Nice little restaurant in a small strip mall. The wait staff was new but very nice and willing to serve. The food was tasty - flavorful and fresh. The guac could have used a bit more salt but it had texture and lots of avocado. The enchiladas and burritos were very good. The only sub par item was our 'gold margarita' - bland with no salt around the rim. Next time go for the cold bottle of beer if you want an adult beverage. read more

Best to avoid. With so many other restaurants around this place should not even be an option. My wife's order was oily and soggy. My order was cold and oily. This was our second visit, our first visit was opening day years ago, and we had a similar (not as bad) experience. We had hoped the kinks were worked out. The food is excellent! It is almost the best Mexican restaurant in the area. They are very accurate in filling the food order and the food does arrive fairly quickly and hot. The food portions are a bit small for the price and the service is not so great. It is supposed to open at 11:00 on Sundays but no one is even in the building until around 11:30. It seems to take forever to receive your drinks and when you're ready to leave, you just about have to beg to receive your ticket. My husband and I had to stand at the register to force the issue. The staff is very polite but they seem to be very short-handed. If you want great tasting Mexican food I do recommend but only if you have the time to patiently wait. read more

I really can't complain. We were immediately seated and given complimentary chips and salsa while we considered our menu options. After placing our order, we were served a second basket of chips and salsa. Within minutes our food arrived at our table hot and fresh. Everything tasted good. When you are done, you don't even have to wait on your check. Just go up to the register, they will have it there when you are ready to check out. This is (in my opinion) the way restaurants should operate. read more

The chicken mole was delicious! The beans and rice were pretty much exactly what I expected, and the tortillas are obviously fresh made. The only thing keeping me from giving that 5th star was the burn on my tongue from the hot chocolate that kept me from fully enjoying my meal. What a disappointment. Not sure how you can mess up Mexican food but they sure did. Service was really awful from the moment we came in and were NOT greeted. The person we are guessing was the owner asked a very clueless boy to set up a table. The place was small and not busy yet it took forever to get our drink order taken. It's hard to say what was worse the tasteless food, or the margaritas that seemed to be missing alcohol. The chips and salsa were passable. No one brought us our bills until we forced the issue by all seven of us standing at the cash register ready to go. Before eating we asked for a quote to do some catering, it never arrived. My travel companion and I were extremely happy that we stopped into this little "hole in the wall" Mexican Restaurant on our way home from a training event. The service was fast, the food was outstanding. I am especially fond of "hot" salsa, and they hit the mark on that as well. Horrible experience. We walked in stood at the door for about 8 minutes to wait to be seated as their sign states....with absolutely NO acknowledgement. When we are finally "seated" (the girl who finally decided to wait on us pointed towards a table in back and told us to go sit as she walked by us) the table was still dirty and needed to be wiped down. We sat there roughly 15-20 more minutes without so much as a drink order...while another family that came in after us was seated and waited on. We then put our coats back on and proceeded to walk out so we could find food for our children....again with absolutely no acknowledgement. In hindsight, I feel this is a blessing in disguise. This place just has gone from mediocre to horrible! Waited 20 minutes to get our order taken on a slow night. Asked 3 times if quesadilla for a kid could be chicken and cheese only and were told yes well when food came had veggies in it and not until the watched me pick them all out did the come check on us. Never saw again until it was time to get our bill oh and to top it off they charge a service fee for using a card! I went on a Saturday afternoon. There wasn't a single customer in the restaurant. I ordered a burrito & beer. The beer was cold and the waitress was nice . My food came out in about 2 minutes. I thought this was odd then realized why, it was cold. I could not understand why since it was the only order in the kitchen. I found a small piece of metal in my burrito, well that's where it started, I found it in my mouth. The waitress was very nice but just blew off my comments about the food being cold and something metal in my food. I would not recommend this place to anyone just for their own safety. read more

My family and I decided to give Margaritas a try one Sunday afternoon. We were greated promptly and were sat in a spacious comfortable booth....and that is where the good experience ended. We had a self declared "new" waiter who admitted to not knowing the menu or what the ingredients came with each menu item. When my wife ordered fajitas without sour cream....they were delivered with sour cream. The server never came back to the table to check on us the entire time.
