But then she brought on another massage therapist, Aaron. After Sawanna told me how great Aaron is, I knew I had to try him. He is AMAZING! Aaron used a variety of different approaches to get to my deep knots in my back: massage, cupping, and even an electric massager that looked like a drill and felt like heaven. I am an athlete and I work at my desk 8-10 hours a day, so I get some serious issues in my back. Aaron didn't miss a step jumping right in there. He pulled out the big guns (I mentioned the electric contraption, right?!) and left me feeling like I'd had a great workout: a little sore but mostly relaxed and ready for the next thing. Ladies, if you haven't had a male massage you, you need to try. Aaron was extremely professional and, given that he's male, very strong. He is clearly experienced and touched base with me throughout to ensure I was okay, comfortable, and he was applying the right amount of pressure. Don't let her height fool you. I've had MANY massages throughout L.A., often requesting a deep tissue style performed by a male masseuse (for strength)-- BUT Christina's technique, strength and stamina TOPS THEM ALL. She is strong! I asked her to focus on my shoulders and upper back area AND to "bring it" when it came to intensity level. I requested that "...on a scale of 1 to 10, to please give me an 11." Well, I almost cried at one point, she leaned in and the resulting intensity hurt so good...she gave me a 15! I'm embarrassed to say I even giggled at one point when she leaned in on my quadriceps because it felt ticklish---THAT was a first for me. She explained my reaction was due to my quad muscles being tight. She knows her stuff! Did I say she was amazingly strong and methodically thorough? I needed 5 minutes to myself on the table just to recover! The only negative I could find was that I noticed I did not receive a full hour. Seems from previous reviews that timing may be an issue here. She might have completed my massage at the 50 min mark since I was dressed and ready to go at 11:55 (yes, I looked at their clock)...I forgive her though since my massage was AMAZING...so much so that I didn't feel like I was shortchanged on time at all. Christina is THAT GOOD. I am now a fan! How much so? I WOULD DRIVE THRU 30 MINUTES OF TRAFFIC JUST TO GET ANOTHER DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE BY CHRISTINA.....lol. Thank you again for exceeding my expectations. Came back an hour later for my facial. The table I laid on was pleasantly heated and Sarah Joe did her thing. She has a gentle touch.
