Just a friendly warning about this place - the rooms are not cleaned well so please check your rooms when getting there. Here's what went down, we booked this hotel for a 2 night weekend trip as the price was good, reviews on Expedia and Google were good and the breakfast pictures online looked to be good. We arrived and checked in quickly, got to our room and noticed immediately the sheets were stained. We called down to the front desk and the manager brought us keys to a new room immediately that was 2 rooms down. We get to the 2nd room and obviously thoroughly check the beds again only to find dried c** stains on the sheets so they were clearly unwashed and just made the bed. I kid you not. At this point we are disgusted and worried about the cleanliness of all rooms. Go down to the front desk to let the manager know. The manager was great and apologized letting us know they have been having issues with housekeeping and they are short staffed. He offers to go with us to the 3rd room to ensure it was clean. Get to the 3rd room and it was acceptable (not great) but there were no other hotels available so we made due. Found out the next day when our room wasn't cleaned that they also only clean rooms every other day. Breakfast was not great unless you like waffles and cereal because that's basically what they had. All the fresh fruit was gone by 7 am, oatmeal was mostly gone by that time too. Next day they didn't even offer oatmeal except in instant packets. Just avoid this place if possible. I do want to say the manager was very helpful and did his best but truly a terrible experience. read more

I chose this hotel based on the fact that animals are allowed only if they are service animals. This is a big deal if you are like me and have allergies. And they are a newer hotel built in 2021. The rooms are clean, spacious, comfy and the price was exceptionally good for the value in comparison to many other hotels that are older in the town of Moab. Scenic View Inn does have rooms with some great views of the natural formations from the 3rd floor. Breakfast is served and included in the price but it was mediocre. The hotel is at the end of town which is still a short 16 minute drive to Arches National Park. We actually stayed on New Year's Eve and were pleasantly surprised that it was a quiet night, we didn't even hear a firework. Which gave us all a great nights sleep for an early morning on New Year's Day for hiking!! I would stay here again if I am in the area. read more

Great hotel with pool to cool off from the heat. The room is clean and neat. The pool can use better care w the cleanup there are lots of dead insects floating at time. Hot tub temperature is unstable, but when informed, the hotel staff is quick to address. Breakfast has good options and varieties. Dining area is large and spacious. We order takeout a couple nights and asked permission to eat at the dining room. The great/best thing is that they have self service coin laundry. The location is good too, close to downtown (5-10 minutes drive), and arches national park 15-20 minutes to the entrance. Overall, a great place to stay. read more

Scenic View Inn on South Highway 191 in Moab is a nice and convenient motel with easy access to the park. The gentleman at the front desk is kind and friendly. The rooms are clean and the complementary breakfast in the morning is sufficient and good for what it is. Price wise I would say it is a very good deal. Granted I was staying in March versus the summer season. I can't really speak towards the price during the summer. Newish Hotel just outside of Moab. Had limited interaction with staff but was friendly when I did. Room was clean, loved the shower head! My only complaint about the room, there was no bars or hooks to hang towels. Has a smallish pool with hot tub. Friend went to the hot tub one afternoon and said that it had to be turned on to be heated and the bubble part didn't work. Has a small gym with treadmill, elliptical machine and light weights. There was breakfast in the morning that unfortunately I didn't partake. I did see they have a waffle bar, eggs, sausage, fruit, cereal, granola, lemonade, coffee and apple juice. Probably a few other things I missed. Friends said it was good except for the eggs. My only issue with the hotel is that the walls are super thin. I can hear my neighbors next and people walking in the hallways. Granted, the noise was not during sleeping hours but just be aware of that really matters to you. I thought the prices were a bit high for my 3 night stay and when I come back, I might choose another place in town. read more

When I was booking this trip I wanted a place close to Arches National Park & Canyonland National Park Scenic View Inn fit the bill. Scenic inn fit the bill. They are no frills basic hotel that is clean and fit the bill just outside of the downtown MOAB area & very close to Arches National Park. They do serve a decent breakfast every morning between 6am - 9am. The rooms are clean & functional and serve the purpose but are a little on the small side. They have liquid dispensers in the shower w/body soap, shampoo & hair conditioner. The sink is outside the the shower & toilet are which is nice so 2 people can use one or the other. The sink has a liquid dispenser w/hand & body lotion which is a nice touch since the air up here is very dry. The hotel is sighted w/an RV park directly in front of the entrance w/limited parking adjacent to the front entry. There is parking in the back it is a little inconvenient, but not a major problem. A couple of other negatives: The whole room electrical is switched to a master switch so it's either all or nothing. It's a dream getting up in pitch black in the middle of the night w/no lights to go to the bathroom wo/lights. The other item is there are NO TOWEL BARS either on the wall outside of the shower or on the wall in the shower. It would be nice have something to hang your towel on either inside or after the shower. Overall I found it to be a clean no frills place that served our needs. read more

Rooms were decent and clean. Included a microwave, coffee maker and small fridge. Don't come here for the breakfast. Only decent things I had were the waffles, you make your own, and the orange juice. It's outside of the main town area so there's nothing around to walk to. Also the pool and jacuzzi area is not very big and only have 4 lounge chairs. read more

We went here after our original hotel reservations had to be changed due to the hotel's AC being broken. We were lucky because we got one of the last rooms availability on Labor Day weekend. The staff was very friendly and kind. The room was spacious and very clean. The bed had one of the most comfortable mattresses I've ever found in a hotel room. The continental breakfast was delicious and offered biscuits and gravy, waffle, eggs, cereal, yogurt, fruit and more. The views were spectacular. Definitely a great deal and 5 stars! read more

