what works and does not work for you. Robin, Felicia, Erin, Ivelina, to name a few; they're all amazing. Today I came in very sore from a long weekend of heavy exercising and physical activities. I had a massage by Ivelina and I walked out feeling better than I could've ever imagined. WATCH OUT!! This place is a scam for your money. It's a trap as soon as you walk in. They are trained by script to answer your questions indirectly and their brochures are designed to inform you just how great their services are but hiding all the nitty gritty of hidden cost, fees, and made up rules the company has for members. You really have to READ BETWEEN THE LINES. First service is discounted. They do anything and everything you ask them too. Once you sign up and return, they will treat you like a number, and care less on how their service quality are. After repeating myself 5 plus times how unhappy I was with the staff's dishonestly and deceitfulness, they ignored everything I had to say and continued with another trained attempt to change my mind about cancelling my membership by handing me a brochure full of coupons. At this point, I asked to speak to a manager and the manager refused to come out from the back room. After about 45 minutes, the staff finally canceled my membership since it fell under the 10 day rule they had for cancellations. I had to dispute my services which took months because they refused to refund me but in the end I won the dispute and was refunded back the money they tried to over charge me for services the brochure never mentioned. My therapist was Tina - she did a marvelous facial with extra hand massage that was so relaxing. I just had a body massage with Tina and it was fantastic! Being a member, I have taken the advantage of going to different locations. I recently moved into the area and decided to try this location out. This is the third Massage Envy I have visited. When I arrived for my massage appointment, the lady at the counter had me fill out a paperwork form because it was my first time at this location. Afterwards she tells me that my therapist will be right with me. Being a member, I wasn't even invited into the relaxation room! I sat there patiently until my therapist came and got me. After my massage the lady at the front counter tells me my total, not looking or seeing that I have a couple monthly rollover sessions available. Clean, professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Everything you'd want in a business. The waiting room is very relaxing with soothing music, "fireplace" and landscape pictures on the monitor. There's a fresh clean water dispenser and cups that are larger than the normal little "one sippers". Allen is my favorite therapist, although I haven't felt the need to experience and others there. Answers questions to my satisfaction and is attentive to what my body needs in terms of pressure. The front desk staff are bright and are 'on task', not chit-chatting with each other when a customer is in front of any of them, which I appreciate. Now that's professional! In fact, talking amongst themselves even ceases when any customer is there, showing respect in that way speaks volumes. I mentioned something about the water cooler tray about to overflow and one of the gals came right over and worked on getting it cleaned up and looking nice instead of just saying something like 'I'll let someone know'. She took action. The hours of operation are very good with openings until 10 pm. I am a monthly member for about $60/month. It's an average price for an hour massage anywhere you go. Some insurance companies will pay through HSA so keep that in mind since it's wellness/therapy. Bottom line...I like this place and Allen. read more

I was very excited to get this massage. It had been a while since my last one and my shoulders and back were a wreck. I made an appointment request online for a 2 hr massage for the next day. The receptionist called me about 30 minutes later. She was able to get me in a hour later than my requested time and confirmed my 2hr treatment. I arrived at the clinic 20 minutes early and got started on my paperwork. Once finished, a nice receptionist reviewed my paperwork and made notes for my therapist. She recommended the deep tissue therapy ($12) for my shoulders and it sounded like a good idea. She took me back to the "relaxation room" to wait for my therapist. My therapist greeted me on time and took my back to the room. We reviewed my concerns and talked about my back issues and that I wanted a full body massage. Time for massage!!! It was the second worst massage I've ever received in my life. The therapist paid no attention to the muscles running down either side of my spine, or my lower back. She did the "deep tissue therapy" which consisted of hot towels, warming oil, and biofreeze. NOT WORTH 12 bucks!! The massage on the rest of my body was pretty lackluster. It felts like she was just moisturizing my skin with lotion rather that working on muscles. My sister gets my muscles better and she never went to school for this. I realize she is rushing things, missing whole areas, and not duplicating what she does on one side to the other. Then I realize, no way this is a 2hr session. Massage is over. Thank god. I get dressed and look at my phone and realize it was only an hour. Okay- that's an excuse for rushing. I go to the front desk to check out. Whoever scheduled my appointment did not schedule the 2 hours we had discussed. The receptionist did offer another hour with another therapist, but by then I was so frustrated I just wanted to leave. My goals for this massage were clear. Relaxation, stress relief, loosen up my traps and shoulders, and get a good honest run down. Needless to say, none of my goals were met. The Arrowhead clinic was listed as being the closest, so I signed up for an appointment. I have chronic muscle pain and tension in my neck and shoulders