I called this place after business hours in desperate need of a massage. I was pregnant and needed to find out if this was good for pregnancy as well. I knew it was after hours but I was hoping to find more info on the after hours voicemail. I was given the option to leave a message and someone would get back to me. I left a detailed message about how I was looking for a deep tissue massage and that I was pregnant and I wanted to book an appointment immediately. I expected to receive a call back the next morning or sometime in the afternoon. Well dad to say, it's been 3 months and I still have not received a call. I will most definitely not recommend this place. Poor customer service. You won't even get a call back, who knows how good this place actually is. I cannot speak highly enough about Rosie and her massage practice: Hands From Above. I moved to Arizona four years ago and never found a massage therapist I wanted to return to. Most likely it was because I was scouring Groupon for "deals" and waiting weeks for an appointment for a mediocre massage. It's true--you get what you pay for. A few months ago, I was experiencing severe muscle tightness and decided to look for a highly-reviewed massage therapist on Yelp. Rosie lived up to her rave reviews. She's a true professional and I really felt the difference after my sessions. Last week, I aggravated an old shoulder injury and lost most of the use of my right arm--and I'm right-handed. I was able to book a 6 AM appointment with Rosie and she handled the injury with expertise and care. She followed up with preventative stretches for me and gave me sound advice. Within two days, I was 90% better. By the 3rd day, there was no trace of pain in the joint and I had full use of my arm. A doctor would have given me pain pills and a sling. Rosie addressed the root cause of my issue. If you're serious about augmenting your self-care with regular massage, you owe it to yourself to be treated by the best. I've been in multiple serious car accidents and when I moved to Phoenix, I had a friend who referred me to Rosie because she was so professional. She always asks how you're feeling, what's hurting or what needs work, and is very good at what she does. I was a customer of Rosie's at her previous location, but hadn't been able to check her new digs. She's still the same amazing massage therapist! My body was pretty beat from working out and not getting massaged or realigned at all. This one visit with her and she fixed what I broke down. I like deeeeeep tissue massages and as small as she may seem, she goes through the muscle like a steam roller! For her knowledge, professinalism, and price, there is no other choice! She gives a TRUE hour massage (or whatever option you choose). She doesn't yap for 10 minutes and only massage for 30 minutes out of the hour like other places. Naturally I was a little worried because this was my first pregnancy and well I worried about everything... but Rosie was great!
