Truly a wonderful place to stay in Moab (close to the Arches National Park as well). Staff here are very friendly; they've got a seasonal pool and an all-season hot tub (which comfortably accommodates two families). We were here in March during the spring break; it was still chilly, and the hot tub was a welcome feature. While staying here, we befriended the cat in residence whose name is Wizard. Simply adorable (see my photos). The cabin we were in was very modern; everything worked; it was clean, and has lots of natural light. I love the spacious living room with a tall ceiling (the nearly-vertical stairs to the bed in the "loft" in the attic area is a bit precarious but we only slept in the master bedroom). The temperature control (with the modern thermostat) was a welcome feature. The main door operates on codes. No key needed. read more

We happened upon Moab Springs Ranch by accident. How lucky are we! The property is awesome and thoughtfully designed. From the welcoming office and coffee shop to the meadow with natural spring and pool to the awesome bungalows! Our favorite stay yet! The cabin was absolutely perfect. It had everything we needed and more than we expected. The meadow was a treat. We were able to use the hot tub, hammocks, and fire pit. The soothing sounds of the water running was luxury and super relaxing. The cafe had excellent coffee, great breakfast burritos and delicious treats to choose from. I took my wife here for her 57 birthday . She rarely raves about any place we stay but Moab Spring Ranch was an exception...two thumbs up. What she liked...the cottage was large, updated and clean. The view was a 8/10. There was a nice pool but what she lived was the natural springs. They took advantage of the springs throughout the ranch. The coffee place was charming btw. What we also lived was all the shade ...a lot of established trees. They sent us a text that we could check in almost 2 hours early as promised. Visiting from SoCal, and couldn't be more pleased with our stay. The room was quite spacious, with a rain shower, and very comfortable bed. Many amenities on site, including a meadow, which provides the perfect setting for relaxation. Lastly, the coffee shop always provided a pleasant early-morning experience. Moab Springs Ranch is a really gorgeous gem amongst tons of chain hotels down the main highway in Moab. It (mostly) has beautiful views, a quaint coffee shop, and (supposedly) a gorgeous park for those staying at the "ranch." The history of the ranch is very interesting and it is worth stopping by the coffee shop to learn about it, even if you're not a guest here. I loved the design of the bungalows, with a small kitchenette, a cozy king bed, large bathroom, and clean amenities. The local coffee in our bungalow was delicious and a great start to our adventures for the day. The ranch is really well located in Moab, close to Arches and great trails, but a short drive from the hustle and bustle of downtown. While the ranch was cozy and really impressive, the experience of being a guest there was sub-par. We received very lengthy instructional emails to avoid an in-person check-in (makes sense with COVID), but they started to seem aggressive and too instructional. For example, the emails had deadlines for when and what we needed to provide. For such emails, we should at least receive a confirmation or response email, which we did not. We provided everything they asked for and more, and yet, we were charged over $100 for a fee that should have been waived. Finally, they advertise as dog-friendly, but it feels far from it. The dog-friendly bungalows are the worst on the property (no view, right next to the highway) and dogs are not allowed in the (supposedly) gorgeous ranch park they have gated just for guests. We were pretty disappointed that we paid the same price for these bungalows, which had a view of the Motel 6 sign, versus the bungalows at the top of the property with epic red rocks views. There were also no treats, bed, or bowls offered to our dog and instead, you can pay $25 to use their kennel to kennel your dog. I'd think most people with dogs camp in Moab, but if it's the winter, think again before staying at this "dog-friendly" accommodation with your dog. read more

