Cutest vintage refrigerator and matching microwave...

FANTASTIC!. From the moment we walked in to check in hours early!. Everyone who works here is so welcoming. Joe was at the front desk and had no problem letting us check in early. The rooms are so spacious and the beds are the most comfortable ever!. They have a complimentary breakfast which was the best I have ever had. And I travel a lot!. The lady taking care of the breakfast area was so nice and took pride in making everyone's breakfast perfect.Thank you for caring about our experience here.

In Moab while experiencing Arches and Canyon Lands we decided to spend the night. Of course we always travel with our dog Max and so the search began. Most "pet friendly" motels charged a whopping $70 per night for a dog. Not what i call friendly. But we found the Expedition Lodge that was not only pet friendly but welcomed dogs with no fee. On check in the vlerk was friendly, moved us to an upstairs rooom. This was once a Travel Lodge then a Rodeway before current owners took it over and renovated. The place has a funky 50s vibe of Happy Days and is extremely family friendly. It had a very nice pool with a dynamite slide and an arcade with ping pong and video games. The room was very clean with two queen beds, retro fridge and microwave. Red tuffets sate at the end of each bed for sitting ir luggage plus a chair. The floors are quality plank vinal and clean. The bathroom was a kick with a huge tub shower and toilet in 60s avocado green. Uograded shower head. Upgraded thru the wall ac kept the room very cool with a minimum og noise. Double paned windows. Breakfast include standard coninental fare PLUS hard boiled eggs, waffles you make plus Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches. It was very good. Breakfast room is good sized with vinal records on the wall. Fun. Yes it is an older motel right on main street so there is some street noise. Yes it is not luxury. But this is a very nice, clean place to stay with your pet and or family. Highly recommended.

    The pool and fun sign!

This is actually top 3 favorite hotels I've stayed at if not #1. The decor is so cute! Beds are comfy, staff is helpful and kind. The pool is very heated so 29° can't stop you from swimming:) the breakfast buffet has a ton of options including Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches literally love this place!

We've stayed the Expedition Lodge every President's Day weekend for several years now. If you have kids and dogs, this is the place to go! They have a heated pool with a slide, and a hot tub. This year the hot tub seemed dirty and didn't seem to receive any maintenance or cleaning entire weekend we were there. They have a great breakfast with hot items like waffles and egg sausage sandwiches you can microwave. The cafe space is nice, and we would hang out there in the evening and play games. They have an arcade and ping pong table as well. Our room this year was clean and in good shape, other than our coffee maker not working.

We went for 4 days to hike in the Arches park. This hotel is very clean, well located. Bedroom is big, well arranged, bathroom a bit small but not minuscule. They could have done a better for the sound isolation between first and second floor. The breakfast are good, the restaurant bathrooms is quite 60s but with a SPA (see picture) Anyway we are pleased and thought we would spread the word.

Evening view of sunset, mountains & water slide

For the price & Main Street location, this place couldn't have been better. We chose it bc we liked the non carpet flooring & free breakfast & were then pleasantly surprised there was a water slide & overall very nice pool area. The arcade was fun but my kids said it needed maintenance. We loved the room's vintage style but there were a few things in need of attention like a broken dead bolt & somewhat dirty shower. Breakfast was great, lots of good options. We will absolutely stay here again next time!!

    Entrance hot tub and pool!

Nice, clean hotel. The bed was really comfortable and the tv worked great. The pool was really cool with the slide.

Great customer service. Clean rooms. Comfortable beds. We brought our two German Shepherds and they welcomed them and we have no issues.

Our room was spacious with a sitting area that included a comfortable sofa, and a chair and ottoman. The staff is incredibly friendly and jumped in to assist with any needs or inquiries. The breakfast was a hive of activity with staff that refreshed supplies as they dwindled, helped to tidy tables and made every guest feel welcome. Things to note: There is a large patio outside the breakfast area that is open to guests any time of the day. This space is a great spot to eat breakfast, watch the sun come up, to check out the constant parade of 4WD vechicles that come though town, to people watch, and to socialize at the end of the day; This location is perfect for walking just about anywhere in town; Numerous restaurants were a block or two away; Free parking at the hotel was plentiful; The pool and hot tub were wonderfully relaxing and were in a private outdoor space with some tables/chairs that were either under a roof or umbrellas that provided shade; A locked bike room was available; The coin guest laundry room was very nice to have on-site; The entire hotel was very clean and well lit. Will I stay here again? Most certainly. This area has so many places to explore. I can't wait to go back, and now I know of a great place to call my home-base.

They had no written or documentation of this when we reserved our room. We have stayed here once before. And we're never charged this. The only reason we are giving 3 stars is do to the friendly staff. Also we spent the night and morning listening to all the doors slamming shut. They need to fix this because people don't care to be quiet.

There was a nice full size kitchen downstairs, with a pullout bed option in the sitting area. There was a little dining room table as well. Upstairs there were multiple bedrooms with pretty comfortable beds and pillows. The bathrooms were also nice and the showers were powerful which is always a huge plus at any hotel. It also had a really nice pool area with a neat little whirlpool section that the kids really enjoyed. Everything was updated and modern so it was very enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a dog friendly, kid friendly resort, very close to the downtown area of Moab for easy access to shops and restaurants. This place is perfectly placed and beautifully built. The rooms were clean as were the bathrooms. Room service was very nice about taking all the trash and cleaning up the dishes. I only had one complaint and it was a fairly large one. The mattress in the king bedroom was lumpy and super uncomfortable. I spent 2 nights on it before my back completely rebelled. When I addressed this with the front desk, they offered a mattress topper to even out the lumps and this was a very good solution. I still highly recommend this place and would suggest to review the mattress right away if you have back issues - and it is for this reason I took off one star.

Breakfast in the lobby can be hectic as everybody is rushing to get out to Arches. I appreciate that they try to mix things up so you don't have the same proteins every day. They also have the standard selections: make-your-own waffles, oatmeal, greek yogurt + toppings, eggs, meat protein, breads (English muffins, bagels, slices of bread), peanut butter, jelly, cereals, etc. The hotel can be a bit loud as the pool closes to kids at 10p but is still open for adults until 11p, and our room faced the pool. The location is excellent for Arches - only about a 5 minute drive away.
