Carnitas Juan Bowl and Margarita on the Rocks

Small place that is also pretty popular ice cream spot. A lot of small seating location along outside and inside. Atmosphere is laid back with a live singer! Not the best I ever heard. Food was pretty tasty and service quick. Not the happiest bunch behind the counter but dealing with tourists can do that to you.

El Sid is a wonderful spot to grab some delicious tacos. They food is great quality and incredibly delicious. We also had the chance to try their margaritas and their soft serve slushes. Everyone they had was delicious. We wish the size of the queso was a little bigger and be prepared for limited seating inside and out. Super friendly staff who were helpful in the choices we made.

Dreamsicle in a cup!! So delicious!

The Carnita tacos were some of the BEST we have ever had! We also enjoyed the special of the day, a delicious taco with fried green tomatoes, bacon & pimento cheese! John was so nice & helpful as we tried to figure out what to try! We even came back later to try the orange vanilla swirl ice cream that he recommended! We are so glad we tried El Sid Taqueria yesterday while we visiting from Lakeland! We will be back to try all the other options in their menu!!!

Carne Asada Taco & Carnitas Taco

Vero Beach-Talk about a tiny lil hole in the wall!! Yep, just how I like it! Delicious fish tacos! Lots of meat, cheeses, & cabbage! Hubby had the carne and the carnitas tacos. Really tasty! My only regret is getting the orange and vanilla slushie. Not great. This is actually why I was seeking this place in the first place! I had heard about their amazing slushies. I would definitely go back for the tacos, but would not order that again.

Empanada and Mexican street corn

Great local place! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Inside decor was unique and most of the seating is outside. I had the empanada and Mexican street corn. Both were excellent. I would come here again.

Best spot for fresh Mexican and real lemonade They also have soft-serve ice cream and pints to go

Quesadilla

Not a great experience at all. We will definitely be choosing one of the MANY other dining spots in Vero next time we're here (especially at the cost of 87$ to feed a family of 4 for the portion sizes received). Our order took 52 minutes from the time we paid until we received the food. The price is a little steep for tacos (a little over 5$ per taco) and we have had many authentic street tacos from various places. Not sure why some tacos, chips and guac and street corn took 52 minutes as these items when made authentically (review coming from a Mexican family) take less time than that to make. If El Sid was not located conveniently at the beach they would likely not do well. Only making this review to save the next family from wasting their time and money.

The service was good, the food came out real quick, and the people there were very nice, but the food just didn't do it for us.

It's in what's called the Miracle Mile shopping area in Vero Beach. Very nice storefront, we were immediately greeted and welcomed once inside. Both out of this world and like the Reese's old commercial together they tasted amazing. We also ordered a strawberry cupcake with white frosting and topped with coconut and a sliced strawberry on top. Looked and tasted wonderful. The restaurant has what is termed blue wave lighting so I apologize for the quality of the pics. I just didn't know how to escape the blue hue. Service was outstanding! We had a larger party and special care was provided to all of us in attendance. I started with the gazpacho, which was just okay. The paella though was wonderful. This Cuban influenced version is a bit different than the traditional Spanish version with which I have far more experience. My guess was the biggest difference was in the saffron which I didn't pick up here. Visually, and you'll have to trust me here, a wonderful presentation. A great time was had by all. Warning though, the portions are very large.

The steak we ordered arrived on a very hot rock that caused grease to splatter all over the table and our clothes, ruining a pair of shorts. We had to ask for a plate to manage the situation. When we spoke to the manager afterward, they mentioned that they were already aware of the hot rock issue but offered no apology, no discount, and did not seem to view it as a problem worth addressing. Just overall very disappointing. The food is decent but for a $300+ dinner, i expect a little bit more than that.

This historical restaurant is located right on the water - any closer and you'd be swimming. It's an old building full of history and fun stories on the menu of how it came to be. It's a special place and it's memorable. We've been several times for lunch and dinner throughout the years. This place has a beachy gift shop, a main waiting room with the hostess stand, an oceanfront indoor bar and lounge area, and the main dining room. For lunch, it's more laid back. The menu is sandwich-heavy but includes some non-sandwich items like fried shrimp plate, nova scotia scallops, and a special entree each day. It's a lot less busy for the most part during lunch in comparison to dinner. Dinner is a big to-do here. They open at 4pm for bar seating and to add your name to the dinner waitlist. If you want a table, especially one closer to the best view, you've gotta get there around 3:50-4 to get in line. They don't do reservations unless you're a larger party. You can then either leave and come back close to 5, or enjoy drinks at their bar if you're lucky enough to score seating. At dinner, the menu is definitely more extensive- featuring steaks, chops, and different fish/seafood specials. We love their prime rib, and the creamed spinach is perfect and old school. At lunch and dinner, don't miss out on their dessert tray presentation. The dessert tray has a lot of options - and it's a fun experience. Their bartenders are always nice and professional, and most importantly make a delicious cocktail. Cosmos, pear martinis, dirty martinis, all delicious each time we visit. Servers are also nice and professional too which lends to the charm of this old place! We had one bad scenario out of all of the times we visited regarding service from an assistant manager - but every other visit has been great! I love that they have GF options, like french onion soup made without the bread! On your way out, stop by the gift shop for even more goodies - their homemade blue cheese dip is not to miss! It's complementary at dinner, but honestly we like to buy extra for the house. They also sell dessert slices, and alcoholic beverages like rum runners, pain killers, margaritas, etc in two different sizes. Great to take to enjoy and walk down the beach!

A chime that we saw there was $65 - we found the same chime on Amazon for $25. I did end up buying a small gift for my daughter.
