May 2-4, 2025. Room is ok. Beds are nice, wood floors. Rm 104. You will receive a text telling you how to get in the building and a room number, including a code to get in. No card, just keypad. DO NOT try to get a person to talk to anytime. A phone call says to go on line for availability. We turn on the AC and an alert comes on "Check filter". I open to filter cover and find a filter so clogged from not being cleaned for almost a year. No one in office, no one on phone. Pulled filter. I could not scrape it with my key. Today I wondered why bathroom fan did not work. Looked up and saw a fan literally rotting in the ceiling. Parking is tight but doable. There is a food truck out front with decent food. ****** ADD: wife showered, then I. There were 2 hand towels 2 wash clothes 2 floor mats and ONE BATH TOWEL. Who the hell puts one bath towel in a room with 2 queen size beds. Then I noticed the shower. Calcium or rust build up around wall at floor level which also had mold next to the door. No daily room service but that is OK. At least until you want the trash out and need a new bag. So we are using Walmart bags and leaving trash outside door, which will probably not be taken out. NO DO NOT COME. Dropped to 1 star. Would be less but that is as low as it will go. read more

So I was hesitant about this motel, but we came and it was actually pretty nice. The rooms are definitely clean and tidy. Although I found out 2 days in staying that they don't clean everyday due to Covid-19 but will absolutely take you towels when needed. Sometimes at night you can hear people talking in the other room, but ahhhh what do you do when they are loud, and I mean as in talking. For the most part though it was a pleasent night and very quite. The view of the mountain was pretty, and I actually did enjoy my stay as I was able yo take my dogs and they have a nice area to take them in front, but please pick up after your pets out of respect. I did like the fact that if you wanted to cook out, they let you use their grill (propane) and patio. Although we didn't grill this time around, that was an extra special bonus we didn't know was available. That is really nice indeed,not to mention they have a jacuzzi to use for the asking of course. But the chilly April day was not going to let that happen! Next door you have a Mexican restaurant that I highly recommend. Super authentic and the next door set up is perfect! Actually there were plenty of places to eat and buy groceries within walking distance and that alone saved time. All in all I will say that I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived, and I think you will also be. Just remember, they do have double beds also, but you have to book them. And don't be afraid to ask them questions as they are pretty nice here. read more

On the nights of March 10th and 11th, I stayed at this motel in Moab for my visits to Arches and Canyonlands National Park. The check-in process was very inconvenient. The lobby was closed. I ended up spending over 20 minutes calling the motel's owner. The phone number listed on Expedia was a personal cellphone. Finally, I got a text that gave me the room number and the code to enter it. Rooms here had PIN codes to enter the rooms. The room itself was okay, and the rest of my stay was fine. However, the terrible check-in process is why I gave this place 3 stars. read more

This is one of the best 2-star hotels I've found. They are very clean, and feel safe. They have hardwood floors (rather than carpet, so it's much cleaner), a mini-fridge with tiny freezer, small television, basic cable, A/C, microwave, hair dryer, coffee maker, shower, ice. What more do you need? It's small but clean and a much better price than most other places in Moab. Excellent customer service, self check-in with a door code, and a great view. The only negative I had was parking. There's pretty much "exactly" enough parking for one vehicle per room (it appears). These fill up fast in the evening so you might be left parking out on the street if you arrive later in the day. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and will definitely stay here again during future visits to Moab! read more