Definitely will return when going back to Moab! The room was really nice! Huge TV, amazing window to see the morning view, and a very nice bathroom! The shower is so big along with the rain shower head! Along with just overall great room, I took my partner here as part of a birthday surprise road trip. I called ahead to ask if they could help me decorate the room as an extra surprise for him when we walked in. They really take the extra mile to make sure your stay is amazing. read more

The only reason I'm not giving this hotel five stars is only the location. It's a fabulous, new, clean, spacious hotel that is a good 5 to 10 minute drive from the center of town. That didn't bother me because the prices are so amazing it was completely worth it instead of paying $350- $500 for a room. The Scenic View Inn is new and located a few miles south of downtown Moab, so there are no services close by. We enjoyed our stay here but read further. It's new and the decorating and materials are nice and up-to-date. The lobby area is large and there are nice seating and table. The rooms are large and well-appointed. The beds are comfortable and linen was clean. There was a desk, television, and area with a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. The bathroom is large and the toilet and shower are in a separate room. All nicely done. Breakfast was continental and typical but acceptable. I did find a few things odd about my stay however. We were there for three nights and had no maid service while we were there. I know some hotels only provide service if requested and perhaps this is the policy of this hotel, but if this is the case, it wasn't made clear. Honestly, this isn't a big deal but worth noting. The hotel staff isn't easily recognizable; there are no name tags or uniforms. Again, not a big deal but also not very professional. As nice and new as the rooms and common spaces are I fear they might not stay this way for long. Maintenance seems lacking. There was a stain in the carpet in our room and I noticed a bench next to the elevator leaning and had been poorly fixed and was ready to collapse. There are signs throughout the common areas which are just printed on letter paper and taped to the walls. Again, not a big deal but kind of tacky looking for a new hotel. This is a nice place but it seems like the management is lacking in experience in running and maintaining a motel or perhaps hasn't been given the resources they need to keep it nice. DON'T DO IT! Not much works. They don't seem to care. You're FAR from TOWN. You definitely can't walk out of your hotel and go to dinner. It has SLOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWW Wifi. Pool is closed. Really? In June and it's in the 90's here right now..... The TV only has cable (who watches cable TV???? I mean why bother...), You can't log in to your NFLX or PRIME Video or APPLE TV. You CAN'T even Mirror the TV with your phone or laptop. The TV does not have Wifi. It's been disabled (I tried). The phone in the room doesn't work so you can't call the front desk. When we checked in they told us they wouldn't service our room because we are staying for 3 days. Isn't that WHEN YOU NEEED YOUR ROOM TO BE SERVICED?????? You run out of towels and the garbage overflows. Speaking from experience....... That is all annoying but I could deal with it. However, The floors in the rooms I don't think have ever been washed. I spilled a bunch of water and wiped it up with a white towel. What came up --Gross!!!!!!! It was so brown. It's also hotter than hades in the elevator and lobby. You can stop reading here. Now I'm just going to rant. We were on a 3 week road trip from California through AZ to UT then OR and WA. We've stayed in numerous hotels. All of them had decent wifi and the pool was open. This is the worst hotel by far. Scenic View wasn't the cheapest of choices but the photos looked great. I wish I would have known it's remote as hell. There's no food anywhere near here. There's NOTHING to do after you come back from hiking all day and are exhausted. Stay at a different hotel. Being on the road for 3 weeks, we're not staying in 5 star hotels so I'm not expecting luxury. I regret booking here. I have never been to a hotel where someone comes hysterically yelling and threatening you for being late for checkout without a warning or a call. The man charged us $50 late fee after we apologized and told him that we had not received any of the calls he said were made. We had the room for 2 nights and the night prior to this our room key was given to different guests who went into our room and thankfully were kind enough to notify the front desk without stealing any of our things. They told us their system messed up so we had to do the check in process all over again when we really just wanted to get in and go to sleep. So don't leave your things in the room as random people may come in. Most staff were very nice, but the older bald man was nothing but rude and disrespectful. +: I was greeted by a gentleman who was waiting by the doorway. This was alarming at first but then realized that he was there for late arrivals (we arrived after 11:00pm). It would have helped to identify him as a staff member of the hotel if he were in uniform or had a name tag. He was very kind and helpful though. The room was very clean. King bed was comfortable. Pillows were small but comfortable as well. Shower ran well, had good water pressure and had dispensers placed on the walls for shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. There was another for lotion to the side of the sink. All of the products had a very nice scent to them. A shower cap and make up remover wipes were also supplied next to the sink. - : I was awaken by others in the hallway (I am a light sleeper though so this may not be an issue for everyone). The bathroom door wouldn't close properly unless you really pushed it. The online website would not allow me to book a room and looks like it is still being worked on as it is a newer hotel. I called to do it over the phone and was told I needed to call back between 7:00-2:00 to do so. I went ahead and called the next day during the times given and had no problem booking the room. We missed the breakfast as we ended up sleeping in after our late arrival so I cannot comment on that other than stating that we were reminded of the breakfast at check in and that it is served until 9:00am. read more

I had no issues staying here. I booked a room here very last minute as I explored the national parks in the area. The room was modern and clean with comfortable beds and a nice and spacious bathroom. The staff were friendly and the typical hotel breakfast was fine. Coffee and tea available throughout the day. I did not have issues with noise at all, I'm a light sleeper but I didn't wake up once. read more

Ok , wanted to be out of town . Wanted a nice ( not old ) room . That's where it ends ! Look we're easy people . We don't need cheap breakfast , maid service, fresh towels, parking ( we parked in the dirt ) ice , vending machine ( out of order ) and so on . BUT ? I need a HOT shower when come in from the day . Not happening at this place . We changed rooms NO better.
