But then she brought on another massage therapist, Aaron. After Sawanna told me how great Aaron is, I knew I had to try him. He is AMAZING! Aaron used a variety of different approaches to get to my deep knots in my back: massage, cupping, and even an electric massager that looked like a drill and felt like heaven. I am an athlete and I work at my desk 8-10 hours a day, so I get some serious issues in my back. Aaron didn't miss a step jumping right in there. He pulled out the big guns (I mentioned the electric contraption, right?!) and left me feeling like I'd had a great workout: a little sore but mostly relaxed and ready for the next thing. Ladies, if you haven't had a male massage you, you need to try. Aaron was extremely professional and, given that he's male, very strong. He is clearly experienced and touched base with me throughout to ensure I was okay, comfortable, and he was applying the right amount of pressure. It is located in a busy shopping plaza but there was plenty of parking available. When I got there I was greeted by Kayla who showed me around and explained the process to me. This wasn't my first time getting a detox as I usually do them a couple times a year but this is the first time since moving to AZ. They offer other services such as tanning, facials, waxing etc. I appreciate that they didn't try to force buying any products or services on you. The process was painless and took only 30 minutes. I will be back for more foot detox's and to try some of their other services.

At checkout, the front desk employee, Nicole, immediately became argumentative instead of helpful. I provided my email, my phone number, my daughter's email, two additional phone numbers, and even spelled the emails out twice. I repeatedly asked for one minute to search my records, and she would not stop interrupting or pressing me. She insisted they "only issue physical gift cards," which was not how mine was purchased. The interaction became confrontational and unprofessional. Eye-rolling, dismissive tone, and refusal to simply pause and look further created an unnecessarily hostile situation. Instead of leaving relaxed after a 90-minute massage, I left feeling pressured and upset. I ultimately paid again just to get out of the building. What makes this worse is that the moment I got to my car, my daughter immediately located the purchase confirmation under the exact email I had provided -- meaning the credit did exist exactly as I said. It is extremely disappointing when the quality of the service inside the room is undone by poor customer service at the front desk. Basic patience and professionalism would have solved this in under a minute. Instead, it turned into an avoidable negative experience.

The second day I went to the larger part of the spa and had a one hour massage with April. This was fantastic. Both days I had full access to all the facilities for no upcharge. There were waterfalls, water therapy and a large rooftop pool. It was chilly out, but many of us braved the chill in our oversized robes in an attempt to soak up some sun by the pool. I got some sun on my legs for a good 20 minutes. Brrrrr! The second day I had a generously sized fruit salad pool side. I loved the eucalyptus towards the end of the massage and my feet felt baby soft and clean after the foot scrub. The amenities are fabulous. The lavender meditation room is under rated. The aroma is subtle and fresh, cool temperature and dim lighting. Feels calm and not many people use it. A nice place to reset and calm your mind.