This was a tricky review. I am reviewing this place against other budget motels as I don't think it is fair to compare it to a fancy Hilton or something. I struggled between a 2 or 3 star review. The place is very outdated! It could definitely use some TLC. New bedding would do the rooms wonders. I will say the sheets were clean and the place smelt strongly of bleach when we checked in so at least we know it was clean but the bleach smell gave me a headache so we had to open the window to air it out. Once the bleach smell faded, the room had a very musty smell to it. The coffee in the room was pretty terrible and there was no filter with the coffee machine so you were kinda stuck with their gross pre-bagged coffee. The shower was kinda strange but it was clean and had nice water pressure. The customer service was very mediocre. A young girl was working the front and didn't provide much information upon check in so I had to constantly go to the desk to ask questions. She was friendly though. The hot (warm) tub was open and was surprisingly clean but you can't control the temperature so I would say it was more a luke warm tub rather than a "hot" tub. The place was dog friendly which was great for us and our two pups. The price was much cheaper than anything else in town but still not super cheap (~$400 for 3 nights). Moab was packed when we went so there were limited dog friendly options available. WiFi was great for when I had to do some work meetings. Motel was overall pretty quiet although we were there on week days. read more

I really wanted to leave this place a better review. It turned out much cleaner and comfortable than I had expected from the few pictures on here. We waited too long to book a room in Moab and by the time I started calling around this motel was the only place with a room left. It was $183 a night (with tax) on Memorial Day weekend. Crazy expensive for a motel of this caliber but I guess that's Moab on a holiday weekend. Anyways, the reason for only a 2 star review is there was a wet, dirty (brown dirt smudge marks) folded up towel stacked in between the bottom 2 clean towels in the bathroom. Not sure how the cleaners missed that, but it was pretty gross. Other than that the bed was comfortable and the room relatively quiet. Would stay again if it was the only choice. read more

This place did it's job and more. My wife and I stayed here around Easter weekend and needed a place to stay that wouldn't break the bank. This was it. Entering the parking lot I was slightly anxious because it's a small property and not fancy at all. At..all. Haha. But, the night reception person was very friendly and welcoming. Our room was a pet friendly room (adding $10 a night) and I'm not sure if it was that there was no one else nearby or if the walls were that thick because we did not hear a thing. The wifi was free and the AC and TV worked perfectly. We actually got to catch our Game Of Thrones episode without a hitch. I would recommend this place for sure. read more

Rooms may be bit small for two persons, coz the "clothing area" is too big and just useless imo, but you got a fridge and a micro wave, quick wifi. The Inn is well-situated, friendly staff, seems clean on second sight. Further, gas station and a food store right across the street. With more than 90 bucks per night, its quite close to overpriced (but this might be a highseason issue...). The only place I'll ever stay when visiting Moab. I've been here twice now (first time traveling solo in 2010 and recently in 2014 with 2 others). The motel is clean, quiet, and definitely affordable. It's a one story building, so that means no stairs to climb and no noisy neighbors above you! I have never, ever heard anyone from the rooms next to me. It does not have a pool, or breakfast, or anything like that. It's a good, clean, quiet place to get some rest and hang out before a long day of hiking the red rocks. And Ben the owner is, by far, the best and most helpful innkeeper I have ever met. read more

This was the first day of my road trip from AZ to TN with my dog. I was going to stop at the KOA because the weather was not permitting primitive camping. I'm so glad that I found Silver Sage Inn. Not only are they way more affordable and a small personal business they really do put the personal in that title! Upon checking in I mentioned going hiking and he (the new owner) suggested a trail that was super dog friendly and lots of water. Being from the desert you could imagine I was stoked for water and OMG that hiking was one of the biggest highlights of our drive! My dog, Fungus, LOVED every minute of it! We only saw a handful of people the entire time and the water was wonderful to play in. I look forward to stopping by and supporting them as they helped support us on our journey. Cheap is the word and it's in fairness what I was after. Just a place to do the basic sleepover, shower and you know. But the sleep is the most important aspect and it's hard to do that when the bed is like bedrock. Were I a boulder hopper who happened to also like falling on my back onto said boulders and found that enjoyable, napping until I gained consciousness, I'd probably love the accommodations here. Alas, I'm a sucker still for a soft mattress and a fluffed pillow. We had to pay ten bucks for the dog which is normal, but the bill was still ten bucks more than the Motel 6 down the road, which doesn't charge for dogs. And, M6, even with their notoriously firm mattresses, are like a cloud compared to the boxspring sandwich we had to lay on. It was clean, and the wi-fi worked fine. Nice manager and a place for the dog to do its business. Grateful for that. The general motif of the place is that of a metal building and resembles a bomb shelter, or maybe a man camp. I suppose during a zombie apocalypse all the above wouldn't matter and I'd be less likely to complain. But until the flesh eaters arrive, I'd like to keep my backside from being chewed by the death beds this place offers. Tom Bodet gets my vote next time. read more

