I booked our stay a year ago for April 13-21, 2025 and it says when I was booking it with Expedia that it comes with FREE BREAKFAST. I booked it a year in advance and they want full payment to book it and non-refundable. It is Easter Jeep Safari week in Moab Utah so in order for me and my family to have hotel reservations I booked it. When we checked in front desk staff told us oh we do not serve free breakfast anymore and since we are staying there for more than a week I do not want to have a bad interaction with hotel staff and I told myself since I booked it thru Expedia they would help me with my booking. The washer/dryer was over priced at $3.50 per use more expensive than Homewood Suites by Hilton that only charges $2/ use and the washer and dryer in Adventure Hotel is broken. Also we were having problems with hot water for our shower. Since we really didn't like how they treated us we decided to check out one day early and we moved for 2 nights at Homewood suites by Hilton which was day and night difference. When we got back home I talked to Expedia in the hope that they will help us, I told Expedia that I paid a year in advance knowing there will be free breakfast and now when we checked in there is no more breakfast. I simply asked for a one day refund since we checked out one day early and Expedia told me they cannot help us because the hotel Adventure Inn has very strict rule and nothing can be done. I will never ever use Expedia anymore and also will no longer check in to Adventure Inn & Motel in Moab Utah. Their room and amenities are in bad shape and they wanted to short change us by not honoring the free breakfast. read more

Level setting expectations- this is a budget motel but it's great for a stay in Moab. The amenities are sparse, but the price is affordable and the location is fantastic. You're on main street, so you're walking distance to just about everything but you're just enough on the fringes that you won't be completely stuck in traffic during busy season. You're also minutes away from all the parks and everything is easily accessible. You park your vehicle right outside your room, which is convenient if you're road tripping/offroading, as you'll have easy access to your vehicle and gear. You can also keep an eye on your rig if security is a concern. They typically have a decent breakfast bar, but due to covid times, its more of a grab and go breakfast bag with packaged snacks. read more

This is a very bare bones motel. The receptionist was very nice, and I like how there is a dedicated parking spot by your room. But the room is quite tiny. You can feel the springs in your bed. And the shower is pretty tight, too. I did like the updated sinks, the mini fridge, and the microwave. read more

