At the center of it all: Raygun -- barber, warrior, absolute menace (in the best way). Fresh off getting her tubes tied, she still showed up to work like the little badass she is. Any reasonable person would've taken the day off. Raygun? Nope. Clippers out. Pain ignored. Hero mode engaged. She was running a bit behind -- understandable when you've just survived a medical boss battle -- but she was still out here taking care of her people like a true protector of the fade. And then... cue the backup hero music. Just when things looked like they might get overwhelming, George swooped in, cool, calm, and clutch, stepping up to cut my hair like the reliable sidekick-turned-co-hero he clearly is. No hesitation. No chaos. Just smooth teamwork and flawless execution. It felt like watching a comic book team-up: Raygun holding the line, George dropping in to save the day, and me walking out with a clean cut and a front-row seat to greatness. I drove by this place many times. Really excited by the outside appearance of the shop. Killer neon's in the window... I finally had enough and decided it was time to get a haircut. I used to go to the pricey place in the mall and sit for 30 minutes after my appointment start time... and pay way too much for a decent haircut. Well, that all stopped today. I walked into the shop this morning and met Issac. He was moping the already spotless floors. I was really happy that he was friendly and spoke very well. He got me in a chair right away. Asked what I was looking for and listened to everything I said. I felt right at home. The guy really knew how to give a real haircut, had a nice flow of conversation... and before you know it I was walking out the door with the best haircut I have had in years. Not only was it a decent price, it reminded me so much of the old days. A quality REAL haircut. I'm not going to fear going to get my haircut anymore. I've been getting my work done at Electric Haven for the past two years now. I started my work with an artist who is no longer at this shop, and when he left I decided to keep my business with Electric Haven, rather than follow him to his new shop. I have just been continuously impressed by all of the artists and barbers there. For the past year I have been getting my work done by Adam Dorsett, the owner of the shop. He is absolutely phenomenal. He not only does amazing work that goes above and beyond your expectations, he is just a genuine guy. Definitely the kind of guy you can trust. He's a great businessman, and conducts his business very well. Tattooing isn't a "job" to him, it's a career; a way of life. The shop is always clean, the staff always friendly, all of the artists do amazing work, and it's a professional atmoshphere with a laid back attitude. I highly recommend it to anyone in the market for some new ink, or just looking to get a clean cut & shave while sipping an ice cold beer. :) read more

I am an Arizona native and I traditionally like to let my hair grow out for the winter and then get my haircut really short for the summer. I had found Electric Haven through Instagram as I had seen a specific barber's haircut and really liked his work. I went into the shop the other day and all of the barbers that I had gone to before were gone. When I asked where I could find them I was told "I don't know where they went". I considered getting a hair cut but when I asked how much it was and I was told $20. I got my haircut here a few months ago and it was $15. As a customer who likes to tip, it is a lot easier to get a twenty dollar bill and be able to give your barber a five dollar tip. I know it sounds silly but it completely throws everything off. I thought about getting a haircut, but I didn't like the idea that all of the barbers I had liked were no longer there. I am not sure what has happened to force so much change but I don't think I will be returning, sorry guys! read more

Don't go to Nathan. I used to love these guys, until I was threatened. I schedule three different times because I run a business so I had to miss it, in stead of being understanding he told me About how he missed out on the money he could of made that day. Grow a pair of balls dude, if someone doesn't show up make phone calls n move your schedule Around instead of blaming your clients. Unmanly thing to do. Grow up. And his friend threatened me saying he's close to hitting me and getting the fuck out. I'll never come back there again. Very un professional. I run a business and I would never talk to my clients like that. The tough guy attitude doesn't work and in Nathan's case the cry baby attitude don't work either, u handled the situation like a child, all in your emotions and feelings. I've tried other barbershops, I've tried the dreaded Great Clips, and I keep coming back to Electric Haven. Even after moving out of town.. Rick is the sizzle. To be very direct, the place is always clean and they have their own style and flavor to the shop but it's not overwhelming - they are friendly and open to anyone visiting. And to give a huge shoutout to the crew and especially Rick - he was cutting a boy's hair when I came in early for my appointment. The kid was autistic/special needs and Rick was patient, friendly, going above and beyond and the kid was so damn happy with his haircut and his new style! It warmed the heart. I constantly recommend this place to friends and am finally doing it on a larger scale - you owe it to yourself and to the guys at this shop, go check it out and chat it up! read more

This place is amazing, not only are the artist inside amazing at their skills, but great people to talk with as well remembering who you are. I have been to many that just get in, shut up, done, get out....this place is my next family in town! I also get my cuts and straight razor shaves done once a month and its the best I have ever found. And I get a lot from travel. All in All...great place for your one stop Tat, Pomp, Shave!! I have been coming to Electric Haven for years now. They offer clean haircuts, affordable service, and their barbers will take the time necessary to line you up and make your haircut right. They always have cold beverages in the fridge, something on the TV, good music, and interesting conversations. I have sat with George, Austin, and Chivo - all have done an amazing job and I would highly recommend them to anyone! George gave me a haircut and beard trim two months ago before my wedding. Not only did the haircut turn out perfect, but the styling held for a full day of pictures the next day. I will continue to drive out of my way for this place! read more

This place is a Gem... A place you'd typically only find in great cities like Manhattan and others in the states, or similarly in Europe. A Friend had a cut by Electric Haven and from seeing his cut, I made an appointment for myself. I have to say that my experience was 5-Stars. Aaron truly took the time to listen to what goals I had in mind for my cut and he delivered with superior precision. These guys really take their craft seriously and it shows. I went into Electric Haven for the first time today. In fact it was my first time into a tattoo parlor ever!! I was nervous and very unsure about what o wanted done. I was lucky enough to work with Adam, he was patient and kind while I did a back and forth game! After finally deciding I was going to get my first tattoo Adam sat me down and went to work. He was quick and it turned out perfect! While I did enjoy the feeling of getting the tattoo, I did enjoy working with Electric Haven! My brother-in-law passed away in December and I wanted to get a memorial tattoo. I found an image that I liked and sent it to Adam with a few ideas to make it personal. My husband, sister-in-law and brother-in-law both liked the image and decided to do the same thing. We went in to meet Adam on Saturday and were extremely impressed with him and the shop. Today, the four of us got our tattoos and we couldn't be happier. Adam did 2 of them and KC did the other 2. The tattoos are amazing and the experience is one we will never forget. Austin is my go-to barber who always delivers and listens to any changes that I want to make - if you want a sure thing go to Austin!! Quality old fashioned style haircuts with fresh razor shave if you want it. Good vibes, good music, and great prices. Last I checked $20 for a cut. I got a top notch hair cut with Austin there at E.H. They recently made changes to the barber team. So now Austin and the current crew of barbers are spot on. I watched the other barbers too and their professionalism with other clients is great. You always find some whiner posts out there. However, Rick is definitely my go to for a clean and meticulous cut. Yes, they've raised their prices, but good work is worth the dollar. This is a tattoo and barber shop! I came in for a tattoo, which was done very very well by Adam and my husband got a haircut while he waited for me. The shop is very clean and everyone was friendly and having fun. I have already booked another one. The old time feel to this place is great! read more