Driven by these more times than I can count so when my boyfriend and I decided to spend a couple days down in Moab this time we decided to try a bungalow here instead of camping (it's freezing right now so no camping). I was impressed with the cleanliness and quality. It was super quiet and relaxing. Felt very homey. The views from the back deck/patio were gorgeous. I wish we could have stayed longer. Overall it was really great here, huge shower and tub, comfortable bed, friendly staff, but I still can't bring myself to give more than 2-3 stars. AFTER reserving I noticed on an information page that popped up for me that not only were these bungalows pet free but it mentioned service dog free. I hate to be that person but legitimate service animals are considered medical equipment not pets, so to see the sentence "pet and service dog free bungalow" was pretty upsetting. I actually do have an extensively task trained service dog (not emotional support BS) for myself for detecting and alerting to rapid drops in blood sugar levels, finding exits, retrieving medication and other items when I have loss of coordination and vertigo, and also for weight bearing purposes in the case that my levels drop. I understand the no pets policy, but to deny medical equipment/highly trained service dogs that are actually legitimate shows me that the owners of this establishment aren't aware of the laws and don't care to be aware of them/don't care about the safety of potential customers. I didn't end up bringing my service dog, mostly because I feel like I would disrespect national parks by bringing a dog to them, but that's out of respect and my choice and it is a risk to me but a risk that I chose to take. I am super upset that if I felt the need to take him I would have to battle with local PD being present for my non refundable bungalow and go through the hassle of pulling up state and federal laws. Once we got there to check in we noticed there is a cat named Wizard that wanders around the property both inside and outside. Sweet cat, very friendly and followed us around, we joked about bringing it inside our bungalow as a pet for the pet free place, and even in the main office the cat was allowed to jump on the front desk and was very entertaining while signing in. We also noticed after entering our bungalow that you are allowed to rent dog kennels/crates and leashes, but only for bungalows 40-44? Why wasn't this mentioned online anywhere or in the information page I got after check out online? Which is it guys? Yes to service dogs or no? Pets? It isn't making any sense to me why you rent out kennels and leashes when your information clearly prohibits animals. Yet there's a cat that lives inside and outside on the property. It isn't a good feeling to feel like your rights are being limited and then have conflicting information afterwards. read more

This place is gorgeous. I wish we could've stayed more than one night but our adventure to Yellowstone awaited. My son and I stayed in one of the bungalows at the top and he loved the huge shower and I loved the morning view on the balcony with my coffee. It was really clean, the bed was comfortable and I got a great nights sleep before our long drive. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub and walked around the little meadow. The staff, Alex was also very kind and texted me that we had a left a charger behind so we were able to grab it before we left. The resort is also only a few minutes away from Arches NPS. This place is a lot more high-end than I originally gathered from their website. Then, of course, the surrounding grounds are fantastic. It truly is an oasis in the desert! Be sure to check out the natural spring that they have diverted into the private park on the property. You can cool off in the spring (my preference) or check out the sweet little pool and amazing hot tub. Location cannot be beat. only a 10 to 15 minute drive to Arches national Park. We had a great stay at the Moab Springs Ranch. We spent four nights there during late May over Memorial Day weekend while we were visiting Arches and Canyonlands. The location was perfect - just "out of town", but only five minutes to "downtown" Moab, and only 10 minutes to Arches. We stayed in bungalow 39, at the very top of the property. It had GREAT views of the valley and mountains from our little back deck, and right behind us was a little hill to climb to watch the sunset. The bungalow was perfect for the two of us. It felt spacious and airy, had a comfortable king-sized bed, a small well-equipped kitchenette, and a large and well-appointed bathroom with a great "wet room" that included a rain head shower and bathtub. We had coffee and breakfast at the Horsethief Cafe several mornings, sitting outside on their little porch. The coffee and pastries were all very good, and the staff all very warm and welcoming. All in all a great experience - highly recommended. read more

Two king bedrooms with great sized bathrooms. Everything was clean, check in was easy. Perfect location minutes from Arches and the rest of town. The ONLY thing we could complain about was the younger, black haired girl working at the Horsethief Coffee shop. She was just so unpleasant and put out at every customer who came in. The accommodation itself could hardly have been better appointed, as they really paid attention to detail. The really comfy king beds, huge big screen TV (which we didn't turn on until our kid got the flu), huge, gorgeous bathroom, and actual top-notch fixtures, furniture, and accessories, throughout, rival what most of us have at home.
