My first visit was about 4 weeks ago for my first body wax in a semi sensitive area and it was with a person who was very nice and understanding and kept me distracted by asking very social questions about what to watch on tv and movies and that type of thing and the appointment went great at the end of the appointment in the lobby she was able to recommend a product for me to use which I bought and have been using since. I scheduled a follow up appointment for another area of the body that was much more sensitive and would probably be more painful. The day before my appointment I received a message that my original waxer was no longer with the salon and I was being rescheduled for the same time with a different person, which was fine with me. My wax appointment took place today and I came away very disappointed with the experience. I had explained to the waxing specialist that this was my first time waxing that body area and that I was very new to body waxing, and in general. I was shocked at how painful the waxing was but to make it worse the waxy specialist did a sales job on their products the entire time I was there, which made it even more stressful and completely ruined the experience for me and cured me from wanting me to go back to that location. It is not necessary to force feed a sale talk when someone is getting a service. Not only did I not get any product but I didn't book any future appointments.

But then she brought on another massage therapist, Aaron. After Sawanna told me how great Aaron is, I knew I had to try him. He is AMAZING! Aaron used a variety of different approaches to get to my deep knots in my back: massage, cupping, and even an electric massager that looked like a drill and felt like heaven. I am an athlete and I work at my desk 8-10 hours a day, so I get some serious issues in my back. Aaron didn't miss a step jumping right in there. He pulled out the big guns (I mentioned the electric contraption, right?!) and left me feeling like I'd had a great workout: a little sore but mostly relaxed and ready for the next thing. Ladies, if you haven't had a male massage you, you need to try. Aaron was extremely professional and, given that he's male, very strong. He is clearly experienced and touched base with me throughout to ensure I was okay, comfortable, and he was applying the right amount of pressure.
