I have been coming here for over ten years. In July I brought three dresses in for alterations. First they weren't ready as promised. No big deal. I took the ones that were ready and picked up the other when I could. I didn't need the dresses until August. Upon putting one of them on I noticed it had been ripped and sewn, along with skidmarks as someone had obviously run it over with a chair. (I had never had problems in the past so never thought to look the dresses over.) This was a brand new dress. Never been worn. I called, they said bring it in. When I did I was told the person I needed to talk to was not there so I had to come back. I went back and was told they had not done the damage nor had they sewn it. What?? It was brand new. Your the only shop I have been coming to for over 10 years?? They took no responsibility and refused to give me my money back which is all I asked for. I didn't ask them to replace the dress. You would think a customer for over 10 years, who has also recommended many people to them over that course of time would be worth $48. I am a very loyal customer and have always been. I obviously put my loyalty into the wrong business. read more

I took my wedding gown into Elegant Reflections a couple weeks before my wedding when my previous dress fell through. My coworker recommended them and I'm so glad she did. They were attentive, on-time and so thorough. All of their recommendations turned out to make my dress PERFECT. I didn't know I'd need it hemmed, but I did and it would have been way too long on wedding day if they hadn't recommended the hem. I didn't know it needed cups, but it did so I looked like I fit perfectly into the dress. I didn't know it needed boning and I'm relieved that they put it in because it didn't fall down at all during the wedding or reception. No pulling it up all night. Seriously, how does this place have so many wonderful reviews? All I experienced was bad service. I called a couple of weeks ago and explained that we needed to rush a couple of bridesmaid alterations because a couple of my girls were coming in a week before the wedding I asked if that would be a problem & was told no. I also asked for a rough number as to what it may cost and was told $55 at the most but it would probably be closer to $25. I know that it totally depends on what needs to be done etc but it ended costing one girl $75 and another $100! Anyway, I made appointments for two of the girls and figured we would be good to go. Boy, was I wrong! One of my girls was able to come into town earlier then expected so I called the store to ask if I could have her come in early. To my surprise there was NO appointments scheduled for either girl! They said they only schedule appointments for brides. They told me to have one of the girls come in anyway. We went in and they told us the dress wouldn't be done in time! WHAT?!?!? She said they were over booked already but they could "make a special acception". They said it would be done by Saturday at 3:30pm but to come back first thing Saturday morning to have her try on the dress again so they can see where they are going to hem it exactly. They went in this morning and were asked if they had an appointment?!?!? Well no cause last time you said that you don't schedule appointments for anyone except for brides and YOU told us to come back Saturday morning. This place could not be any less organized. Horrible service, horrible price, horrible customer service. For what we paid I was expecting WAY better! Unfortunately we do not recommend them and will never be back. read more

I decided to go with this alterations place after I saw its good reviews on Yelp, and the reviews were spot on! I bought a bridesmaid dress a size too small, and I was really worried that it wasn't going too fit (the zipper would only go up halfway). The lady had me try on my dress when I first came in, and she worked some magic! She had it done a week later which made me really happy. It seems like a place that gets a lot of business and should try yours too! I am getting married in a few months and think I will even take my wedding dress there. The only reason I rated it a 4 was that when I called in to reschedule my pick-up appointment the lady at the front desk at the time seemed really confused and I had to repeat myself a couple times, but other than that it was a great experience. read more

I had 5 pairs of designer jeans that needed to be taken in from flared to straight leg, and hemmed. Turned out awesome! Only one pair needed to be taken in a bit more and they fixed it for free. Just had a long bridesmaids dress taken in and hemmed, also had my husbands pants hemmed as well. I'm honestly very impressed with the prices, quality, and speed of service at this place. I had previously gone to 30 Minute Alterations to have a different long dress taken in and they did a very poor job filled with mistakes and it just looked sloppy. I needed my bridesmaid dress altered since I am pregnant and they were so welcoming and understanding. They did not make me feel bad or causing an inconvenience because I was pregnant. I can't speak highly enough about the ladies at Elegant Reflections. I have two very positive experiences with them. I bought a vintage dress (1920s) on Etsy that was four sizes two big. The fabric was very old and delicate, and lined with what looked like paper. They completely took it apart and remade it so it fit me perfectly. My daughter bought a wedding dress that was strapless and backless, and needed it built up with a higher neckline and cap sleeves. She was terrified that it would look like a t-shirt under a strapless dress, or like the sleeves were just added on as an afterthought. They listened very closely to her and the end result was beautiful. You would never know it wasn't purchased that way. I would highly recommend them to anyone. read more

