Not a good experience at all! I went for an hour long foot massage which lasted 40 minutes. During the massage they only seemed to get the top/front of the foot and I had to ask if they massage the bottom/back of the heel. The lady who performed the massage must have been very new because it felt like I was getting scratched the entire time. We were going to get a 2 hour massage but stopped after 20 minutes. The person massaging me BARELY was rubbing my neck. It literally felt like I was getting tapped on the neck. I saw this on the internet as an introductory offer for $25 full body with clothes. (I checked the pricing once I got home and I was correct in this as the owner said I was not when he pointed at the price wall). The massage was just okay so said to leave a $5 tip. The owner laughed and said it's usually 20% which would be $8. I asked how much it was and he said $30 because full body is $5 more. I left $6 but he tried to shame me into a bigger tip as another lady said in her review. The massage was not that great so it didn't warrant 20% anyway. He added the tip into the price and left the tip space blank so that I had to scratch a line in the tip box and bring down the total so they wouldn't overcharge me. If the massage had been more relaxing I may not have even noticed. Plus (I guess this should have been first) the place was dirty. When I rolled over there was a small eye drop bottle that I thought maybe belonged to the therapist but it did not. Do they chsange these blankets? At one point I opened my eyes and could see the carpet below which looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in over a week. The chair was extremely uncomfortable. I should have gone to my usual place where I pay more and therefore tip more. It is clean and comfortable and they make an effort to keep you coming back. It's the cheapest in the valley. But you get what you pay for. It's relaxing but the massage is way too soft. It's not really a real reflexology when they don't even hit pressure points. The lady just keep on rubbing the lotion but didn't even put enough pressure. On top of it she keeps on taking 5mins breaks just to grab a warm wash cloth(I'm not exaggerating-I kept tab on the minutes). So it's not really an hour massage if you add them all up more of 45mins minutes & it's not worth the $35 plus tip that I've paid. Do not be lured in by the low price. If the service was $1.00 it would be overpriced for what you receive. Reflexology? Please! The only thing they do is repeatedly apply copious amounts of lotion. They don't even massage it in, they merely lightly run then hands over and over on your legs. No exaggeration she spent less than two minutes rubbing my feet and only did that in 5 second intervals. My wife had an appointment at the same time with the same outcome. Complained to the owner/Manager, Jimmy and he had zero concern or comment. They also did not start our appointment until 15 minutes after scheduled time and still stopped at the top of the hour. This place was fantastic!!!! I believe the price they told me was $30 but I got the medicine added (smells like mint and beauty) and that brought my price up to $35. First when I got there the mood was relaxing, dark, great music. Had a wait time about 5 min. I called ahead and made an appointment. Chairs where comfy and hugged you once you sat down. They next cover you with a towel (you do not get naked) and let your feet hang, after your body relaxes they bring out HOTTT water it feels amazing. They start with relaxing your head the man I got was wonderful, firm but gentle, and again I got the medicine so he was rubbing my whole face and pushing on pressure points I didn't even know I had. Then went to my hands, shoulders and arms, after that he went to the feet. He spent more time on the feet than anywhere els. Got in between the toes and bones. It was amazing. After the feet back to the arms and then ended with the back. Got all my knots out and he even put my hip back in place. Left there feeling like a brand new person. No more lower back pain, no more limping. Once I got home I could feel all my muscles starting to feel the burn but the medicine helps!!! Get the medicine if you're going to try this spot!!! I got a full body massage here a few times and I recommend it to friends who love it. For a $30 per hour massage it's an amazing deal. The massage is in a chair in one large room with others also getting massages, but with dividers between chairs. I enjoy each massage because they do well and they soak your feet and really work out knots and tension everywhere. So I knew I was taking a gamble coming to this place because of the mixed reviews. Unfortunately, it did not pay off this time. It's really sad because I thought the massage itself was fine. It wasn't the worst, it wasn't the best I've ever had, but I probably could have left feeling relaxed and happy. Sadly, I left feeling guilty and shamed. I've been to a couple reflexology places now so I felt I kind of knew what to expect. They seemed friendly enough at first but there were little things throughout the massage that bothered me. First, the towel that I put my feet on was kind of damp, which freaked me out because I had the impression that clean towels used for drying your feet, should be dry. So all I could think about was if they had previously used this towel on someone else before me. Then during the massage, the ladies were talking to each other while they were massaging us in Chinese, which I didn't really care for. The lady massaging me also didn't check on me and ask how I was feeling or if I needed any adjustments to pressure. For review sake, they do ask you to take off your shirts and my lady actually unclasped my bra which surprised me. You are not in private rooms and actually anyone passing, can probably see you. Even if you are covered with a towel. So just be aware of that. In general, I felt like she didn't care too much for how relaxed I was feeling and was basically just doing her job. Which is fine. The thing that really ruined it for me was that when we finished the massage, I left a 20% tip and one of the ladies massaging us made a comment "Hard work.." in like a disappointed/accusatory tone. Which implied that I was a cheap tipper. I usually do tip more but the massage wasn't mind blowing and I thought what I gave was fair for what we got. But to have the audacity to say something like that to my face for someone in a service industry... Any other person in any other massage place would get fired for that. And why? Because I'm never going to go there again. But if she hadn't said anything, and just complained about it after we had left like everyone else in the industry does, I probably might have gone back there. I do feel some empathy because it is hard work... But #rude! If they feel like they aren't being paid enough, then they should complain to the owner to raise the prices instead of forcing people to pay tips or shaming people for not tipping 40%. Been here a handful of times before, they were somewhat decent the first couple times. I believe the men put more pressure into the massages, the women, not so much. I just recently went in after a long long time of not and I had a terrible experience. Absolute waste of time and money. I asked for a full body massage and they basically did a full body half assed rub and even when I asked to put a little more pressure, it wasn't taken clearly I guess. Honestly, a homeless man at a gas station could have given me a better massage and for less. Not to mention, they try to pressure you for a longer time to pay more, absolutely ridiculous.
