Next morning I needed to leave early, but Matt insisted on making me a breakfast to-go of a sandwich and fruit. They even shared dinner with me my second night when I came back early. Everything was natural, organic, consciously-gathered ingredients. Room: Nice, clean, cozy bedding and lighting. 6-7 water bottles, lavender bed spray, gorgeous stone lamp, tv, guidebooks and separate entry, and covered parking for my one car. Property: You can see the sunrise and the sunset right from their backyard, where they've set up chairs. Stunning!! Nickel and dimed at every turn: We were given a travel size body wash to use for two people for three days (not to mention the same for shampoo). World's worst coffee - thank goodness we were only given two days worth. No coffee in the hotel lobby, just water ($3 bottles of water in the room). And their $14 breakfast voucher system requires you to go back to the front desk daily to get a new voucher (a cereal bowl is $10 - seriously?!?). There's nothing special about this place except for their focus on hotel scam: Go to the Comfort Inn and get treated better for far less money!!!

We didn't know if he was having sex or pooping until he began to violently throw up. We tried to drown it out with the AC, but ended up calling the front desk to switch rooms. They were so accommodating and even tried to check on Ralph (lesson learned drinking and dehydration is a real thing). Moral of this short blib- walls are thin and I am a light sleeper. The hotel handled the situation perfectly... but from now on I will be requesting to be tucked away in a solo room away from the wild ones :)

The breakfast was a hive of activity with staff that refreshed supplies as they dwindled, helped to tidy tables and made every guest feel welcome. Things to note: There is a large patio outside the breakfast area that is open to guests any time of the day. This space is a great spot to eat breakfast, watch the sun come up, to check out the constant parade of 4WD vechicles that come though town, to people watch, and to socialize at the end of the day; This location is perfect for walking just about anywhere in town; Numerous restaurants were a block or two away; Free parking at the hotel was plentiful; The pool and hot tub were wonderfully relaxing and were in a private outdoor space with some tables/chairs that were either under a roof or umbrellas that provided shade; A locked bike room was available; The coin guest laundry room was very nice to have on-site; The entire hotel was very clean and well lit. Will I stay here again? Most certainly. This area has so many places to explore. I can't wait to go back, and now I know of a great place to call my home-base.
