    Beautiful, quiet area

This place is worth it just for the drive alone. It is simply stunning. Our cabin was adorable, clean and well stocked. This is, simply put, a great place to stay. I would go back again and again.

My husband Keith and I just finished a 5 night stay at the Castle Valley Inn. We towed an off road vehicle from California to off road in Moab and we were worried about being parked in Moab, so that's how we ended up staying at the Castle Valley Inn which was about 15 miles outside of town. The owners Scott and Jennifer are very accommodating. We contacted them ahead of time to make sure they would be able to accommodate our trailer and razor. We stayed in the Wingate room which had everything that we needed. They have a signup sheet for breakfast either at 7:45 am or 8:45 am each morning which is served in a quaint little room that seats 12. They also offer to deliver your breakfast to your room if you would prefer. If you are leaving before the first breakfast time slot they also offer breakfast burritos that they will deliver to your room the night before and you can just warm up in the microwave when leaving. The breakfast each morning was delicious and fresh! Our room also had a Keurig coffee maker and a small refrigerator. We also loved having their dog Louie run up to get petted each day. It made missing our own dog Max not so bad. I would highly recommend staying at the Castle Valley Inn. We hope to come back again someday. Scott and Jennifer, Thank you so much for your hospitality.

We stayed here for the 3rd time in the last 10 years. We love the property, the location and our accommodations in the Anasazi Cabin. It's probably a 30 minute drive from Moab but the scenery (through the canyons along the Colorado River) is breathtaking. Great breakfast on the deck in the morning. Super peaceful and relaxing! Highly recommended.

What an amazing experience!!! Truly a hidden gem and without the help of Yelp, we would have never found this incredible b&b. It's a little off the beaten path and about 20 miles from downtown Moab but absolutely worth it. There is no cell phone service and the free wifi is hard to get unless you are on the main property but hey, that's kind of the beauty of it. It's nice to be off the grid surrounded by beautiful landscape. The innkeepers were wonderful- accommodating, friendly and when you sit down for breakfast, you will truly feel at home. Ps- the omelet recipe is online!! The hot tub is great for relaxing under the most incredible night sky I've seen in a long time. Apparently, Moab is home to some of the darkest skies in the country which means that there are TONS of stars. We literally saw 5 shooting stars in less than an hour. It was absolutely magical. If hot tubs aren't your thing, check the sky out from the hammocks. Not sure when or if we will get the chance to revisit Moab, but if we do there won't be a question of where to stay. It's that amazing.

If ur planning ahead and are adamant about top notch hospitality, a phenom breakfast amidst other travelers, trading anecdotes this is it!!!

Top notch all the way across the board! From the fantastic breakfast to the amazing hospitality...this stay was phenomenal! Will highly recommend this place to all! We chilled in the Anasazi Cabin. Then enjoyed the hot tub, which when imbibing in sweet CBD edibles...it's just what the Doctor didn't order but would probably give a nod!

Stayed at the Castle Valley Inn last summer during a part of a road trip. Paying a little more to stay here rather than right in Moab was one of the best decisions made during the trip. Jeanette & Jason were extremely accommodating, the property was lovely, the setting beautiful with little to no light pollution, the room was great, and the breakfast was AMAZING. If we could have we would have extended our trip and stayed there an additional night. I recommend this place to everyone that I hear is making a trip through the area. Edit: Years later this location is still the benchmark for the best place we've stayed.

Jenny is a photographer and took me with her to the best sunrise spot at Canyonlands. Matt made us coffee and wrapped up Jenny's homemade Zucchini Bread for the 5am drive up to what ended up being one of the most spectacular sunrises I've ever seen. Jenny also took me to a few more lookout points because I had only one day there. Food: WOW! I'm vegetarian and Matt customized the entire breakfast and some unexpected treats to my needs. Ginger pancakes with fresh applebutter and a veggie scramble on day one. For my hike to the Delicate Arch, they packed me an entire snack bag with water and mints! Next morning I needed to leave early, but Matt insisted on making me a breakfast to-go of a sandwich and fruit. They even shared dinner with me my second night when I came back early. Everything was natural, organic, consciously-gathered ingredients. Room: Nice, clean, cozy bedding and lighting. 6-7 water bottles, lavender bed spray, gorgeous stone lamp, tv, guidebooks and separate entry, and covered parking for my one car. Property: You can see the sunrise and the sunset right from their backyard, where they've set up chairs. Stunning!! Price: Very, very reasonable in this land of crazy-expensive, continental breakfast land. I cannot say enough about how much I enjoyed my experience at a Creekside Retreat. Thank you Matt, Jenny and Gabby--I hope to take you up on rock-finding adventures in the future!!

It was one of our best experiences from our recent trip. One of the most appreciated aspects of our stay is the easy check in and check out. The bed in the room was very comfortable and there were several types of pillows. The room is also flush with amenities: fridge stuffed with a large array of breakfast items, breakfast sandwich maker, Keurig coffee maker, toaster, water on each bedside table, eye masks, ear plugs (which weren't needed), and even an e-reader. Moab B&B is well located, in that it was about 10 minutes to drive to Arches National Park. The grounds are lovely with mountain views and beautiful plantings (the apricot tree was in full fruit when we were there). The owners are great re: communication.
