I've been a member at Elements Massage Gilbert for several years now. I've been to several therapists, but Janelle is my favorite, as she really helps with my multiple conditions (Hashimoto's Thyroditis, Fibromyalgia, Osteoarthritis, Degenerative Disc Disease, etc.). She works on what areas I need work on, (after she asks, every single time) and also adjusts her pressure based on how things are feeling, which is so important with Fibromyalgia, in particular. Janelle is knowledgeable with therapy tools, and has suggested things that I have purchased online that have really helped with my healing. She also listens and talks as little or as much as I like, which varies from session to session. Elements has a very zenlike feeling in the entire place, and the individual rooms are spotless and also very quiet. Soft music is playing, rooms are dimly lit, massage tables are generous in size and heated, if that is desired. I leave feeling so relaxed that I don't want to do anything for the rest of the day! The only problem I see with her is that there's only one Janelle, no way to clone her or take her home with me! read more

Just got a yelp account so I could say how much I like this place. In the past I have had masseuse at other venues complain to me about their working environment, multiple times, at multiple places. All employees at Elements enjoy their jobs and give massages for more than relaxation but for the medical benefits. As a professional dancer I have herniated my L4 three times in my career and they always make sure to thoroughly realign the muscles and explain to me stretches and techniques to prevent future injuries. This is also the first time in my life I haven't just grouponed the cheapest massage around me but became a member. I see reviews on here saying the front desk workers tried to upsale them by becoming a member. If these people had given the respect to listen, it's free to become a member and you get a discount! The automatic charge to my account encourages me to make massages and taking care of my body a priority. I enjoy the flow, vibe, energy and feel spiritually recharged every visit. It's also really well priced. I obviously enjoy this place and look forward to the start of each month. Plus they have lemon water and cookies. I mean come on. that's great! read more

Im giving a two because me and my Husband got two therapist that need some more training..Been to Elements Massage and had no problem with another location and been getting massages for years.. I left with more tightness in neck and felt nothing was done.. Me and husband looked at each other and just shook our heads at sametime. I was thrilled that they were able to fit me in for a "next day" appointment. They used all of the appropriate COVID guidelines to make customers fell safe and comfortable. The massage I received from Naomi was excellent. She constantly checked to make sure the pressure was perfect for me and was able to reduce pressure in sensitive areas without it being obvious that she was changing the technique. I had a 90 minute massage on the first day they reopened and it was fantastic! The young ladies at the reception desk were extremely kind and very polite. The massage therapists themselves are awesome but I don't like the structure. As a member, I have one massage per month for $69 and I pay extra to have it be a 90-minute but it usually is only 75 minutes. In addition to that, one of the biggest things for me when looking for a massage place to give my monthly membership fees to was flexibility because my job is so up in the air that I need to reschedule the day before and I get charged for that? But the thing that was made me decide to end my membership is the fact that they have COVID guidelines and we have to sign an agreement saying we are not Covid symptomatic and then get our temperature taken. Which is fine, I get the business is protecting themselves so this morning I woke up with a slight fever and texted them to inform them of that and that I was getting a COVID test and asked to reschedule for when I got my results to ensure it was negative. They said yes but they were charging me a $35 cancellation fee? How does that make sense? IT IS YOUR RULE THAT I AM FOLLOWING AND I AM GETTING CHARGED? Doesn't make sense at all. read more

I have been coming here for a while now. I have had a couple different therapists and everyone has been awesome!. The last few times has been with Janelle and she too is amazing. Today is the first time I did a morning appointment. I am not a morning person but I may be now. I have never felt so energized afterwards. My therapist was amazing! However, the manager/owner is a horrible business man. He is a bad communicator and doesn't educate/train/coach his front office staff to manage the business effectively. There was a special, for 2 massages for $99. I bought a total of 4 massages. I received paper gift cards for these massages. I gave one out as a gift and used the other two myself. Each time we went to redeem the gift cards (including the gift to a friend), there was a problem. It had something to do with the way the front desk issued the cards. Luckily, I was able to use them, but they were quite a pain and time consuming. I heard from a friend, that she had a similar experience with the gift cards, however, in her case, they would not honor the cards!! I'm glad I didn't have the same experience, as I paid with cash and didn't save the receipt. I would have been out $200. There is no difference between Elements Therapeutic Massage and Massage Envy. The same monthly membership, same strip mall massage experience. I will not be going back to Elements Therapeutic based on the owner's dealings with the clients. Based on these interactions with clients, I'm aware of a total of 3 people that will be ending their membership. That's over $2000 a year in revenue this office is losing because of $300 dispute (let's be honest, that $300 really only cost management $150-200). I would rather just go to Massage Envy where there are more locations. In this case, you get what you pay for and I would just rather take my money where I'm appreciated. read more

I've been to much better spas that offer a better ambiance. I've been back a few times, but am always put off by the gratuity guides all over the reception area and in the massage rooms. I've also had them quote me a price on the phone and try to charge more in person. I questioned them about it and was given wishy washy reasons why I was charged more. I tried Elements Massage for the first time and have a very good massage. I liked that they did not use aromas as they give me a headache. The bed was comfortable which is very important to me as I had scoliosis and it hurts to lay down. The intro price was a bonus.
