Wanted to find somewhere I could go swimming for Memorial Day weekend, decided to pay monument…read morevalley pool a visit. It costs $15 for adults to get in, could it be cheaper? Sure, but it's a very clean pool with three water slides and a diving board, also they have chairs for patrons to use (the nice reclining ones, not crappy ones). It's a fenced in pool with plenty of room to lay out in a chair or on a towel either on the grass or the concrete surrounding the pool. The pool itself reaches about 13 feet at its deepest but is sectioned off for different level swimmers. Parking wasn't bad, there's a small lot for the park and also side street parking. Outside the pool is a park itself to visit either before or after swimming. Feels to be in a safe secure location, would definitely recommend visiting either with friends family or even solo.

Clean pool, nice grass…read more Inconsistent pool policies, pool capacity is 125. There were about 15 people in the pool at 3:30 and they kicked out everyone in the pool because 20 more people wanted to come into pool area. 4 lifeguards. Just very confusing why pool had to close when at 2/5 of the capacity. Was given 5 minute warning that pool was "closing but you can try to come back at the top of the next hour" More warning would've been nice :) Overall a nice spot but the guards were saying the pool closes every 2 hours, $15 for 2 hours might not be worth it. Decided against getting the season pass because of this info, there are other pool season passes that are cheaper and don't kick you out.

Amazing public pool…read more We went most recently for the hot springs day and it was an incredible time. They had a ramen food truck (which was fine) and free coffee and hot cocoa. We have also been here as a family during the summer and the pool is lovely. You would want to come early and get a nice shady spot because they will be taken up fast. My kiddo had to do a swimming test to use the diving board in the summer and she failed both times so she had to stay in the larger shallower end of the pool. I appreciated their dedication to safety.

This review is from a Texan native. We are here on vacay. We were thinking of fun stuff to do in…read moreDenver outside of hiking trails and found this place! We went on a hike first then decided to come here after. We didn't realize it closed so early on a Saturday, we should have checked. We got there at 4:30, so only had a little to be there. Also looking at prices on this yelp, they have gone up significantly. I see people complaining about $10 a few years ago. It was $25 per adult this time. That was crazy to me, but we had already made this plan and had driven 45 minutes for this, plus it's in the vacation budget. If I lived here I would not come back because of that price. Also if you don't have a towel, they cost $20. This place is beautiful and I loved my time here, it will be a great memory, but that price is crazy. If I come back to Denver I may look for another place that may be like this.

The pool has a zero entry point with some fun sensory play. The changing rooms are pretty basic (showers, bathrooms, changing area), but were clean. You can reserve shaded picnic areas as well as shaded lounge area otherwise there is little to no shade at this pool. This place also has a snack bar. Overall, it is a great spot for families with little kids.

Lots of parking and nicely landscaped grounds whether you want to sunbathe on a chaise longue on the deck, or go spread your towel under a tree on the grass. Sweet little concessions stand, and very friendly staff everywhere. Cons: Two big problems with this pool. One, no "family" changing room, yet a strict rule against opposite-sex children in the bathrooms. My son is 5 now, so I can take him with me into the women's restroom to change, but once he turns 6, he'll be on his own. Boo. There are a zillion deck chaises provided, but only a few are adjustable. The vast majority only lay completely flat. Also? COLD!!! When we were there recently it was 90+ degrees outside but the water was freezing cold and my son's teeth were chattering within minutes. Even after several attempts to help him "get used to it", he was asking to go home after only an hour there. UNUSUAL for him - he normally wants to stay at the Ridge pool for hours. So.
