Looks even to me!
Kelli C.

RAY Kight should not be doing hair. Firstly, he tried to use a brush full of another clients hair on me. When I said I couldn't use that he asked me if I brought my own brush. What? There is a drawer full of brushes and combs woth over flowing amounts of hair. The combs had a white build up from over use and never being disinfected. He took the hair out n rinsed the brush in water then handed it to me. There is no disinfectant anywhere. He also suffered from tremors and burned my scalp several times with the blow dryer. He also didn't use a soft round brush to blow my hair out. He just moved it all over my head which made it HUGE and frizzy. I don't believe he has the ability to execute fine details because of some hand dexterity disabilities. I wanted a balayage but he doesn't know how to do that. So I asked for a root touch up. I told him I have 1" of virgin hair grow out at the root, plus 8-10" of brown box dye, then my regular blonde. My hair is naturally curly and course. When it's not blown out and straightened it feels dry...but it isn't brittle. It is similar to ethnic hair...It also goes down to my rear. He had to ask another stylist what to do. And how to apply the proper toner and color. He wanted to put it on my hair dry after bleach and send me home with it in. He put foils in without properly isolating and now I have bleed through into the hair that was underneath the foils. Then he improperly placed the hair into the foil and took hair that wasn't being bleached and the end and folded it into the foil with bleach. Tiger stripes anyone? I have a hot white root and then bands from where the box dye was. I told him to use 30 volume on the box color and to use 10 or 20 on the root the last 10 minutes and the pull it all through with the foil when taking them out. He left the bleach on 15 minutes... Welp, he used 20v on all of it and now my hair is ruined. His comment "it looks even to me" and "go home and blow dry it then let me know how it is. I think it'll be what you want" I immediately told him it was NOT right and he said "well, I'm not sure how to fix it" and then hands me his card reader and charges me $175. For some horrible mess and a 1-2" trim off just the bottom...NOT a haircut. I got home and sent pics of the mess. I called him and he said "you have a lot going on with your hair. You shouldn't have done it. The only solution I have is You need a good haircut and you should just dye it brown. You look better as a brunette in my opinion" um? You're right I shouldn't have come to you and trusted you. You told me you knew what you were doing! The bleed through alone is IRRESPONSIBLE and lazy. I didn't pay you to make me a brunette! I told him now I have to pay someone for a color correction..."You're not getting your money back! I offered you my solution" This guy is 76 years old, has tremors and it is obvious he cannot control the color process because of this. Banging around an applicator brush with bleach on it all over someone's head and then crunching up foils instead of properly folding them results in nightmares for clients. Then not having the skill to correct your mistake? He had no idea what olaplex was either. So, now it's going to cost me at least $400 to fix my hair. Ps-it doesn't need to be cut off 1. 2. Numerous stylists advised against dying it all brown. You go in with low lights and high lights in different volumes of bleach to fix the spotty areas and correct the banding. Melt color onto the root to fix the bright white and use the appropriate toner so that it matches my ends. I've been using box dye on my grey for 10 years. 3 other stylists had no problem just doing a root touch up on my balayage. I'm not the first person to walk in with brown box dye on their roots and blonde ends dude. Please Retire.

The owner Ray Ramos is an outstanding salon operator. He runs an amazing establishment. Every stylist in this establishment is well qualified. I have known Roy for 5 years and he will definitely take care of you! Great job Roy!

UPDATE: 8/09/2026 -- In response to the owner's comment: Your response makes it clear that you did not fully understand my original review, which unfortunately reflects the same communication issue I experienced while trying to book an appointment. I went back and forth attempting to schedule for weeks and tried to book on three separate occasions. When I finally called and someone answered, there was a significant communication barrier, and the call ultimately ended with the person hanging up on me. You're correct that I've never received a service at your salon--but that is precisely the point of my review. I repeatedly tried to become a customer and was unable to successfully book an appointment. My review is about the customer service and booking experience I personally received. If your salon is so heavily booked that you are unable to accommodate new clients, I completely understand. However, potential clients should simply be told that upfront rather than spending weeks attempting to schedule an appointment that is never confirmed. Professionalism begins before a customer ever walks through the door, and unfortunately, my experience trying to become a client was enough for me to decide to take my business elsewhere.

The check-in area has a coffee station, mini fridge, and some snacks. After I checked in, I grabbed a cup of coffee and was promptly greeted by Hailey. I showed Hailey my inspiration photos and what I would like done with my hair. Hailey explained to me that my original vision would probably not be the best option since my hair is on the thinner side. However, Hailey came up with an alternative option and she delivered! I'm so glad I followed her advice and trusted her expertise. She is professional, attentive to detail, thorough, and gentle! As a female, having a hairdresser who doesn't pull/tug/hurt means so much! I can't say enough good things about Hailey, she's amazing at what she does!

I am so impressed with Rania's work! I was recommended to see her by Jude who cuts my hair, but I was sold on the idea when I saw her portfolio on IG. I knew she would be able to safely lift my hair from its dark dark to as close to platinum as we could get. I had to schedule a consult before scheduling my session and it was honestly necessary to make sure we were on the same page about what I wanted, and to make sure I booked the right service. Rania was SO knowledgeable, and informative. She asked me questions i didn't think to ask, to make sure everything went smoothly and that she understood what I wanted. I never felt rushed, and I felt I had her undivided attention. The day of the service felt like such a pampering day, from the gown, to the snacks they had, to the head massage I got while she washed my hair. She was attentive and I truly felt like she loved what she was doing. It was such a fun day! I highly recommend Rania for any of your color needs! It takes a lot to win my trust since my hair is dark, and long and curly, but I will be going back to Rania without a shadow of a doubt.

I'm often indecisive about what to do but she takes my ideas and makes them into beautiful hair artistry! She is extremely patient and very thorough with her work. She has also been very accommodating with getting me an appointment that works- I drive about 45 mins and have a young kiddo so it's not always easy to do but definitely worth it. She's also friendly and kind and has become a friend! I'm so glad I met her when moving to the HTx area.

I emailed a photo that I wanted when I scheduled the appointment 6 weeks before. To be clear- I didn't want the brunette darker. She didn't copy the highlight placement beyond the front piece which I already had. How these haircuts even look similar to her is beyond me- I wanted those bangs and I got late 90s wisps. I asked for a gentle taper to the back but got a straight cut that looks more damaged than before. After 4 hours in the chair I wasn't about to waste anymore time asking for something she clearly couldn't deliver. If you don't want to rearrange all your plans to get your hair fixed by someone else, don't book here.
