I received a very quick response to my quote request (which was submitted late on a Friday…read moreevening), with good follow-up communication. I was given a price estimate and told that they would not charge if they were not able to complete the repair. They sent a tech out the next business day. The technician was friendly and professional and really wanted to get my scanner fixed for me. However, he was very upfront with me about the fact that the problem was more involved than he had expected and it was going to take longer to fix. He called the home office and got me an updated estimate, which was twice the original quote. Considering that my piece of equipment is very old, I declined the repair. The tech was good-natured and understanding and did not charge me anything. He even stayed longer to tinker with it a little more, carefully put it back together, and advised me on how it could be repaired by anyone with mechanical intuition and time on their hands by opening it in a certain place to begin disassembly. He seemed to really care about saving me money and getting me the best possible outcome. Overall, I was very pleased and would definitely use them again if I run into another problem I can't handle.

Very friendly and helpful customer reps…read more I really like that they are direct retailers for Herman Miller... I believe that they're the only ones on the island that are. I just purchased 2 Herman Miller Sayl chairs and 4 Global waiting room chairs with a custom ultraleather upholstery. The prices are higher because the furniture is better quality... you get what you pay for! The only drawback is the lack of floor models for you to sit on and try out. They have only a small selection to sit on. Check them out if you're on the hunt for furniture! They can help you select something nice and can plan out the space w/ CAD CAM drawings. I highly recommend them.

My firm has been using Xerox products for over 10 years, and though Ive only been with the company…read morefor about three years, but my experience with Xerox is nothing but great! When ordering toner and other supplies for our industrial Color C75 Press, I can either call a toll-free number (not located in Hawaii, but they are definitely on the Mainland, maybe in the South?) I love that you get a real person on the line that knows which company you're calling from and which machine you are ordering for. The other method on ordering is online; just enter a user and password, order what you need, and 3-5 days later supplies arrive! Both methods quote delivery time as 7-10 business days, but in my experience we receive in 3-5, if not less. For service, when one of our machines breakdowns, is making weird noises or printing oddly (streaks or inconsistent color distribution) its another toll free number, but I think they are located locally. You tell them what's wrong and they make notations to the techs on duty. Usually get a call back within a few hours to schedule for a tech to take a look. Now for local service, our current Honolulu representative is Jason I. He does a great job of answering questions when they arise. Its so helpful that their office is located in downtown, as there have been a handful of times when we ran out of toner before the shipment arrived and Jason was able to lend us a spare toner in the meantime.

Bought a black brother printer cartridge first time from here. The cartridge was not recognized by…read morethe printer. I called up the merchant and asked if they could deliver a new one since it takes an hour to going to their shop located in a poor parking rundown hard to find neighborhood. To my surprise, the one man show merchant was fully aware of a known product defect, specifically that "some chips in the cartridge don't work" and initially accepted responsibility. After I left a one-star review on Google, the merchant contacted me directly, acknowledged the issue, and clearly stated over the phone: "we don't deliver but don't worry about the bad cartridge, just come in for a refund." I was asked to show proof of purchase, which I agreed to do. When I requested a replacement be delivered, and the merchant declined and insisted that I visit the store in person. Today, I returned with the proof of purchase as requested. However, the merchant suddenly reversed their position, gave me the runaround, and refused to issue the refund--now claiming the defective cartridge must be returned, even though they had previously said it would not be necessary in exchange for them not delivering a replacement. This experience reflects poor accountability and a lack of follow-through on their own stated commitment to resolve a known defect. The merchant shop is like the incompatible cartridge, outdated, disorganized and incompetent. They sell CBD and some other nonessential stuff. The last review was over two years ago. This place isn't doing well for a reason. Needless to say, you just lost another local customer who wanted to support you.

Although, Young Scale Co.in addition also sells/service supermarket, food service/restaurant scale needs, as well as business money processing machines. I 1st met Yuni during her many years in business @ her old Wailalae Ave location, as she has always been my 1 stop scale company where I would know through past experiences that she would always follow up and take excellent care of my customers needs. Recently, I went looking for her shop and realized she had closed??? Having my "uh huh" moment I decided to search for her company on my trusty Yelp app. and upon realizing that she had moved, I decided to drive to her Kalihi location to "talk shop". Onwards, I stopped by and I entered through the ajar door, so I didn't have the need to ring the door buzzer intercom/video. After exchanging pleasantries, our small talk conversation lead her to tell me that she has been at her Hau St, location for 6 years now. Wow! Where have I been?
