Saw a Groupon for this location, plus Groupon was extending 20% off on top, so my 90 minute massage purchase was only $51.20. Great deal. Let me start my review of my experience saying that I am a massage therapist myself & with that I am very particular. This is summer and slow season, so it's been difficult to get trades in with other therapists I know, so that was why I decided to check Groupon. I was in some pain as a result of not trading for a while. Ana was my therapist today, and let me say she is amazing at deep tissue and realignment. She's trained in many modalities and I feel like she picked me up and shook out all that ailled me today. I cannot say enough good things about her gift of massage therapy. If you want fluff, ask her before beginning, because her gift is really getting in and fixing your problem areas. The only thing not getting a 5 star rating - time. I was scheduled for 90 and got closer to 80. She had picked me up a few minutes late, we spoke for a couple minutes, then she left the room so that I could undress & get on the table. She was gone for a few minutes. So when she was getting started in was almost 10 minutes into the appointment time, and she ended a few minutes early too. I get it as an LMT, hands-on time is generally cut a few minutes short due to talking and getting on/off table, but not 10 + minutes short in my experience. Overall, I would still go see her again. She was THAT good. When booking again, I would mention the time issue. But, for today, she did what I needed and the deal I got, I am not complaining! read more

I like Elements, but really like my massage therapist, Adriana. She's busy and it is sometimes hard to get in on short notice, but she is fantastic. This was my first time at a membership massage place. I wanted to give it a try. It is nice and clean and relaxing. Front desk gal was pleasant. That's where it ends. I felt my therapist rushed through the whole session. Yes, I was her last client, but that is not a reason to rush. I felt her technique was quite sloppy. I'm no stranger to massage. I go quite often and I know a good massage when I get one. This had to be one of the worst. She seemed disinterested in working out the kinks in my muscles. She was not as perceptive as some other therapists I've had in the past. And she seemed much more interested in striking up conversation than paying attention to loosening up my tight muscles. Elements was my first experience of a massage therapist charging for services in advance of the appointment and as a condition of scheduling. I was told that Elements would not schedule an appointment without a credit card on file, and that it would be charged if I failed to appear. This is an uncommon practice even among doctors and lawyers. Conversely, (as indicated in other reviews) there is no guarantee that the massage will begin on time or be satisfactory. The policy strikes me as a typical "big business" template that is likely as hard on the therapists staffing the facility as it is on customers. I'll opt to use local "non-corporate" massage talent rather than the pecuniary franchise or corporate model offered by Elements. read more

Oh my! I've had a membership at the "Other Massage Place" for almost a year now & I have never had a massage even come close to the one I had at Elements Massage. Talk about gearing my massage toward my injuries & illnesses. I had severe congestion which I had been on meds as well as a nebulizer when I went in to Elements and Daniel did some firm rapping movements on the back of my chest to attempt to loosen the phlegm, Needless to say I was highly impressed and grateful. Daniel, my massage therapist was AMAZING!!!!!! I wish I lived in the Phoenix area but alas I was only there for a brief visit sadly. Because if I lived in Phoenix, I would not go anywhere else to relieve my stress and tension in my muscles. I was scheduled with Haydee and I will definitely be asking for her from now on. She listened to exactly what I needed, a little bit of everything but mainly focusing on my upper back as I have been in pain for months due to my desk job. She gave me exactly that. I left so happy! Jessica is hands down the best massage therapist I've seen! She is tiny looking but mighty. I love that she listens to my concerns and is also able to hone in on areas I didn't even realize needed attention. She also is not over talkative unless you strike up conversations with her and she never removes her hands from you when massaging, hard to find someone like her! She's the reason I signed up to treat myself for monthly massages. I've been seeing her for months now and plan on continuing. If I could make one suggestion it'd be to have the company provide hot towels for clients upon request for use on our feet during the summer months especially with all the flip flop wearing. I don't normally do reviews, but felt I needed to share this so others are informed. I called Elements Massage to schedule a massage during a golf trip one month out. I was surprised to learn that they were thin on available appts even that far out. I ended up agreeing on one that would require some moving things around on my calendar. All was good...until I received my confirmation text of the appt. I replied confirming it. I immediately received a phone call from Elements Massage telling me that they had somehow double booked and needed to shorten my appt from 90 mins to 60 mins and push the appt time out by 30 mins. I wasn't happy with this development to say the least. After all I had to do to schedule it and now I'm expected to rearrange my calendar again this late in the game. I think NOT. No way to do business Massage Elements! Shame on you for waiting to tell me 2 days out. Doubt I'll find another massage appt elsewhere this close to my trip. read more

