I have nothing but great things to say about Victoria. She was professional, friendly, and made me feel very comfortable. I could tell that she really knew what she was doing. As a hairstylist, my back, neck, and shoulders are always extremely tight and she really worked out my knots. This is also a great place to go if you are pregnant. Returned again tonight and once again was extremely pleased. This time I had the pleasure of being massaged by Jessi and I was very sad when the session was over because it just was not long enough! This was the first time in my pregnancy I had to use the pregnancy cut outs on the bed and she was so courteous and patient to help me get comfortable and adjust it to accompany my body. I did not feel rushed to get comfortable or scared to speak up as Jessi encouraged me to do so. She made me feel so relaxed and had the warmest welcoming energy. Jessi did an amazing job and truly embraced and conquered the stress and tension points in my pregnant body leaving me feeling absolutely refreshed. I definitely can not wait to see her again! I love this place, I have been here 6-7 times, I have fibromyalgia so I try to get good massage in every now and then. Like Mike M. and Jess J., I also purchased gift cards they would not honor. I was also told they didn't show it in their computer. If I wanted to use the cards I would have to show proof I purchased the cards. I was told if I used the cards they wouldn't honor them. I planned to give them to family and friends as gifts. How embarrassing this would be if, given as a gift, my family/friend would be told they aren't any good. Poor management. I talked to Mike, the owner, and was not able to get anywhere with him. I finally told him I would rather spend my time and energy letting others know how wrong this is, how wrong I was treated. Victoria is whom I had my massages from. She is absolutely caring and wonderful. I feel bad I won't be seeing her anymore. Yes, they have lemon water and cookies when you arrive. The ambiance is really nice and inviting. But when it comes to MY money and being treated like I did...no thank you. This place is TRASH. I scheduled a 90 minute hot stone massage the night before with a girl who seemed competent at what she does for a living, I would soon find out that she was not. I went to my massage, got there early to fill out paperwork. Everything was fine in the beginning. I met with my massage therapist and undressed for the massage. She began my massage with decent medium pressure, but after a while I thought "when are the hot stones coming into play?". So I asked her when she would incorporate them into the massage. She stated she didn't know that I wanted the hot stones as they were not on the paper work. I told her I scheduled the hot stones with the receptionist the night before. She left and retrieved the hot stones.... which I ended up wishing I never even asked for because after she began to use them, my massage was basically just an oil rub down with heat. Whatever... so I get done with the massage and go to the reception desk to pay and I thought I would just forget about the things I didn't like about the massage and tip her well anyway. UNTIL, the receptionist started having issues with my gift card that I was gifted. I was told that the 90 minute massage was $109 the night before when I booked. While she was trying to run my gift card for $100 she couldn't figure out why it wasn't working. The other and what seemed like more veteran receptionist stated it was because she was putting in my full total of $134 dollars on the gift card not the $100 and to collect the $34 from me on a different card. I halted because I was only supposed to owe $9 dollars plus whatever I tipped. The newer girl who was running my card stated that she told me last night on the phone about the $25 dollar up charge for hot stones. I told her there was a ZERO PERCENT chance she told me about the upgrade because I did not want to spend much more than what was on my $100 gift card. She repeatedly lied and stated that she did tell me about this. WHICH SHE DID NOT. LISTEN TO THE RECORDED PHONE CALL. The more veteran receptionist said they would take the $25 dollars off today and I stated IT SHOULD BE TAKEN OFF ANYWAY because the massage therapist didn't even get the damn hot stones until I REMINDED HER. IT WAS A SHIT SHOW. I was embarrassed by the two receptionists after I was already pissed off that I basically just got an hour and half oil rub. DON'T GO HERE. The waiting room is too damn small as well and everyone waiting can hear your conversations. TRASH TRASH TRASH TRASH TRASH!!!!! I'M PISSED. I was looking forward to this massage after working my ass off and finally finishing my masters degree, I'm so MAD I wasted my $100 gift card that I got from family for a present on this place. read more

