But one thing they do I will not participate in - there is a reception desk as soon as you walk in and they want you to sign in (name, number, etc.). No, not if I am just browsing! I don't need to be on their mailing list or database. The salesperson I spoke with was sort of a hard-sell type. When I said I was just starting to spec potential brands and models, she lost interest very quickly. I guess they must all work on commission - and from the looks of it, probably directly with builders and interior designers. Lee Lighting isn't bad, but it doesn't seem to be built for retail customers. They are VERY old school and that just doesn't cut it these days. Oh, well maybe in Colleyville where they still think they should be pampered.

The permitting process with the city took a while to work through, and JSR stayed on it the whole time. Alecia, the office manager, sent me regular updates for weeks without me ever having to ask. When things needed a nudge, Charles, the owner and master electrician, went down to the permit office in person to keep it moving. Dani in scheduling kept the appointments and applications on track. Matt and Gage, my installers, knocked out all the work in a single day. Then Gage came back the next day and patiently waited seven hours on site for the city inspector to make sure everything passed. It passed without a single issue. Fair price too. It's hard to find a contractor that follows through like this one did. Highly recommend.

We walked past two other employees and NO ONE offered to help us with anything. Walked out within less than 15 minutes when this place of business could have easily made at least a $5k sale, had someone just offered to help us.

The new showroom feels like a museum experience. They played great music and the lighting was just perfection. The art that they curated for this was really creative. The large metal Man climbing the rope at the beginning of the entrance was an excellently placed artistic touch. I took so many pictures because it was a draw dropping scene to behold. I'm absolutely excited to bring my clients back. The wood wall vignette was my favorite. Everything in it was gorgeous. They had some really fun fans up that were streamlined and not something I've seen in any other showroom. I like the selection of exquisite lights displayed and also love that they carry the full Hinckley line. Some really innovative and creative items.
