I was dealing with a bad tension headache and desperately needed a massage. After searching on…read moreYelp, I decided to try this place. The spa is located in a large building filled with small businesses, each occupying their own room--something I've noticed is quite common in Arizona these days. I arrived a bit early and waited for about 10 minutes until I met GeAnn. I had been sitting outside of unit 4, but she asked me to wait in a different area, which is when I realized she has two rooms. At first, my impression was that she wasn't particularly friendly--she didn't smile and seemed a bit cold. However, I have to say that her massage was excellent! She applied the perfect amount of pressure and worked through a lot of the tension and knots I had. By the end of the session, when I paid her, I finally saw a smile. She may not have been warm from the start, but as a masseur, she is absolutely skilled, and that's what really matters to me.

I expected to receive a call back the next morning or sometime in the afternoon. Well dad to say, it's been 3 months and I still have not received a call. I will most definitely not recommend this place. Poor customer service. You won't even get a call back, who knows how good this place actually is. I will never know and I mostly definitely don't want to now. I will go elsewhere in the future. This is a no way for me.

I have been a Yelp member for six years and had an experience that was so outstanding that I have…read morefinally written my first review. I cannot speak highly enough about Rosie and her massage practice: Hands From Above. I moved to Arizona four years ago and never found a massage therapist I wanted to return to. Most likely it was because I was scouring Groupon for "deals" and waiting weeks for an appointment for a mediocre massage. It's true--you get what you pay for. A few months ago, I was experiencing severe muscle tightness and decided to look for a highly-reviewed massage therapist on Yelp. Rosie lived up to her rave reviews. She's a true professional and I really felt the difference after my sessions. Last week, I aggravated an old shoulder injury and lost most of the use of my right arm--and I'm right-handed. I was able to book a 6 AM appointment with Rosie and she handled the injury with expertise and care. She followed up with preventative stretches for me and gave me sound advice. Within two days, I was 90% better. By the 3rd day, there was no trace of pain in the joint and I had full use of my arm. A doctor would have given me pain pills and a sling. Rosie addressed the root cause of my issue. If you're serious about augmenting your self-care with regular massage, you owe it to yourself to be treated by the best. Make an appointment with Rosie--you won't regret it.

I know she loves receiving a massage so I was on the search for a caring therapist that would work with us. I found Gina with BluDot Massage and Bodywork here on Yelp. The entire space is welcoming and calming. Her treatment room is inviting and smells divine. When I introduced my mother-in-law to Gina, I knew instantly that she was in good hands. Gina gave my mother-in-law a fabulous custom massage-incorporating different modalities to optimize her experience. When we returned to pick up my mother-in-law, she was on cloud nine.