My daughter needed her junior bridesmaids dress altered, I found this place on-line with good reviews so we tried it out. They had to adjust the straps (spaghetti) and bring the sides in all the way down the floor length dress. The price was amazingly good. One week later we went to pick it up and it was beautiful, I paid extra to have them steam it so I could make sure it fit well. Very happy with service and the price. read more

The only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 is because I would come in with an appointment but would have to wait about 20 minutes to get helped. These ladies are professional and polite. This is the fourth Prom dress we have taken in for alterations and they always do an amazingly professional job. One of the strapless dresses required major work with the bodice in order for it to stay up and be snug. Again, the work was done on time, as promised and it looked fabulous! My daughter had no concerns about being able to dance all night with the amazing fit. They are very reasonably priced also. I was afraid that we would end up spending more on the alterations that the dress itself. Fortunately, that was not the case. I recommend them to all my friends. read more

I called at the beginning of April to ask about a bridesmaids gown that I had just received (long story). The dress was a size too big and I needed it taken in a bit on the sides and have the shoulder straps shortened. The owner was very nice and told me I could bring it in that day. I did and she was very attentive and asked when I needed it. I told her the date and she said it would be ready two days before the wedding date. This made me a bit nervous, but she said if they finished it early she'd call me and since it was just a few small changes (taken it in to make it more fitted), I wasn't too concerned. I never received a call, so I showed up on the scheduled pick-up date. She had it ready to go, but asked if I'd like to try it on once more. I said yes and when I tried it on, I noticed it wasn't fitting the way we had discussed and needed to be taken in some more. I pointed it out to her and she agreed that it need more work and asked when I needed it by. I told her I needed it for my trip in two days and she said that I could come back and pick it up the next day before they closed. I showed up the next day and when I arrived, she didn't seem to remember who I was. There was a girl there waiting for her fitting in her prom gown and the owner asked if I "was only there for a pick up" as she "had to get started on her (pointing to the girl)". I said yes and I had initially wanted to try it on one last time just to make sure I was satisfied, but this clearly was not going to happen as she handed over my dress and asked for payment. Even though I felt uneasy paying without verifying the fit, I did and took it home. Once I tried it on at home, I noticed the stitching on the side was puckered and was inconsistently stitched as it had a strange indent. This delineation quite clearly marks where the seamstress had stopped taking it in and where the original stitching continues. I purposely drove over 45 minutes to go to her store as the reviews on here were outstanding and I am very disappointed with the results. I wish I could have spoken to her about my dissatisfaction in person, but her rushed behavior during my last pick up didn't allow for it. I wouldn't recommend this store unless you're in the area and just need something small altered without any pressing deadline. read more

This place was recommended to me when I bought my wedding dress, and I understand why. The work that they did on my wedding dress was beautiful and executed in a timely manner. However, I do not recommend this shop for others unless you can put up with one extremely rude women. Eva had been nothing but rude to myself and my mother in the five fittings I had at elegant reflections. Every other woman in the shop was very sweet and helpful. Eva, however always had an attitude and never once made me feel comfortable in the time that I was there. I will not return for any dress alterations in the future. I believe that in order to run a successful business you need to have a certain level of customer service and in the multiple times I was in this shop she did not exemplify this. At one point she hinted at how I should lose weight to feel comfortable in my own skin. On another occasion, when we had a fitting scheduled, we came in only to find that the dress was not ready. This did not upset me as I understand that things happen. What did upset me was the way that Eva handled the situation. She did not inform us that the dress wasn't ready ahead of time, and made it seem like it was a hassle on her part to reschedule us. I do not recommend this place purely because of that one woman and her awful attitude! read more

