Dropped off a tape recorder December 1st, and more recently 2 VCRs (one that I spent $50 on ebay for them to salvage the needed parts from). The waiting time to get a diagnosis is like 'Waiting for Godot', and both times after finally getting a callback (well over a month) was told "Sorry, there's nothing we can do". Adding insult to injury is getting stuck having to pay their bench fee - especially if you want to pick the item up and bring it somewhere else who knows what they're doing without having you play all these games.

The person working there was standing barely two feet away, talking to someone sitting on the couch. Despite my presence, he made no effort to acknowledge me. No greeting, no eye contact, not even a simple "I'll be with you in a moment." After standing there for what felt like several minutes without being acknowledged, I finally approached him to ask if someone could look at my laptop. His response was dismissive and arrogant. He said they were too busy and that someone could look at it tomorrow, ending the conversation with what seemed like a mocking smirk. I completely understand that a repair shop can be busy, but being busy is no excuse for being rude or disrespectful. A simple acknowledgment and polite response would have been enough. Basic courtesy costs nothing. Unfortunately, that seemed too much to expect here. Very disappointing customer service.
