Don't let the name fool you--Ming Foot Spa is so much more than just a foot spa. Their service menu is surprisingly extensive, offering a variety of treatments beyond what the name suggests. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted professionally and made to feel welcome. The exterior doesn't do the place justice. I expected a small shop, but inside I found a spacious, beautifully decorated facility with multiple treatment rooms. Everything was exceptionally clean, smelled wonderful, and created a relaxing atmosphere without feeling overdone. I booked a table massage, and it was easily a 10/10 experience. I went in dealing with significant sciatica pain, and by the time I left, about 80% of that discomfort was gone. I know the relief may be temporary, but it was incredible and provided much-needed comfort. I also had the foot detox and foot massage service, which was equally relaxing. In fact, I fell asleep during part of the treatment--that's how comfortable and peaceful it was. The pricing was very reasonable for the quality of service I received. This was my first visit because I was in the area, but I would absolutely consider returning in the future. Thank you to the staff for a wonderful experience. Massage party! We came in 7 of us with no appointment but they made it work getting us all done in 2 rounds. I had several Knots in my shoulder and the guy I had worked on the knots. By the end, my back felt so good and relaxed. One of my friends even fell asleep in the chair. The place was also very nice and clean with teas, waters and coffee. The staff is pretty friendly but they do work fast and want you to move fast. I thought it was funny when he told Us to "chop chop". If you what a deep massage, this is the place to go. If you want a spa experience, I wouldn't recommend it. read more

This continues to be the best place ever to get a massage. The owner has been the same since the very beginning of me going here the caregiving each time I I go is amazing. They have renovated and the new look is so professional spacious calming and open. I still always recommend you get the foot soak so they can map out the reflexology of your massage on the table when you're moved there. I always start out with the foot soak with Chinese herbs, you get a foot massage, ankle, massage, calf massage, and they always find the sore spots in my knee that need TLC. I am auto immune, with lots of health issues and poor lymphatic drainage and I always love getting massages because they always seem to know what's going on with my body even when I don't. They seem to follow their intuition, which has never wrong on what needs work on my body and I always feel like the clock has been turned back five years when I'm walking out. Everyone is always super polite and professional. It is run by a Chinese man and I love his knowledge and Chinese herbs and Healing. You will get Chinese tea when you walk out or when you're sitting for your foot soak. I have come here over 20 times at least by myself and with other people and all of the friends I have ever brought with me a regulars as well. Guys. I love this place. Called in the AM and made an 11am appt for a detox bath, 60 min foot massage and ended up adding a 10 min chair massage to it. This time I had the owner/main dude. I love this place because he's only seen me twice and remembers me. I love the ionic foot soak. It always does well for me and i literally FEEL it pulling the toxins out of my body. The foot massage was good. Pressure was great and he immediately could tell i was on my feet a lot (I'm a teacher) and pulled out a tool to "get in there deeper. Ha). While it's called a foot massages they technically also massage the calves. All of it was heavenly. I opted to add on a 10 min chair massage. I haven't done this at this location yet but glad i did. The chair is light and fluffy feeling when you lay on it. During the chair massage he mainly focused on my shoulders, neck and back. Which all popped and adjusted into place. Yes. He also quickly got my arms, hands and upper legs. This is a shared room massage salon. There was another gentlemen already there when i arrived and ended up falling asleep while he was getting his massages. Yet another sign of a good spot. 10/10 Mr. Ming, the owner of this quaint massage parlor, actually gave me a 90-minute massage personally (40 minute back & shoulder and 50 minute foot/reflexology). The shop is dimly lit in the back rooms where the chairs are, there are also some quick massage chairs like the 10-20 minute massage stalls you see in malls by the register in an enclosed alcove. The shop itself was playing very mellow Chinese music (classic Chinese massage parlor) and was decorated with informative charts on reflexology pressure points and their corresponding organs (part of Chinese medicine). Mr. Ming was very nice to talk with during the first half of my massage, giving me recommendations on what to do around Arizona as I'm not from here. Unlike most Chinese massage parlors, I half expected to be chastised and scorned for 1) paying with credit card and 2) paying tip through card and not over 25%. I've had this happen many times back in the Bay Area at various parlors and was used to this type of treatment. To my joy and surprise, Mr. Ming did neither and graciously accepted my card and the tip on the card as well. 10/10 would come back for his stellar service, patience, and for the lovely conversation. I love this place. The quality of the massage is amazing for the cost. The establishment is very clean and generally customer service is outstanding. However, they lost a star Sunday as I had a very stiff neck and stopped by to see if I could get 30 minutes in a chair. The lady behind the counter looked at me as if I were a disease! I requested 30 minutes and she said we have no time for you! I was not even offered an appointment time for later in the day! Just simply a "no time for you" response. Place was nearly empty. I think they should remove the "Walk-ins Welcome" sign from their door as this certainly is not the case. Meh. Me and my husband get massages regularly. We were in this side of town and they could get us in right away so we went here. They pushed some ion detox thing on us that I had no interest in. You sit with your feet in a machine for half your massage. I want someone rubbing my body not my feet sitting in a foot bath for a half hour supposedly detoxing my body. That was annoying. They didn't ask what kind of massage I want ie; hard or soft so they automatically had the guy massage my husband and the women massage me. She was way too soft. I like deep tissue and my husband likes way lighter. I wish masseuses would always ask. The place was really clean. They specialize in feet so if your going here go for feet. An amazing value!! my husband and I got the one hour combo. Started if with a foot soak with ginger/Chinese herbs, then a foot massage while seated in a comfy chair all wrapped up. Never returning. Initially went in for a foot massage and was pressured into getting the "combo" by the three employees at the front desk. The foot massage was mediocre, the man giving me my massage kept looking over to the person next to him for guidance. Definitely must be still learning or new. The worst part was the back massage. There was a language barrier but this man knew I was incredibly uncomfortable and in pain by his technique. He only used his elbows and never once used his hands while trying to massage my back. I asked for the massage to be ended a few minutes in, I was beyond ready to leave. I am now typing this review the next day, with my back pain from the "massage" I received. If you've never had the detox I recommend that it's a half hour procedure in a relaxing chair quiet room I always do the half hour foot massage and half hour on the table.