I took my kid's sweater in for a sewing job. I went to pick it up at the date they said it will be ready, and it was not even started on. I asked for a refund (at this point I wasted 2 hours driving time and a few days that they were supposed to do the work). The lady just said, "Here's your money." This business is absolutely terrible!! DO NOT GO HERE! They RUINED my $160 David's Bridal gown that I got altered here. The hem was done terribly and in addition they spilt what looks to be cooking or some sort of vegetable oil all over the front of the dress. The owner was with me when I came into the store and tried it on originally and there was absolutely no signs of oil anywhere on the dress when left in the stores possession. However, immediately after picking it up I found oil all over the front from the top al the way clear to the bottom as though someone had been cooking in my dress or someone left it in their kitchen and oil had got spilt on it. I was assured they were not responsible but I assured them that I had that dress shipped to me and it was in the original secure bag and in my closet since the date I received it and with the exception of the one time to try it on I never took it out of the bag. I also told them both the owner and I went over the dress and I again stressed to them that there were no oil stains when I left it with them. They refused to help and said there was nothing they could do, they were not responsible and sent me on my way. I was absolutely FURIOUS! I walked out and finally the lady came out and grabbed the dress out of my hand and said that the owner didn't want a unhappy customer so she said they would send it to a dry cleaner. I was told it would be ready it 2 days. 7 days later after a series of endless phone calls and countless visits to there shop demanding for my dress back, I finally got it back. When I did, the top is completely discolored almost black when the dress was apple red, the material feels like cardboard, the back is torn, it smells like it was not dry cleaned at all but rather sitting in someone's home It smells terribly!! I think honestly that someone took it home and tried to clean it in there own tried return it to me. They never returned the tags to me either and I didn't realize until I got home that they removed the tags from the dress. The owner tried claiming they had to remove the tags to have it dry cleaned?? The tags were no where near the area that needed cleaned so why again would a dry cleaners need to remove my price tags on the dress? Maybe because you took it home and attempted to wash/clean it yourself and in the end made it worse. I will NEVER go back to this store! So needless to say I never got refunded for the hem or the dress that I now need to replace because the wedding is in 2 weeks and I can't order the same style dress because that dress is out of stock with David's Bridal. I will be filing a complaint on the BBB site as well and I hope that this review is helpful for those who were considering using this place. Please do not risk damaging your dress at this place! They were terrible! Terrible customer service and now I am out nearly $200 on a dress! read more

When I was quoted $300-$700 for what I considered to be standard alterations to my wedding dress (shorten, bring up straps a few inches, etc.) by Suzanne's Bridal, I decided to look around. I'm so glad I did! This place is awesome. It definitely has a "mom and pop" feel to it and they do amazing work. They were very committed to making sure everything was perfect and even though we ended up doing a lot more "tweaking" to the dress than I originally anticipated, it was still loads cheaper than the bridal salon. The dress now fits like it was made for me and they listened carefully to all of my requests. They were even willing to alter my undergarment if necessary, but they ended up being able to cover it (dress has a low back) - but it just showed their commitment to making sure everything looked right. I could not be happier with the work, the price and the customer service. Ditch the overpriced bridal salon and come here instead. read more

This is the best place you could find! I came here 4 weeks before my wedding. I had a different place lined up, but they told me they couldn't honor my appointment. So I was totally stressed out, and the ladies at Elegant Reflections made my dress look PERFECT! I had the sides taken out, the bottom hemmed, the straps shortened, and about 30 satin buttons added. The dress looked like nothing was changed. You couldn't tell the sides were taken out or that the buttons weren't part of the dress originally. The bustle they added was great, and made it so I could dance all night and not worry about it coming loose. The customer service is amazing! I brought my maid of honor with me to my last fitting and they took the time to show her the best way to bustle my train to look the best. They even did it slowly so she can take pictures. This place is a total gem. It's so affordable and the best possible experience you can expect. read more