Was on a road trip in the Moab area and booked online. Location was perfect as within walking distance from the restaurants and grocery. Check in was new for me as it was done via a kiosk located in the lobby. Could not have been easier. The room was clean and more spacious than I thought it would be. This was by far the best buy and best room I had during my seven day road trip. Because I still had the southern portion of Canyonlands to do, I came back the next night to book again. I did get a different room, but was just as great as the first. Even though I was facing the main road, the motel is set back far enough from the road as not to be an issue trying to sleep. Basic breakfast items were available in the morning, laundry if needed, and an outside communal area to swap stories, have a drink, watch the sun set, and make friends. Classic bait and switch operation. I made reservations 10 months ago, when I went to check in I was told I had no reservation. I've had multiple reminder emails from Booking.com about reservation and communication with motel requesting a 4pm check-in, which was approved. It was a Friday afternoon, while driving up I noticed no-vacancy signs in town. I had no choice but to accept a double bed room at the back of the property for more money than the Deluxe King Suite I had originally reserved. The guy at the front desk lied, when they ran my credit card I got a notice from booking.com! If they didn't have a reservation for me then how did booking.com know I was there using my credit card??? What happened? I guarantee you they gave my original room to someone else for more money, I made our reservations at a lower price during the height of the pandemic scare when they had lower prices. Their breakfast? Half heated grey link sausage, bread for toast, old muffins, and powdered eggs; yes powdered eggs like in the Army. Cleanliness? Trash everywhere, not picked up. It did not last more than a few minutes at a time before going down again and again. I don't blame the staff as they tried to reset but it simply did not work. For the price, this was a great motel. There were some downsides to it to be sure; beds were small, room was small, bathroom was small, breakfast was sparse some mornings, robust on others (we stayed 4 nights). There was plenty of upside to make up for the lacking. Price was very reasonable, easy parking (reserved spot right outside our door). The room was clean, super friendly staff. It is located walking distance to everything in moab, but on the north end of town to avoid any traffic while driving to our room from the parks. It was very quiet. This is my favorite hotel in Moab! First of all, the location is perfect. Its right on the highway, in the middle of town. A comfortable walk to the shopping areas. Short drive to the trails and national parks! Right across the street from a nice little family owned deli/coffee shop. The traffic from the highway/road didn't bother me one bit. I slept like a rock both nights! The rooms are impeccable. Perfectly clean. And I know it wasn't just my room, because Markus was nice enough to show me some other rooms and they were also well kept! Loved the grass area beneath the shade trees in the parking lot. Makes for a nice reading spot coupled with the mountain view across the valley. Complimentary breakfast was also exceptional. I had some toast, coffee, and fresh fruit. But there was plenty more to choose from such as oat meal, cinnamon rolls, and cereal. The reception/breakfast area is updated with a very inviting color scheme. I was also told that the Adventure Inn runs off solar panels. Pretty cool if you ask me. They have a screen showing the solar productivity at the front desk. Can't wait to stay here again when I'm in Moab! Thank you Markus and Daniela for a wonderful stay. Hose in middle of walkway if not careful you'd be flying on your face! Many things not working properly! Also needs a good cleaning & update! They also put envelopes in your room to tip the housekeepers, it's not clean so not sure what they do! Last but not lease the front desk ppl Aren't friendly at all! Incredibly nice staff. Super friendly and responsive to requests. Like most motels, it's humble but they clearly take pride in providing the best experience they can. Family run place. The rooms were comfortable and clean with two pillow types provided for different firmness preferences. They also had fridges and microwaves. Small grass lawn near the parking area with furniture and grills for warmer days. Complimentary breakfast that included good coffee, tea, oj, donuts, toast, eggs, sausage, fruit, and cereal. As someone who works in clean tech, I also thought it was super cool they are 100% powered by rooftop solar. There's a display monitor in the lobby where it shows the generation and usage data. Walking distance to restaurants, rental and adventure companies, and the locally famous fossil store. read more

My friend and I arrived in Moab without making arrangements for overnight accommodations on 10-10-15 (which, I must tell you now was a mistake since apparently October is a super busy time for Moab). We had wanted to stay at a local motel, which was why we chose Adventure Inn. Despite our complete lack of forethought, there was one last room that hadn't been rented out. Kris, one of the owners, dubbed this room one of their 'economy' rooms and it only had one bed. It seems that there are a row of rooms that are of the older variety and that they have other larger and more recently renovated rooms. Deciding that our friendship should be able to survive sleeping in the same bed for two nights, we eagerly took the room. The room was very old skool and small (obviously meant for one person), but it was impressive in its league. There was plenty of room to put our stuff, sufficient outlets to charge electronics; and, even though the shower was one of those standing only showers, it was roomy and actually larger than my own shower at home. This room was obviously designed to give it the roomiest feel possible with how the nightstands, drawers and attached shelf are attached to the wall to keep the floor open. There is a window in the bathroom as well as in the main part of the room which adds more natural light. Cleanliness was not an issue at all. The room was very clean and obviously well maintained. The paint on the wall looked newer as if it had been applied recently. Also, randomly, there were no horribly ugly mass produced pictures on the walls that are all the rage in many hotels and motels. The lack of pictures might give it less of a 'homey' feel, but it does a lot to make the room feel bigger. The price was really good and both the owners were very friendly. They do have office hours (7am - 11pm), which is important to keep in mind since the ice machine is located in the office. They have a microwave in the office for guest use and they have laundry facilities on site. They offer coffee and little mini muffins in the morning. I don't know how the bigger and newer rooms are, but in the smaller economy room there are no extra frills you might find in other places such as ironing board, hair dryer, coffee pot, alarm clock, etc. None of those things are particularly important to me so their absence was not a bother, but for someone who is looking for these things, it is something to keep in mind. The room seemed very humid to me, which I think may be a result of the cooling unit. For someone who is from a moister environment, this might be a plus; however, for me it was a little uncomfortable. All in all, we were very happy with the room. It was very straightforward. This was a room meant to provide shelter, a bed, a shower, and a place to leave your stuff while you enjoy the outdoor activities in Moab. In that respect, it was exactly what we needed. We definitely would like to stay at the Adventure Inn the next time we're in Moab. read more

