Came for Moab. Stayed for the PILLOWS. This hotel is a total win. The pillows were so good I literally went home and ordered them online. Best sleep we've had in ages--no exaggeration. The vibe hits the moment you walk in: warm, welcoming, and well cared for. The general manager was genuinely kind and helpful (which feels rare these days). Our room? A huge king suite with tall ceilings--spacious, spotless, and surprisingly quiet even though we were right next to the elevators. Any hallway noise was barely a whisper. The shower deserves its own shoutout: tall, plenty of room, and gloriously warm water. Perfection after cold winter days outside. Location is another huge plus. Super close to the National Park entrances, which made daily adventures quick and easy. We visit Moab in the winter, and there is nothing better than coming back frozen and having the room already cozy and warm every single day. Cons (very minor): During our stay, they were painting the opposite side of the hotel, so there was occasionally a strong paint smell in the lobby. We were warned ahead of time, and honestly--off-season is the smartest time for renovations, so no hard feelings. Breakfast was... fine. You order hot items from the kitchen (cheese omelet, scrambled eggs, turkey or chicken sausage, hashbrowns or battered potatoes). The potatoes sat out a bit too long and were dry, and the eggs were a little bland--but they do offer plenty of fixings (salsa, Tapatío, Cholula, salt & pepper). That said, the yogurt bar? Excellent every time. And having breakfast included--especially with some healthier options--saved us money and time, which I always appreciate on a trip. Bottom line: Comfortable, clean, quiet, great staff, amazing sleep, and an ideal Moab location. I'd absolutely stay here again--and I'll be thinking about those pillows until then. read more

We stayed here for two nights as Marriott members and chose this hotel because it's pet-friendly, it was only an additional $50 for our dog for the entire stay. The location is perfect for visiting Arches National Park, just a quick 5-7 minute drive from the main entrance. Our room was spacious with a king bed and a full kitchen. Breakfast was included and offered turkey sausage patties, eggs, hash browns, yogurt, cereal, toast, coffee, and juice. Coffee and tea were also available all day in the lobby. I only wish we'd had time to enjoy the hot tub! The price was incredibly reasonable, and I'd definitely stay at Element Moab again. read more

Spent a couple night in Moab. Came to see Arches National Park. This location put us close to that. The place is new, clean, and well designed. It's got a great location of view of the mountains. The lobby is spacious, has a bar, and small restaurant (where they server a hot breakfast - free). They have juice and flavored water available all day long - free. Outside they have a pool, and hot tub. There are chairs and towels available. A few of the areas have mattress or tables that are shaded. It's very nicely laid out. Our room was a suite, which included a separate living space, and full kitchen. The room was set up great, and everything was clean and tidy. Really liked it alot. The price was reasonable, and we felt it was a good value for all the amenities. read more

We stayed at the Element after a very long day of travel and it was the best decision we made. The property is super clean, the rooms were big and spacious for us and our dog. In the morning the breakfast was good and the best part is the proximity to the park itself which is like 8 minutes? Had a great stay at Element Moab--modern, clean rooms with spacious layouts and a well-equipped kitchen made it easy to relax after exploring Arches and Canyonlands. The staff was friendly, breakfast was tasty with plenty of options, and the outdoor pool and hot tub were a nice bonus. However, I'm docking one star for the noise: soundproofing is poor for a newer hotel. I could hear people walking above, TVs and conversations from neighboring rooms, and hallway noise, which made it hard to fully unwind. If you're a light sleeper, bring earplugs or request a top-floor room. Otherwise, a solid choice for the area with great amenities and location. read more

This location has tied up $2300 on two different cards for a $337.40 4 night stay. A week after checking out I still have $800 held up on two different cards. I have when told that they have done everything they can do that it's my bank's fault to contact them. Both banks have stated that they have never received the notice from the hotel. I started trying to rectify this since Jan 31st and my final bill was paid on Feb 4th. Now a week later I'm being told to just wait until it automatically falls off on the 17th. I was charged more than my stay before I even walked in the door to check in and all I wanted to do was use a different card than what I held the reservation with. read more

We were passing through Moab as part of a longer road trip for a friend that was moving. We arrived super late at night and were tired and very pleasantly surprised by how nice and new the room was. There was plenty of space and had we realized it was a full fridge and weren't so tired, we could've brought up all the coolers and actually put stuff away. Also I liked how the bathroom sort of separated the living space from the bedroom area even though it's still open plan it gives it a little separation They also do have electric chargers in the front near the lobby doors. We liked the Element so much we decided to to prioritize the Element brand in the future. read more