Overal a nice and easy experience. Called in after getting a gift card from work. The receptionist was sweet, they had convenient availability, male and female therapist (for those who have a preference) and she wasn't annoyed with me after I called back 30 seconds later to move up appointment. The studio was relaxing and clean, and my therapist Cindy was right on time. Cindy was very good, she started with light pressure and wasn't afraid to really work out those knots when I asked her to go deeper. Although many therapist always seem afraid to hurt me even when asking for deep tissue Cindy wasn't afraid leave me sore but feeling relaxed. Let me start by saying I am fairly picky about my massages, I have had my fair share due to chronic back pain from my career choice. I called the day of to see if they had any appointments available, to my surprise they were able to get me scheduled for a 90 minute massage! I showed up 30 minutes early, to fill out paperwork, and was brought back right away! I had Kim as a massage therapist and she was fantastic. She really listened to my areas of concern and throughout the whole massage focused on those areas. She found knots in areas I didn't even realize were causing my discomfort (like my elbows and wrists). I have also never had a massage therapist focus on my glutes so much either, it was fantastic. Apparently I had tension there causing back pain as well. The entire massage was so relaxing, and I got my full 90 minutes worth. What impressed me was at the end of the massage she spent another few minutes explaining what she did and gave me "post-op" instructions. I am always skeptical with corporate massage places because of bad experiences I have had with another company. But with my experience here, I can totally see myself coming back, and maybe even investing in the membership! read more

GREAT! I visited on 01.24.17 and had a 90 minute massage session with Luis who was AMAZING! I moved to Phoenix from Denver where I got massages on a regular basis (3 times a month on average). Luis is at the top of the list of therapist I've had over the years. He was polite, just the right amount of conversation, very thorough in his techniques and checked on how I was feeling regarding the pressure several times. The facility is great - nicely decorated, large and very clean. The ladies at the desk were very friendly and engaging. Like everyone else, I am a picky massage customer, and like almost everyone else, I did this through a Groupon. Most massages are too "frou-frou" for me, so I set myself up for the deep tissue massage. My therapist was Valerie, and I did NOT think she talked too much at all. She is not a large person, but I did not realize how strong. She worked me over big time and was very persistent in working out the knots. Knots I didn't even know I had. My partner and I went in yesterday and I have to say it was by far, the most lackluster massage I've ever had. Poor Service ! I got a groupon as a gift for my wife to use at this location . She called in for an appointment few days back , clearly mentioning that she had a groupon and would like to use it . The receptionist got her name and made an appointment in their system . Today , my wife went to the store and while checking in ,again told the receptionist that she will be using groupon for payment . Again the receptionist was fine with that and says go ahead for the massage . Once the massage is over , the receptionist now says that the groupon can be used only for new customers !!! Didnt they know my wife was a returning customer when she made the appointment ! or when she checked in ! ? If they told that the groupon cannot be used while making the appointment or while checking in , my wife would not have gone ahead with the massage . What kind of deceptive practices will they run to get your business ! Worst of all , the owner/manager of the place was extremely rude and insulting to my wife , when my wife explained to the owner that their receptionist had not told that the groupon cannot be used while making the appointment . How is the employee actions not an employer responsibility ? The owner/manager said the employee will be dealt with ! Imagine that ! Therapists are good, but the management sucks. First time I went I was asked to sign up for a membership of $59 per month if I wanna use it every month. I felt it was a real good deal and I did sign up. After three months of charging my card and two cancelled appointments they tell me I am being charged for not showing up for the appointment. I was so damn furious, I asked them why didn't anyone tell me about the cancellation fee when I was signing up and they simply said it was on the paper you signed up. I am like who reads that. I lady who spoke to us while signing up told us about the payment procedure and if we ever decide to cancel the membership we should give one month notice. No one ever mentioned that if you miss your appointment we will fucking rip you for $60 for making us book the appointment. I mean, how hard is it to mention that there will be a cancellation fee??? They played really well and I lost $180 that's three months for nothing. I cancelled my membership with them. The therapists might be good, But I just hate people with cheap tricks to pull people to sign up and hiding the clauses. read more

Jennifer is by far the best masseuse I've ever had. In fact, I've gotten my friend to utilize her exclusively as well. Her therapeutic massages are the best I've ever had. She's corrected my stiffness in my neck I've had for a few years and has worked out my shoulder tightness too.