I had made a mistake when i made the reservations. I made my reservation through hotel.com and I thought I was making the reservations for two rooms but I only made reservations for one. All their rooms were rented so the owner helped me get a room at the motel next door. Very helpful, very nice. After I got my parents settled in at the motel next door, I finished checking at the Adventure Inn. I was given a room that was closest to the motel next door, which was very thoughtful. The room was clean, up to date and roomy. There were plenty of outlets near the beds for my daughter and me to plug in our various chargers, which shows that some thought was put into what people would need while staying in the room. The table with chairs was nice. The towels and bed linens were soft. The wifi was lightening fast. We had to leave before they put out breakfast, so I have no idea what that was like. They did have "early bird" coffee for people who need to leave before breakfastt. I don't drink coffee, but was impressed that this was something they offered. We stayed at this little motel for 3 nights while visiting Arches National Park during our summer road trip. My daughter brought along her Nintendo DS and all her DS games which were in a brown leather carrying case. We check out in the morning, but in the afternoon and 250 miles later my daughter realized she was missing her Nintendo DS. No big deal, right. Wrong! I immediately called the motel and spoke with this guy (name?) and told him what happened. He said someone had booked the room for the night and I should call next morning to talk to the manager. So I called the next morning and spoke to a woman (name?) who said she will talk to the cleaning lady and also check the room herself. She called back, and to my disbelief, she said they both didn't find the device. I asked her to check with the new occupants. She said she did, but they didn't see it either. My suspicion is that the cleaning lady probably took it, which is why this motel gets the 1 star rating. I also feel that the motel's management didn't have a sense of urgency. We found this place courtesy of Yelp while on the road. Good thing we called when we did, because a few minutes later, we were out of cell phone range on the 70. What a road that is! Anyway - that's another story all together. Turns out, we were there on their opening day of the season. Lucky for us! Since it is still "off season" in mid-March, we got a double queen room for $55/night. Crazy! At close to 10:00 at night, we arrived - exhausted from our drive and were warmly welcomed by Jim and given our key. The Adventure Inn is one of the first hotels you see when you are driving in from the 191, so it was easy to find in the dark in our "14 hours in the car" hysteria. The beds were very comfy, and the sheets were patterned! When does that happen at a hotel? It definitely made us feel at home. We popped our wine in the fridge, turned up the heat (on the very quiet heating/AC unit), and got some rest. It isn't a fancy spa hotel, but who needs that in Moab? The next morning, I headed into the office for a cup of coffee, and was very happy with it. Got some advice from Kris about where to go for breakfast, and how best to attack Arches Natl. Park with just one day to see things. It isn't a fancy spa hotel, but who needs that in Moab? The comfy beds, welcoming service and the view from our door are all I need to make this a 5 star Moab spot! We felt welcomed, comfortable and cozy at the Adventure Inn. What a great budget motel! This place was incredibly clean and had all the accommodations one needs. The only negative side was the sink in our room took a while to drain, but other than that the plumbing seemed fine. Breakfast also had solid choices, and the location of the motel was right by Arches National Park. Overall this place is a steal with the $50 a night price tag. While planning our trip to Arches, I was left with the task of getting our room. My main criteria are non smoking rooms, fridge, microwave, wifi, and fair rates. While looking online, I was able to eliminate over 20 properties because these criteria were not met. I don't remember exactly, but I had to email to get clarification on something. My email was answered very promptly. I was left with about 7 properties to choose from and then I was down to 2. Adventure Inn and Bowen Inn were my finalists. I decided to pick Adventure Inn because they are slightly on the outskirts of downtown and expected a quieter and peaceful stay. When we arrived, we were immediately greeted by Jim, and to be honest he wasn't all that friendly at first. That weekend happened to be a Jeep event and the town was packed. I guess since we were in a Jeep, he thought we were another couple that didn't plan ahead and was bugging him about if he had any rooms available. He looked like he had a rough night. Once he realized we had reservations, he settled down and was as polite as can be. I stay in a lot of motels and I was pleased with this room. The TV, fridge, water temperature/pressure worked perfectly. The bed was nice and comfortable. Our typical stays are 4 nights and we don't get maid service. This means I need to make a few trips to the front desk to get extra supplies like towels, toilet paper, and soap. The room was stocked minimally with these items. But I can understand the reasoning behind this from a business perspective. The shower does need a liner. It had one of those decorative covers, but it wasn't a true liner, so water got on the floor. Coffee, tea, and mini muffins are served in the lobby in the morning. I don't need any of that stuff, but my girlfriend needs her hot tea. She's a slow drinker, so a microwave in the room would be a plus. No biggie, I came to hike, so what's a few hundred feet to the lobby? Now that you read all my ramblings, I'll get to the point. Would I stay here again? Absofrickenlutely. Without a question. I will not even bother looking elsewhere. Adventure Inn has earned a customer. read more