I spent a couple pleasant nights at this hotel while hiking in Arches National Park. The hotel is only five miles from the entrance to Arches. It is located in the northern edge of Moab. This is a very clean and well maintained hotel with lots of parking. It has a full sized swimming pool and hot tub. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. They have a very nice complimentary breakfast with freshly made scrambled eggs, pancakes and sausages. They also have a full bar that offers sandwiches and burgers. My room was a single King suite that was very spacious and well appointed. The wifi connection was strong. I had only a couple minor complaints. The ceiling on this hotel seemed to be a bit thinner than other hotels as I could clearly hear the upstairs guests walking around their room. When I checked in I advised the clerk I had a Marriot Bonvoy gift card I wanted to apply to my bill. She said they would be glad to accept it when I checked out and made a note on my bill that I would be using it. But when I checked out a different clerk apologized and said they could not apply it to my bill. I don't understand what the problem was but was disappointed they didn't do as promised. read more

Very spacious and clean rooms. The pool area was huge with 2 hot tubs and lots of chairs. There is also a fire pit! The breakfast is probably the best included hotel breakfast I've had. A rotating egg/bread option (ex tacos, English muffin, pancakes) and the eggs tasted fresh not like the carton eggs at a lot of places as well as a yogurt bar, cereal/oatmeal, and toast/bagels and fresh fruit. The bar and lounge was a plus. The food was good and reasonably priced. The location was also perfect for getting into downtown Moab and out to the national parks. After driving 5 hours I found that my reservation was cancelled at noon earlier in the day. The note on my cancellation said the credit card on file was declined and the attempt to call the phone number went to a disconnected line. Neither the credit card number nor the phone number matched the credit card or phone number on my reservation confirmation or the credentials previously on my account as I had stayed at this hotel before! An employee had deliberately changed my information in order to cancel my reservation. I had received emails concerning my reservation every day for the past 3 days but no email with the cancellation. Extremely unprofessional! We stayed at Element hotel for 3 nights in the middle of summer (June 2024). Canyon checked us in and was very helpful and shared all the info we needed about complimentary breakfast and pool details. It is dog-friendly but we didn't see too many people with dogs. The location is close enough to town but closer to the parks and trails we wanted to do. Our room was huge and felt clean. It was quiet, the AC worked as expected and we had a beautiful view from the northwest side of the hotel. This is an extended stay, so room service only comes after 3 nights, which wasn't a problem at all for us and we were able to get extra towels, etc. as needed. The pool appears small, but it ended up being the right size for the number of guests that were there the 2 days we went down. We didn't try the food but it smelled good and seemed busy. Element Moab was fantastic! Although there are a number of lodging options in a small radius, I think Element is a cut above, and it was slightly cheaper than some of the other hotels when I stayed here (December 2022). The building is brand new, the front desk said they'd only been open for a little over a year. And it shows! Rooms are massive -- mine had a separate dining/kitchenette space, making it feel more like a suite than the regular room I booked. Common amenities were great, too. The fitness center has dumbbells, treadmills, and ellipticals, with plenty of floor space to accommodate lots of gym goers. Bring a reusable water bottle! And the outdoor area has a heated pool, heated hot tub, and a fire pit. I think grills are also available for barbecuing, but didn't take advantage of those. All in all, a great place to stay in Moab, definitely the right choice whenever you find rooms priced at the same rates as other hotels in the vicinity! read more

Was absolutely amazed at this hotel! Never heard of it before but it's part of the Marriott family. Arrived after a long day of driving and exploring Arches National Park. Walked into a huge, clean, and spacious lobby and a very friendly front desk staff! The room was immaculate clean and HUGE. We had a 2 queen + sofa room. The pool was awesome with two two hot tubs, big pool, fire pits, and bag toss. Even better the staff didn't come out and kick us out at closing time. They let us leave on our own accord. Their ice machines are these fancy things that dispense both ice and water, but none were working the day we were here. We had a great experience at the Element, Moab last weekend. It's a new hotel and their rooms are massive with all the amenities you need. The pool is lovely, especially the chaise lounges in the water. And the complimentary breakfast exceeded all expectations! We had egg tacos with turkey sausage on the first day and thick, fluffy blueberry pancakes our last day. We have more to explore in Canyonlands and Arches so we'll be back at the Element soon. read more

The Staff at the Element is the nicest around, especially during a 3 hour power outage! We stayed here for a few days before our rafting trip... breakfast is adequate, kind of what you would expect from a hotel including a decent breakfast...but a bit more personal as they make your hot items for breakfast. It would be nice if there were a few more options for those that have food allergies to eggs and nuts....but that is at every hotel that offers breakfast... ...the pool is really nice..... it is very nice with great western views. First time staying in the Element by Marriott brand. A very new, eco-friendly hotel in Moab that seemed to cater toward the older crowd during our stay in Moab. Our two bed suite was clean and spacious; included a kitchen and sleeper sofa, no qualms there. Hotel offers a small gym, pool and two hot tubs. Lots of towels, beach chairs, and tables for guest who want to chill outside by the pool. Two outdoor gas grills are available for usage as well. Hotel features a bar but offers no full menu - just small bites. Breakfast consisted of coffee, boxed cereal, milk, bagels, fruit, and scrambled eggs upon request. During our 5 night stay I called front reception and specifically requested for a change in linens and towels. We only received a change in towels and noticed the maids just re-tucked our dirty bed linens. There is absolutely nothing special about the service or amenities at Element. I simple can't rave about it nor provide any critical critique. I would stay here again in the future though if the rate fits the bill. read more

