I remember my mom's neighbor bringing it back from Italy in the 60's and mom paying her $50 for it. It traveled with us to every subsequent home for the next 50 years till it came to live with me. This wonderful shop owner couldn't exactly match the arm, but he came extremely close. He took great care in replacing it, and the chandelier looks great. It really meant everything to me. Nevertheless, I went in one day to look at potential new ceiling fan replacements. The selection is large, I'll give them that. But one thing they do I will not participate in - there is a reception desk as soon as you walk in and they want you to sign in (name, number, etc.). No, not if I am just browsing! I don't need to be on their mailing list or database. The salesperson I spoke with was sort of a hard-sell type. When I said I was just starting to spec potential brands and models, she lost interest very quickly. I guess they must all work on commission - and from the looks of it, probably directly with builders and interior designers. Lee Lighting isn't bad, but it doesn't seem to be built for retail customers. They are VERY old school and that just doesn't cut it these days. Oh, well maybe in Colleyville where they still think they should be pampered.

Along the way they also got a retroactive permit for my EV charger squared away with the city, so everything at my house is now permitted and inspected properly. The permitting process with the city took a while to work through, and JSR stayed on it the whole time. Alecia, the office manager, sent me regular updates for weeks without me ever having to ask. When things needed a nudge, Charles, the owner and master electrician, went down to the permit office in person to keep it moving. Dani in scheduling kept the appointments and applications on track. Matt and Gage, my installers, knocked out all the work in a single day. Then Gage came back the next day and patiently waited seven hours on site for the city inspector to make sure everything passed. It passed without a single issue. Fair price too. It's hard to find a contractor that follows through like this one did. Highly recommend.

We told her what we were looking for and she stayed sitting, pointing to multiple areas of the showroom, while basically telling us to look all over. We were interested in a jetted bathtub, which is technical enough that some personalized service would have gone a LONG way. The new showroom feels like a museum experience. They played great music and the lighting was just perfection. The art that they curated for this was really creative. The large metal Man climbing the rope at the beginning of the entrance was an excellently placed artistic touch. I took so many pictures because it was a draw dropping scene to behold. I'm absolutely excited to bring my clients back. The wood wall vignette was my favorite. Everything in it was gorgeous. They had some really fun fans up that were streamlined and not something I've seen in any other showroom. I like the selection of exquisite lights displayed and also love that they carry the full Hinckley line. Some really innovative and creative items. Lights fantastic for a fabulous remodel and showroom.
