I was blown away, I got chicken tacos, that were amazing, the beans and rice tasted homemade, the service was very friendly. This place could survive in Southern California. read more

My friend and I traveled to Sturgis MI to run some business errands and came across this awesome place located right off the main drag. We walked in and greeted and sat immediately. This is a quiet little place that has AMAZING food! For starters they give Chips and Beans rather than salsa - this was so good! They also brought a bottle of salsa verde that was to die for, I really wanted to ask for a bottle to take home! I opted for the Chicken Fajitas and they were really good. I believe they use peanut oil to cook the chicken and veggies in which is my favorite. It also came with rice, beans, tomatoes, lettuce, and sour cream with corn tortillas. My friend got pork and chicken tamale and he said they were really good! I would highly recommend trying this place out! read more

I've eaten in once & taken out twice. The waitress who is always there it seems, isn't super pleasant. A smile goes a long way! Instead you kind of feel like you're wasting her time. I order shrimp tacos & quesadillas here... so good! I add cheese, lettuce, and sour cream for an additional cost. Otherwise they come with cilantro & onions, I believe. Red & green sauce on the side. If I have a hankering for authentic shrimp tacos or quesadillas, I come here! When we dined in, though, my husband ordered these rolled tortillas with meat (can't remember the name) but received tortas instead...which are completely different. He wasn't a fan. Overall, a 4 for the taste of the tacos & quesadillas... but if I were to focus more on atmosphere, presentation or personality... it'd be a 2 or 3 star rating. read more

I've seen the name of this place for a long time, but never saw the actual restaurant until now. It's hidden away behind some other businesses. Place is clean and tidy. Smallish, but not crowded. We went for lunch and ordered off the lunch menu. Right away, the young server brought tortilla chips and a serving of delicious refried beans. With that came two sauces in bottles. The green sauce was mild and herbaceous. Great for those who don't want spice. The orange sauce was spicy and hot. Yum. My tacos were good. I told the server to surprise me with the protein. He brought chicken. This dish came with refried beans and rice. Not just plain white rice or yellow rice. This rice had chunks of carrots and peas. The seasoning was perfect. My friend had enchiladas in green sauce. She said they were good, but the chicken was a bit dry. We'd both order the same thing again. You pay at the counter. They have ApplePay. Looking for GOOD carne asada? Look no further! I was so impressed with the meat here! Flavorful and far from dry--an awesome carne asada burrito. I've had tacos in a lot of places, including some really amazing places in Southern California, and I'd say this carne asada is on par with the best I've had! YUM. The tastiness of the food makes the ambiance well worth it, even though it was so cold when we ate there in winter that I had to keep my jacket on the whole meal. I'd still rather eat here than Fiesta Mexicana, even though their dining area is much nicer. read more
