Newish Hotel just outside of Moab. Had limited interaction with staff but was friendly when I did. Room was clean, loved the shower head! My only complaint about the room, there was no bars or hooks to hang towels. Has a smallish pool with hot tub. Friend went to the hot tub one afternoon and said that it had to be turned on to be heated and the bubble part didn't work. Has a small gym with treadmill, elliptical machine and light weights. There was breakfast in the morning that unfortunately I didn't partake. I did see they have a waffle bar, eggs, sausage, fruit, cereal, granola, lemonade, coffee and apple juice. Probably a few other things I missed. Friends said it was good except for the eggs. My only issue with the hotel is that the walls are super thin. I can hear my neighbors next and people walking in the hallways. Granted, the noise was not during sleeping hours but just be aware of that really matters to you. I thought the prices were a bit high for my 3 night stay and when I come back, I might choose another place in town.

When I was booking this trip I wanted a place close to Arches National Park & Canyonland National Park Scenic View Inn fit the bill. Scenic inn fit the bill. They are no frills basic hotel that is clean and fit the bill just outside of the downtown MOAB area & very close to Arches National Park. They do serve a decent breakfast every morning between 6am - 9am. The rooms are clean & functional and serve the purpose but are a little on the small side. They have liquid dispensers in the shower w/body soap, shampoo & hair conditioner. The sink is outside the the shower & toilet are which is nice so 2 people can use one or the other. The sink has a liquid dispenser w/hand & body lotion which is a nice touch since the air up here is very dry. The hotel is sighted w/an RV park directly in front of the entrance w/limited parking adjacent to the front entry. There is parking in the back it is a little inconvenient, but not a major problem. A couple of other negatives: The whole room electrical is switched to a master switch so it's either all or nothing. It's a dream getting up in pitch black in the middle of the night w/no lights to go to the bathroom wo/lights. The other item is there are NO TOWEL BARS either on the wall outside of the shower or on the wall in the shower. It would be nice have something to hang your towel on either inside or after the shower. Overall I found it to be a clean no frills place that served our needs.

We went here after our original hotel reservations had to be changed due to the hotel's AC being broken. We were lucky because we got one of the last rooms availability on Labor Day weekend. The staff was very friendly and kind. The room was spacious and very clean. The bed had one of the most comfortable mattresses I've ever found in a hotel room. The continental breakfast was delicious and offered biscuits and gravy, waffle, eggs, cereal, yogurt, fruit and more. The views were spectacular. Definitely a great deal and 5 stars!

Horrible, horrible management. There are so many better hotels in the area. Everything about this hotel is unprofessional.

The hotel is at the end of town which is still a short 16 minute drive to Arches National Park.

Our room was spacious with a sitting area that included a comfortable sofa, and a chair and ottoman. The staff is incredibly friendly and jumped in to assist with any needs or inquiries. The breakfast was a hive of activity with staff that refreshed supplies as they dwindled, helped to tidy tables and made every guest feel welcome. Things to note: There is a large patio outside the breakfast area that is open to guests any time of the day. This space is a great spot to eat breakfast, watch the sun come up, to check out the constant parade of 4WD vechicles that come though town, to people watch, and to socialize at the end of the day; This location is perfect for walking just about anywhere in town; Numerous restaurants were a block or two away; Free parking at the hotel was plentiful; The pool and hot tub were wonderfully relaxing and were in a private outdoor space with some tables/chairs that were either under a roof or umbrellas that provided shade; A locked bike room was available; The coin guest laundry room was very nice to have on-site; The entire hotel was very clean and well lit. Will I stay here again? Most certainly. This area has so many places to explore. I can't wait to go back, and now I know of a great place to call my home-base.

They had no written or documentation of this when we reserved our room. We have stayed here once before. And we're never charged this. Rooms are clean but the tub drained so slow that you had to wait before the next person could shower. The beds were so lumpy and uncomfortable also. The only reason we are giving 3 stars is do to the friendly staff. Also we spent the night and morning listening to all the doors slamming shut. They need to fix this because people don't care to be quiet.

We usually travel with a pretty large group of 6-7 people. (Yep, 6-7!) So the casitas fit the bill perfectly. There was a nice full size kitchen downstairs, with a pullout bed option in the sitting area. There was a little dining room table as well. Upstairs there were multiple bedrooms with pretty comfortable beds and pillows. The bathrooms were also nice and the showers were powerful which is always a huge plus at any hotel. It also had a really nice pool area with a neat little whirlpool section that the kids really enjoyed. Everything was updated and modern so it was very enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a dog friendly, kid friendly resort, very close to the downtown area of Moab for easy access to shops and restaurants. This place is perfectly placed and beautifully built. The rooms were clean as were the bathrooms. Room service was very nice about taking all the trash and cleaning up the dishes. I only had one complaint and it was a fairly large one. The mattress in the king bedroom was lumpy and super uncomfortable. I spent 2 nights on it before my back completely rebelled. When I addressed this with the front desk, they offered a mattress topper to even out the lumps and this was a very good solution. I still highly recommend this place and would suggest to review the mattress right away if you have back issues - and it is for this reason I took off one star.

It's a short drive into town, but you will have to find parking in town, etc. The rooms are quite spacious as there is a separate sitting area with a couch, coffee table and desk, and the room is large enough to have two TVs (but you should be watching the same thing since the areas open up to each other). Breakfast in the lobby can be hectic as everybody is rushing to get out to Arches. I appreciate that they try to mix things up so you don't have the same proteins every day. They also have the standard selections: make-your-own waffles, oatmeal, greek yogurt + toppings, eggs, meat protein, breads (English muffins, bagels, slices of bread), peanut butter, jelly, cereals, etc. The hotel can be a bit loud as the pool closes to kids at 10p but is still open for adults until 11p, and our room faced the pool. There are no restaurants on premises but you can order room service from the Springhill Suites. There are other shared services with the Springhill Suites including a shared pool. The location is excellent for Arches - only about a 5 minute drive away.
