Ridiculous Costs and Fees!!
Andreina M.

RIDICULOUS FEES!! I'm the only one living in my home. House is set at 77 during the day in this summer month. 74 at night and this is my bill? What are all these fees for? Ridiculous. Could not get a hold of someone to explain all these crazy fee. Never had I paid even close to this in any summer month for the 8 summers I have been here.

Very upset

The service worker showed me my cracked tire (oops!) and advised replacing that ASAP. All checks were done that needed to be done, and my air filter was replaced. I'm kind of confused by the signs on the windows that say tires because one of the service workers said they don't actually do anything with tires? A little pricey, not sure if they offer a military discount of any type (I did provide proof of service), but if not, it's not the end of the world. It's not that I feel entitled to it, but do want this information out there in case other veterans have this question because that was an expensive service for oil and an air filter. The store is clean though, and it's small and echoey, so if you need to make or take a call, please bring it outside. Receipt was supposed to be emailed to me, and much as I'd rather have that option, I might need to go back in tomorrow for the invoice because I never received the email receipt, even after checking to make sure my email was correct. You should probably just get the paper invoice to keep track of the work done. Just in case. Good experience overall though. Would recommend.

I've taken several different vehicles to Iconic Tire for a variety of services, and my experience…read morehas been mostly positive, although I'm not completely sold yet. I do feel their pricing can be on the premium side, so I would recommend comparing prices and asking questions before approving larger repairs. What I really appreciate is that they stand behind their work. On the occasions when I haven't been completely satisfied, they've been willing to take the vehicle back, address the issue, and make it right without charging me again. That goes a long way with me. They're also very convenient to my home, so I'll continue using them. Going forward, I'll just make sure I price shop and negotiate when appropriate. Overall, good service and accountability--I'd just like to see their pricing be a little more competitive.

The first time, my battery died in the Fry's parking lot. I called them and a guy came out right away. He performed a test and sure enough diagnosed a dead battery. He towed my SUV to his shop. He removed the old battery and replaced it with a new one that had a warranty for 36 months. Afterwards, I signed the paperwork and paid my bill, I was on my way! Fast forward to today, my car was intermittently starting when I tried to start it. I think my battery was almost dead. I managed to get it started and drove to Iconic tire. The same guy who came out to my car last time is the same guy serving me today. He's a very nice soft spoken gentleman. He immediately took the time to serve me and diagnosed a dead battery. He checked his inventory and located a replacement battery. It was expediently replaced. As my battery was only 29 months into my 36 month warranty, I expected a prorated price towards my new battery. But the tech explained it wasn't their policy. My battery was FREE! The only thing I had to pay was labor to install it. A mere $50.00! The only other stipulation was the new battery was only warranted to the date of the old battery. No problemo! I received a new battery! I just love this place!

Even though my original Firestone tires have been discontinued, the store has a different set that was close to the all season tires I bought in 2017. So a couple of things here: 2017 is a LONG time to drive on any tires. I don't drive a lot but the Arizona heat is brutal. The fact they survived this long is an impressive testament to Firestone's quality. Also, I received a veteran's discount, which I really appreciate. Mike and John were both wonderful professional, kind, and funny. I enjoyed the service, and I have no complaints. Oh, but something important to note: my father in law came with me to put these tires on his line of credit (so I can pay him back), and his APR went up to 39%. If you're someone who lives off credit cards right now to make ends meet, I'd recommend thinking a bit before applying for that credit card. I don't feel 39% is worth the value, even if you do need this work done. Aside from all that though, this was still a 5/5 star experience.

Now I went to get my brakes and rotors replaced and I can't take my front passenger side tire off because they tightened two lug nuts so tight that they're stripped. I don't know if the hub or the lug nuts are stripped. I made an appointment for Sept. 11,2026 to check it out. What's sad is that they didn't even let me know. That's how I know they are guilty. Plus they are the only ones who have touched my tires. I have a spare tire but if I would've gotten a flat tire I wouldn't have been able to change it on the side of the road. Definitely No Stars. They better fix this situation or this is the beg of their last days fucking over me and my people. We're going to get them shut down.