The following is a letter I wrote to the owner: I work for _ and I am writing to you about my recent experience with the Elements on val vista and chandler blvd. As you know, _ gives out gift cards to your val vista location to both patients and employees alike for various reasons. I received two 30 min gift cards as a prize from one of our recent events and decided to give them to my sister for her 40th birthday. I was planning a party for her, and it seemed like a very nice way to get her out of the house so I could decorate. I called to make an appointment and booked the couples room, so that she and one of her friends could chat while they got a massage. I then received a call informing me that in order to get a couples massage I had to book at least an hour massage for each. I was a little annoyed that I wasn't informed of this when I made the appointment, but I agreed and paid for them both to have an hour massage as well as included a $10 tip ($89 total). My sister's friend got food poisoning and was unable to go, so I called and informed the office that her husband would be going with her instead. At no point during any of these calls, was I either informed or reminded that they would need to be there 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork. My sister and her husband arrived, albeit five minutes late, only to be told that they had to fill out paperwork and that they would only be getting a 30 minute massage. Despite the fact that; I had paid for them to get a full hour, and that the office was basically empty. No refund was offered. Needless to say, they left. That was last Sunday. Since then I have called, practically every day, to talk to the manager and get a refund. I was told repeatedly by your staff that the manager was, "unavailable". The manager finally called me back on Thursday, but I missed the call and have not been able to get a hold of her since then. During my calls, I repeatedly told two of your staff (Asia and Danielle) that I wanted a refund, but neither of them ever offered to help me. As it stands now, it has literally been a week and I have yet to talk to the manager or get a simple refund. So, not only was my sister's birthday present ruined; the "customer service" we received has been absolutely abysmal. It is sad to say, but my only option at this point seems to be to stop payment. After this, I can honestly say that I will never go to an Elements again and if given a gift card; I will simply give it back. read more

I have been a member of Elements for several years. I have never had a bad massage there and they can always accommodate me and my schedule. Most recently I have been going between 2 therapists because they are both awesome. This morning I woke up unable to turn my head without horrible neck and back pain. I called at 8:30 am and they were able to get me in at 10 with one of my favorites...Victoria. Victoria gave me a very therapeutic massage focusing on the areas of pain. She checked with me often during the massage to make sure the pressure she was using was appropriate. As I sit here typing this review I feel 1000% better than I did when I woke up this morning and I owe it to Victoria. She is an amazing massage therapist and I highly recommend her! I used to love this place. I have been a regular customer for the 5 years or so. Not sure what has happened but it seems impossible to get an appointment during weekends (only time I can do it). Impossible to get with my preferred therapists! Twice in the last 8 months my appointment has been canceled about 3 hours before my scheduled time (if I canceled, I would be charged, but they am cancel anytime they want!). I have the wellness program and I can't use it if I can't get in on weekends! Some of front desk girls have been rude and made mistakes on appointments. Now if I cancel my membership I only have 1 month to use my massages! I have been switching to Massage Envy and will be canceling my membership once I can use some of the massages I have on file and maybe try another location! read more

Absolutely amazing experience! Loved every second of it! From the moment you walk in they make you feel like a priority and get your paper work done and get you taken back right away! The massage itself was fabulous! Just the right amount of pressure and focus on each area! There was a little bit of confusion when I was leaving I had told the woman over the phone when I booked a session that I had a free 30 massage card and that was all I was looking for, I also told the massage therapist prior to starting the session, when I was finished I looked at the time and noticed it had been an hour and was surprised but not worried because I had now mentioned the massage card twice. when it was time to tip and pay they had tried to charge me the $40 up charge for the extra hour I then had to re-explain that I had mentioned it twice to which they were very understanding and actually told me they will take care of it and not worry about it! Which was awesome and I am so happy about! Will absolutely be returning in a few weeks! read more
