She has a true gift for healing, and I felt that from the moment my session began. Her facility is cozy, clean, peaceful, and welcoming. She brought comfort, healing, and peace when I truly needed it. I only wish I could pack her up and take her home with me! Since my husband and I will be traveling to Arizona frequently, I am so thankful to say I have found my healing angel at 33 North Massage. If you want a same-day appointment for a relaxing, no-frills massage, go for it. I was looking for…read moremore hence this mediocre rating for Lemon Tree Massage. My body is well past using massage therapy for pampering; I need it for relief from aches and pains. Out of desperation, I walked into Lemon Tree Massage for a same-day, 90-minute upper body massage. My shoulders and neck were feeling like concrete and they hurt. My massage therapist was very friendly, but she was not an expert in muscle anatomy. Therefore, the massage was not as helpful as I needed it to be. I paid $100 for a 90-minute massage plus a 20% tip. I tipped her for her effort and professionalism even though I left disappointed. She checked in throughout the massage for desired pressure, but she was definitely more accustomed to massage for relaxation versus therapeutic relief. A few more notes...There was no table warmer, which was fine by me, but you get the gist this is a no-frills experience. There is no neck cradle on the massage table; you're given a donut pillow. This place is located in the shopping center next to the Home Depot.

Perk Alert: didn't realize that the Recovery Room (compression, sauna, cold plunge, etc.) is included with each massage. He also strategically used hot stones on those Tender Points, which loosened them up. I also just got a much needed massage from Nicky who is stellar! She delivered a combo of flowy Swedish w/ Deep Tissue. I appreciate how she honed in on trigger points on my back & worked them out. She's also open to me asking questions about what she's working on b/c I'm curious. Much appreciated! That's the thing - all the therapists can read the body & then cater your massage to what you specifically need. They're not giving cookie cutter massages (the same massage to everyone). All are well versed in anatomy & thus, know how to identify "problem" areas & address them. Thanks Active Bodyworx!