This hotel was lovely and all of the employees we encountered were friendly and helpful. The pools were extremely hot, so we did not bother going in. The breakfast buffet was wonderful and we enjoyed it quite a bit. The only issue we encountered was that the ice machines were horrible. But the employee at the front desk said they will be replacing them in the next week. He also filled my water bottle with ice from the kitchen before we left. I would definitely return. read more

Nice, clean rooms. Comfortable beds with plenty of pillows and a thick, down comforter. Shower was a walk-in, which was nice. Coffee and tea r always available downstairs. Tazo tea is a nice touch, especially chamomile for us night owls. Bar opens at 5 with a good selection of drinks. They have a huge fire pit to sit next to outside anytime of day. Hot tubs were always in use. My only complaint was breakfast. They have the kitchen open but serve dehydrated scrambled eggs every day. That's it. If u r opening the kitchen grill then serve breakfast. If u don't want to do that, then just have routine continental style. read more

I would give this a 4 or 5 but... There was terrible service from a bartender named Daniel. He asked for my order I gave it to him but because I wasn't sure about the beer he gave me to taste he walked away and started helping other customers in place of putting my order in which honestly should have been simple enough. He came back several minutes later and asked me what I wanted to order I told him what it was and that I'd already gave him my order and I'd like to try a taste of another beer. He gives it to me steeped in attitude telling me I had to pay for tasting because he was just giving me free beer. I told him he should have told me that upfront and that I've never experienced that anywhere in all of my travels throughout America. Then he told me it's typically considered part of your beer order the tasting and most people just order what they tasted and I told him I didn't like it and I've never had ANY OF THEM so why would I know what to order. I ended up ordering the second tasting and he put the order in. Here's the thing about it that really needs to hit home. This is my first major interaction with customer service after a long trip. I was very much looking forward to having a good meal and relaxing after the trip. I will say the food was fantastic but man it would have been great if the customer service was anywhere near that because it really wasn't. To sum it up he made me feel like average bartending was too much and I was doing something wrong. And if you're thinking maybe it was busy honestly not terribly so there were plenty of tables open and people were coming in at a sensible pace that shouldn't overwhelm a bartender. He also was curt with multiple customers when dealing with food orders and serving alcohol in the lobby. Also some officious shut down on liquor quantity in drinks all of which understandably should be addressed but also with friendly customer service. All of these customers you could tell felt bad about their experience. Management please train or retrain customer service to Daniel because he doesn't have it figured out. read more

I have almost in never in my life encountered such rude and incompetent customer service attempting to book a hotel room and then calling the hotel directly. The reservations line linked to their official Elements online profile (a 435 number that goes to a reservations line and not the hotel directly) need to monitor their calls. I just called. "Hello you've reached reservations for the Elements MOOB when would you like to book your room?" No that's not a typo. The person on the other end said MOOB not Moab. Knowing that these are people in a call center I'm willing to overlook the oversight and I ask, "Can you tell me if you use fragrance in the rooms or in the lobby?" (I get migraines and fragrance are a trigger so I need to know.) This was the response: "Listen, it's not going to do any good if I answer these questions for you if our rooms are booked so can you just tell me what dates you're looking to book?" "Can you tell me your name?" I ask. Silence.... CLICK. Yep the Elements Moab not only hires reservation agents who cannot pronounce Moab, they hire people who cop an attitude about booking a room. While I assume that might be because they are bonused on bookings, it's still no excuse to start a phone with this kind or attitude and hang up on a potential client when they ask for the name of the person with whom they are speaking. I have friends who have worked for Marriott for decades and I think to myself "The operations manager will want to know about this, and also can answer my fragrance question." I call the hotel directly at 3:30 today and get Jerry. I ask in a friendly tone, "Hey Jerry can I speak to your ops manager?" He says let me check if one is available what is your name? So I tell him my name. He gets back on three minutes later and says and I quote, "MY MANAGER IS A MEETING RIGHT NOW AND I CANT TAKE A MESSAGE." Ok thanks Jerry, me and my group of people looking to book rooms at a local hotel will gladly pay $400 a night SOMEWHERE ELSE. If this is what the customer service is like out of the gate I can't imagine what a nightmare it would be to stay here. read more

First time staying here at the Element and I have to say that I was stunned by the aesthetics. Our room had such high ceilings that I thought I was in a model home. The difference was that there was no carpet. I like the concept, but it created a lot of echoing in the room. The room included a little kitchenette with a sink, mini fridge and cabinet space for dishes and such. Beds were comfortable. Staff was friendly. Restrooms were clean. When booking a hotel, I always look at the restroom images. This was very modernly designed restroom, pretty large in size, and quite clean! Much approved. They have complimentary breakfast which is always a plus which included all the basics plus an hot stove bar. Other amenities they have included a good sized gym with a few treadmills and dumbbells. There is also a pool that looked pretty fun but since we only stayed 1 night, we didn't have a chance to enjoy it. read more
