Real Fresh & Delicious Mexican Food Their Quesadillas are amazing I always order these to go. Chips are always fresh and crunchy salsa is just right on the spice. One word: Corn Tortillas..two more words: fresh and hot!! We came here for breakfast, and enjoyed a good breakfast, at a great price, in a comfortable, clean setting. In so many places, if you are less than 5 minutes from their "cutoff: time, it's a no go to order breakfast, but our very nice waitress let us order tacos served "til 11am" at 10:59! Only $1.25 each. my husband got two tacos with sausage, eggs and cheese, on flour tortillas. My breakfast plate with eggs, potatoes,fresh cotijo cheese,beans and tortillas was only 2.99. After 11am, the plates are still served, and cost a dollar more; still a great price. I made three tortillas stuffed with the food on my plate, for this great price. Again, the corn tortillas are exceptional; not the thin, limp things you get at other places, theirs are fluffy, smooth and delicious! We also had coffee and orange juice, and both were good. The place is relaxing, and there is a tv in one corner, but you can choose to sit away from it, and just enjoy a conversation. The restaurant was very clean. This is a good place for any group; we saw the waitresses bringing two moms and their kids some extra small cups, to share two large champurradas ( a hot chocolate-like beverage). There are so many good dishes on the menu, we look forward to coming back soon; soups, enchiladas, tamales, and sinchronizadas, which are stuffed tortillas. If you are'nt well versed in some of the dishes, the menu has photos and ingredients listed, too, so it makes it easy to choose. Had a great breakfast there this morning. Wait staff was attentive and prices were good. I think breakfast tacos were $1.25 each and served until 11am. The plates are served with refrained beans, eggs and potatoes. The potatoes were a nice change from the usual boiled then pan fried. They were stewed in tomato sauce with onions and chili. Very nice. Honestly wow I've been going there for a long time and I am very disappointed with them they charged me 5.00 for for lettuce and tomato on 3 tacos omg. 5 dollars are you kidding me. I wanted menudos and this place popped up on my search thru Yelp. I know that they usually only have menudos on the weekends. Picking my daughter up from work and we stopped by this joint. Been driving by it for a very long time and may have stopped by it 18 years ago before my daughter was born. The parking lot was almost full but got lucky. Walked in and they have a karaoke machine and it looked like a local hangout spot. Waitress at the counter in front came to my assistance immediately. I put my order of 2 beef tacos and menudos in.... paid (not expensive) l included top. It took 20 minutes or so to prepare it for to go. I wasn't gonna stay because l felt out of place and my daughter wanted to go home. Got home and the boy was l happy.... they gave me warm chips with salsa which l take is usually included. The corn tortillas was warm too and it went well with the menudos. This place is legit with it. They didn't just give me a lot of water but it was generous. When I read the reviews online I was thinking the corn tortillas were almost handmade. They were freshly made from a machine though so they were still really good. The red salsa that came with the chips is good, flavorful and not too spicy. I got the number 4 which is a piece of fajita and two enchiladas. The fajita is better than most taquerias in the area and the enchiladas were covered in a cheese sauce that could use some tweaking. The cheese sauce tastes like American cheese melted over the enchiladas, not Mexican to me but not bad. I went with my parents and they like trying new restaurants like I do so they were expecting handmade tortillas as well. They still liked the food and my dad cleaned his plate and liked the beans. My mom and I both liked the rice. They have Topo Chico! I was excited to see this in the chill fried because it's one of y favorites and not many restaurants have it. Such a great find! I would recommend this place for fajita tacos with corn tortillas and Topo Chico! read more

This has become by far the worst restaurant in our neighborhood. I would visit at least once a week but their service has become so carless! I ordered To-go and it took 30 minutes for the food to be ready (might as well have eaten there) then I bring my food home only for it to be the wrong order. I go back for my order and come back home and the order still isn't correct (menudo). Who can get menudo wrong? (THESE CARELESS WOMEN) so I call and tell them to credit my card back! That's two trips and over an hour later and I still did not eat! Oh and when I asked for the manager.... suddenly they are the manager lol wtf? I came to this restaurant for lunch and had the worst experience ever. I was told to seat myself only to have the waitresses attend to two other male guests who sat down after me. My order took an hour to be made. I was so upset that I was about to leave when the waitress finally brought out my order. While I was in line to pay for my food I made a few comments which got the attention of the manager Eric. Eric began to tell me that if I was upset with my experience I should of asked to speak with management. He didn't apologize for the poor service and he told me that it was my fault that I had a bad experience. He threatened to have me removed and banned from the restaurant if I did not fix my attitude and I went to wait outside only to have him follow me. I found this hidden gem on a whim. What's not to love fresh homemade salsa, as well as their fresh corn tortillas, and flour tortillas what! So good the tacos are good and the meat is always full of flavor. And did I fail to mention that the margaritas are only $3.99!! Its safe to say that my family and I enjoy this restaurant. read more

I've their chicken flautas and beef fajitas and they're both delicious. Their green sauce that comes with the flautas is spicy and tasty. Most staff speak Spanish here so it may be difficult to order but that just makes the food even more authentic. read more

Got some breakfast tacos from El Sol this morning for some co-workers... Pretty good portions and tortillas homemade just like my Grandma's. Salsa verde was also very good and had a moderate amount of heat. Makes them just that much better. Bacon and egg ran me $1.50 each and was a very reasonable price for good breakfast tacos. I have only eaten food from here one time. I did not go here personally, but someone else picked up an order to go. I had enchiladas verdes which looked more like cheese enchiladas; they were topped with white cheese and a few chunks of a pepper instead of the green sauce I was expecting. The chicken in the enchiladas was burnt; I don't know if the chicken was over cooked or cooked twice(first earlier in the day/week second when ordered), but at least they used white meat.