This was a cute, pet friendly place to stay in Moab. The owner, Zach, was beyond friendly and recommended some nice hikes, started a fire for us and waived my pet fee as a military discount. Everything was clean and we even had a nice view from our window! It's 10 minutes away from most hikes and very close to the town! 10/10 would recommend! read more

This is not the ritz so it shouldn't be reviewed as such. This is a simple motel room in Moab and close to restaurants and gas stations. We were only in Moab for two nights in high season and chose this place because it was about $100/ night instead of the $150 the Motel 6/ La Quinta's were charging. It's also pet friendly with a $10/ night fee. The rooms were clean, and the showers had hot water and good pressure. Each room has a mini fridge and microwave which is always nice. They offer free wifi, and the tv even got HBO so we were able to get our Game of Thrones fix while staying there. The front desk staff were pleasant and friendly. It's definitely expensive for this type of hotel, but Moab is an expensive place to visit and this was a good value for the location in my opinion. I would definitely stay in this hotel again, no complaints at all. read more

I stayed here one night last week with my boyfriend and our dog (pet fee is $10 extra). The room was clean which is the most important thing! I had a good night sleep here and a shower (very simple bathroom that did the job!) There is also a flatscreen tv with cable and free wifi. The manager was very friendly and accommodating. I would certainly stay here again as it was more than I expected for a lot less money than many other motels in Moab. read more

My girlfriend and our two dogs stayed here one night when we were moving to Utah from TN. The owner was extremely nice about letting us park our uhaul in front of the dumpster and even waived one of the pet fees for us. Very kind and courteous! My daughter and I stayed here from Sunday, July 29 to Friday, August 3 2018. It was a great experience! It was very reasonably priced, and incredibly clean. The owner, Zack, was very friendly and always available and ready to answer all questions about local attractions and the easiest way to get to anywhere you were planning on going. The beds and pillows were the best! It has a fridge, microwave, and cable TV. It also has a hot tub. All in all, it was the best deal in Moab! Whenever we return, we will definitely be staying there. My husband and I stayed here a couple weeks ago for three nights. We were looking for a place to stay near Canyonlands National Park, and this place had the best deal on booking.com. Being that it was the cheapest place in Moab, we knew not to expect anything fancy. We were not disappointed. I have to agree with the review below mine on a few points: the owner (or whoever checked us in) was very friendly. Yes, the parking lot was a bit annoying because it kind of sneaks up on you, and it's hard to tell which turn to take. The pillows were a bit thin, but overall, the room was comfortable. The window AC unit kept the room cool at night. It had a refrigerator and microwave, and next to the bathroom, there was ample closet space for clothing/suitcases. We had no problems with the internet or TV. Overall, we were pleased with our stay and would recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable place to stay in Moab! read more

I have stayed here numerous times for several days at a time; for Moab this is affordable! The rooms are basic, not big but clean. I get a good night's sleep and there is a snack shop right across the road to get some early morning coffee if you don't use the room coffee maker. The owner is friendly, accommodating and we have had some good conversations. I use the Internet because I work out of the room several hours per day as a contractor and then see and hike the beautiful areas around Moab later. The INTERNET works excellently and has a big bandwidth; I have to access back end IT systems consistently and The Silver Sage is better than motels 3 times its size for this. I would especially recommend this motel for people who do want to access the Internet for whatever reason and are okay with a basic, clean, affordable room with a friendly owner in a less crowded part of Moab. read more