This is the only place I stay at when in Moab. Small, quaint, clean, family owned (I'm now on a first name basis with Kris and Jim, I've been there so often). The rate is excellent. It was mentioned that breakfast is a bit lean. But Kris told me "You can stay next door in the Hampton Inn, pay $70 more and enjoy their powdered eggs." Frankly, it's a resort town. What the hell are you doing eating in the hotel anyway. There's great breakfast served through local restaurants (not Denny's) like Eklectica Cafe or the Moab Diner (best green chili ever!). Adventure Inn is small so make reservations. They only have 20 rooms. And a nice shady lawn to relax on at night when you're done with your desert fun. A rare find indeed. read more

We ended up getting stranded at canyonlands over night and the staff at adventure inn was absolutely wonderful about it. Check out is at 11 and we kept the staff posted that we wouldn't be back to the hotel until after 3 since we had to scale a large canyon. They packed all our stuff, nothing was missing, and held it for us. There was no extra charge and they were not upset about the situation at all. They were happy to hear we were okay. The room is very acceptable for a few nights, we stayed three nights. I definitely recommend. read more

I have been staying at the Adventure Inn for the past eight years before and after my yearly river trip. I love this place. This year I stayed in room 109 and 110, each has 2 queen beds. They are spacious and clean (big enough to sort and pack up gear). The courtyard with lovely trees for shade provides great sitting areas with tables and chairs. The Inn is nothing fancy; however, it was what we were looking for - somewhere to sleep. The price was a little high but we also booked late and for a busy weekend. The breakfast could have been better but it was still good enough. They had a lot of apples, oranges and bananas. We were going to be arriving on the late side, so I received a call letting me know where to find my room key should we arrive after the office had closed. We ended up arriving while they were still open, but I thought that was a really nice touch. The bad: The towels in the bathroom are DARK BROWN. Who uses dark towels in a hotel? I want to know they're clean, and with dark brown you simply cannot tell. I don't have a problem with brown towels unless they are in a hotel room. The towels also seemed a bit old (frayed a bit at the edges), but hard to tell for sure with brown towels. Parking is tight--some large camper vans parked and we could barely drive our car through. It would be tough to navigate during the busy season, I would bet. Room is also dated, so shower was pretty uncomfortable (small and tight) and got water all over the floor. Bed is also not the most comfortable. Breakfast was probably the worst continental I've had--no protein aside from yogurt. Choices were just bread, cereal, yogurt, and a few pastries. No bagels, no english muffins, no waffles, no eggs (even hard-boiled would be nice). In a place that has so much outdoor activity going on, having some protein for breakfast is really important. read more

We stayed here for a few happy nights. It was clean, convenient, spacious and fair-priced. The fridge was roomy enough with a small freezer section. There was a decent-sized table with chairs so two people could actually sit to eat or read. The huge bed let me sleep soundly and that's rare for me. The owner was a total jerk. From the moment I walked in the door, I was met with rudeness and suspicion. Even after I went to my room, he followed me there and started accusing me of conning him because two of my traveling partners who were staying at a nearby hotel came to my room to hang out. He insisted that each additional overnight guest cost $20. Exasperated, I expressed a willingness to pay this fee, even though they were not, in fact, overnight guests. When he accused me of "bullshitting" him (his words), I asked for my money back and left. I refuse to support a business run by such a colossal jerk. read more
