We went there after 11 pm. The staff does not speak in English. But waitress brought iPad and showed us some pictures of menu. So we were able to order our food! Chorizo was good. Streak had a wonderful flavor without using any s&p. I could be wrong but Argentina seemed cool slightly more than the states. Example, if you order medium rare, it likely cooked as more medium. The seats are rustic style metal chair. So it may not be so comfortable for girl with dress. AC ducts was dripping water on the table. So we could not sit cushioned seats along the wall. Waitress was fine but I would not say she was friendly... this is the first restaurant that you CAN include tips on your credit card. Most of Argentina places, you need to leave tips in cash. This place is located smaller street. Easy to miss it and no other restaurant were not near by.

My husband I ordered two steaks medium and while mine was cooked perfectly medium, his came back well done. We made the huge mistake of sending it back bc not only did his new steak come back unseasoned (tho medium), we suspect it gave him a horrible bout of food poisoning as it was the only food we both didn't split that day. Guess we learned our lesson from not sending food back ever again!

This is probably one of the best steaks I've ever had in my life. I usually tend to order a filet cut and this pretty much matched it in flavor, texture and thickness of cuts. It had a bit more fat which only made it that much more delicious. We ordered the simple salad- mixta and it was the perfect accompaniment. My husband and I shared one 500 g steak and a salad after walking around the city and it was absolutely perfect. Beyond this the decor and atmosphere is wonderful. I fully recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal!

Closed for good due to covid. Super sad as this was a great place to go. Maybe one day they will open again

But a little heads-up if you're visiting: learn how Argentinians order their meat. If you ask for jugoso, it'll land somewhere between rare and medium rare. Al punto is closer to medium, sometimes even leaning toward medium well depending on the kitchen. And well done. Honestly... don't even think about it. Another tip: don't rush to order sides. Unless you're just getting a salad or you're sharing with more than two people, one plate is usually more than enough. Around here, they believe in feeding you properly and they definitely deliver.

More food than we could possible eat. Skip the empanadas and go with the olives and skewer and you'll be full.

This is predominantly a chorizo sandwich shop that also serves a large amount of steaks but it is counter service mostly (right across from the smoking hot grills) with I think just two tables in the back. They were very nice but this is sort of like fast casual downgraded a couple of notches. It is super hot in there because of the grills but the food was good and pricing was amazing. They serve you three different sauces to go with your choripan - the traditional slightly spicy red chimichurri, an oil and garlic sauce with fresh herbs, and then the standard finally chopped up onion tomato and peppers in vinegar. The menu is garrish looking as it is an oversized placemat that has been laminated. One large piece of French bread with the grilled chorizo and three sauces was only 50 Argentinian pesos - $2.50 US. You certainly aren't needing to pay for ambience but this barely covers the cost of the food and labor! This place would be great in the winter down here - June or July - when it is cold out and you can use the heat from the grills to warm yourselves, however in the summer it's brutal in there. Thought I was going to pass out it was so hot. It certainly makes you not want to linger.