due to some underlying medical issues that I have, so massage is an essential part of my wellness routine. I have to say, I got the best massage I've ever had today. Alana has magic hands. She found the exact spots that were causing my pain and worked them out. She communicated with me every step of the way. I came in extremely stressed due to something that had happened on my way over, and she listened to me and let me talk it out. I have been here several times and finding a good massage therapist is tough. I have had many crappy experiences and yesterday was one of them. Lisa was very sweet but I had 2 issues. She talked the entire massage which seemed to cause issue #2. She spend what seemed like 1/2 of the massage just rubbing my legs up and down. Maybe the conversation distracted her. I didn't get much time spent on my back and shoulders which is the reason I came in. I'm giving 4 stars because my esthetician Eileen was PHENOMENAL!! I am also an esthetician and her facial was great! She has been an esthetician for over 40 years and hands down gave me the best facial massage I have ever had. This is by far, one if the worst massage envy locations I've ever been to, and I've visited ones in California, Texas, New Mexico, and various ones in the Phoenix metropolitan area. I was left with back spasms going in 48 hours now. I finally called them 2 days later, and their advice was Epson salt baths and stretching. As far as another massage, well... They did offer me a 1/2 massage, despite the fact that I had paid for an hour massage. When I asked that they work with my schedule, the manager told me that she was..... Really?!?! 1/2 hour massage, at their convenience?!?!?! Wow!!! I wonder how they would feel if it was their back??? My suggestion to all.... I actually Like this Massage Envy. Their new location is nice. I LOVE my therepist- Gloria. The people are friendly and the massage is fantastic. I cant see why people complain about a $40 massage the way they do... Its $40.......This is not a 5 star hotel charging you $150+ for the same service. Again. Highly recommend Gloria. She is so sweet and for being on the smaller side she sure as heck packs a punch with her massages!! They are great!! The ONLY reason im not giving 5 stars is because of the actual building. We live in such ADVANCED times and I can see why they cant insulate their rooms a little more (they just moved to this new area so its not like its an old building). Also Poor Gloria got stuck in the last room NEXT to the break room. Don't really like hearing people talking etc when i'm supposed to be relaxing (she is nice enough to close to breakroom door, but its not enough). These women are two of the best massage therapist I've encountered. And..... They always ask about pressure during the massage. I used to come to this location a lot, getting massages and facials and it was definitely worth it, up until I saw recently who this company employed as therapists. I'm a male who recently went in to get my microderm (yes men get those too) and had everything setup; however, during my first few steps into the business the atmosphere changed. I'm not one to be sexist but this is the first time I've seen a male receptionist, and it's definitely opened my eyes to what type of people they hire. Never have I seen a female worker walk away from her position due to being uncomfortable, but this guy seemed to do the trick. I'm not opposed to male receptionists but if your male staff are going to be flirting and eyeballing the women in such a manner at least put them in the back of the building. Based off the young lady's face, I'd say the feeling wasn't mutual. This fatter and bigger male was towering over this girl just sitting in a chair. I would come back, I've just found a better therapist who comes to my house and costs about the same. Long story short, weirdo upfront and decent microderm, wouldn't come back unless there was incentive and until there at least professional desk associates. My husband and I went in and I had a streto session with Oscar. He was awesome, made me very comfortable explained everything he was going to do, he did an awesome job. Only reason for 4 stars is the front desk girls weren't very inviting or friendly. First impression starts with who is working your front desk and if they make you feel welcome. Two of the 3 never even looked up and the other just seemed put out. Just didn't feel as welcome as you'd want to feel when you're about to be in a very vulnerable position with a stranger. Husband also likes Michelle (I have no personally had her) DO NOT get a massage from Erin O. Both my husband and I had her on separate occasions and she only puts her hand on you, walks around the room and huffs and puffs the whole time complete waste of money. I didn't go in for a massage, but the FACIALS ARE AMAZING! I called this morning to schedule a facial with Massage Envy and I was completely blown away. I easily made a SAME DAY appointment and had an hour facial with an esthetician named Jessica. The front office staff was extremely polite and courteous as well. Jessica was super friendly and took her time answering any and all of my questions. It was so nice to not really have to "explain" my problems. She knew exactly where my trouble areas were, the dryness and sun damage spots, and picked a facial treatment that would give me the best results. Jessica was so thorough on exactly what products would work best for my combination dry and oily skin and explained the entire process to me step by step. She left me feeling confident that my skin was going to be healthier and that the suggestions she made as far as products, would show me great improvement on my trouble areas. After my facial, I left feeling fresh, clean, and so much more relaxed, which is EXACTLY what I wanted from the visit. I will definitely be a repeat customer with Jessica for my facials from now on!
