Prices are good! Food was delicious and came out fast! Everyone was very friendly. I will definitely go back.

This is an excellent Mexican restaurant. The food is authentic and the service is excellent. The prices are very reasonable. We love this place. The staff is very friendly. They give you free chips and salsa when you sit down and they are awesome. Everything tastes great. Try this place at risk of becoming hooked. read more

We have been to El Rodeo a few times since it opened in the former Outback Steakhouse. We have always found the food to be very good and the servers to be attentive. The food generally arrives quickly (at times, too quickly!) and we have never had much of a wait for a table. There are a few tv's in the bar area and the bartenders have been very accommodating and have changed the channel to the "right" game when asked. Overall, a good spot with generally very good food. read more

I like this place. Since opening it has become the "go to" restaurant for our family and my favorite restaurant in town. The margaritas are superb-- the best in town, hands down. I like to be able to taste the tequila, not just the sugar. These are not too sweet, but, be forewarned, they pack a punch. The menu is diverse with the usual Mexican staples and many interesting items not found in the other local Mexican places. Can't say if the food is authentic or not but it is really good. The chips they bring out soon after you are seated are fresh. The salsa is ok. The food is not all that spicy. I like heat so I always ask for a dish of jalapenos on the side. The only negative comment I can make is that a lot of the food is quite salty. Been there about ten times and the service has been excellent each time. If you are a skier or tourist traveling on I-93 I recommend you check this place out. It's right off exit 14. If you are local, I highly recommend you check out El Rodeo and judge for yourself. read more

It was wonderful to have an authentic Mexican meal -reminded me of growing up in the Southwest! Great chips and flavorful salsa to sart, Mexican soda on the menu, and a wonderful selection of combination plates and specialty meals. The fried ice cream was good, too! The tamales were the best part of the night! Highly recommend it if you want real Mexican food and atmosphere! read more

My husband, sons and I have visited on a number of occasions and tried several entrees. We have always been greeted warmly and the service was great. The food was always hot and delicious. The margaritas, and we've sampled many of them, are always a great balance of flavors (depending on which one we order) and tequila. (Nothing disgusts me more than a margarita that tastes of mix and lacks any hint of tequila). Keep up the great work. We will be visiting again soon. read more

Best customer service! With amazing friendly people. The food is fast and delicious! :)

We recently had dinner here with our two children ages 9 and 10. Our wait was not very long considering it was a Saturday night. The wait staff was friendly, our waiter did not seem to know the menu, so one of our dishes was incorrect, however was fixed very quickly. We found the food to be very good, hot and fresh. I also ordered dessert to go (Flan) and it was really very good. I enjoyed the entire meal, as did my husband and both children. I did find the music a little loud and next time might inquire about it, if it is loud then too. Overall we really enjoyed our visit and were already looking forward to returning. We will definitely be back soon. read more

We had such high hopes for this place. It sadly fell flat. The free chips and salsa were just not tasty. We must have had the end of the batch of chips, because we got a ton of small, broken pieces. The chips were also not tasty, the salsa was ok, but with such small chips we really couldn't scoop it up. Our meals were just okay. I feel I could have made it just as well, and even better at home. A simple lime wedge on the side, or some fresh cilantro on top would have brightened up the whole meal and made them SOOOo much better. We will not be back, at least until we have forgotten hoe bad it was. read more

This was very disappointing. The waitstaff got us our initial drinks quickly, and manged to get our food out quickly as well. The service was almost non existent once we got our food. The food is nothing to rave about. It is average for New Hampshire. Way below average as far as Mexican food is concerned. I am a Denver native and have eaten true authentic Mexican in Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, Mexico. Seems like New Hampshire doesn't have a clue. Every Mexican restaurant we have eaten at is the same. This place claimed to have chile Verde. It was nothing more than a poorly made tomatillo sauce that had been sweetened. No heat, no spice. The chile rellenos were made with American cheese instead of the traditional queso fresco or Monterey Jack cheeses. The food itself was pretty bland. The refried beans were out of a can; if you have ever made them from scratch, you can tell the difference. So, we will not be returning. Taco Bell would have been a better choice. read more

This is the best Mexican in the area. Food is good. Drinks are good. Carne Asada is a little ick, but the carnitas are pretty good... a little dry, but good. read more

Food and service is good. The only problem is the prices on the bill were higher than the menu states. If they have had a price increase they need to redo their menu. read more

Been here several times and the food is excellent, well priced and served promptly. Service is great and the staff is very friendly.

This is a minor complaint but I think it should be addressed. When I ordered my meal I asked for sour cream to be put on it. It usually comes with a dab of sour cream so this was just a reminder because in the past it has been forgotten. When they brought my dinner they forgot it and when I reminded them they brought a saucer full and I discovered when the bill came they had charged a 1.00 for it. I think this should have been mentioned. I know this was a minor thing but I felt a little taken advantage of. read more

went here with my husband and two kids ages 15 and 9. walked in, was promptly greeted and seated. clean and spacious seating, the atmosphere was nice and welcoming, not overly "trying to hard to be mexican", it felt modern and yet authentic. the staff were all very nice and helpful, and the manager was funny and had a great personality. for drinks I got the rodeo mule, super yummy...like a citrus spritzed moscow mule, and hubby got a Margarita, he enjoyed it very much. but, oh the food....the food, the FOOD! I got enchiladas verde and he got the Pollo vaquero..let's just say it was amazing! my meat was raised to perfection, rolled in light fluffy tortillas and smothered in verde sauce with cheese, sour cream and lettuce. I even ate the refried beans and rice...and that NEVER happens. his chicken vaquero was super delish, the sauce was amazing and the cheese and mushrooms gave it this nice finishing flavor. kids got the burrito and taco kids combo, one chicken the other beef, and I have to say even those were beyond yummy...and it's sad to say most places seem not to put as much though in to the kids meals, well except here. they had the same quality ingredients, and presentation as the adult entre. It made me feel like this isn't just some pop up chain, the people working on the floor and in the kitchen really take their time and want to serve you a good meal, and appreciate all their customers, big and small. over all just a great experience and a wonderful meal....we can't wait to go back! read more

Food is terrific, staff is very attentive, and the drinks are great. It's about time Concord has a decent Mexican restaurant.

Went for lunch, it wasn't very busy, but the food was delicious and served promptly. Great service with a helpful server out on the patio! Would recommend this place to everyone! read more

Service was excellent, food ok (no where as good as el jimador). Margarita was delicious.

First time and I was not impressed. Food was bland and while the plate was hot, the food was only warm. I ordered the burrito, enchilada and tamale combo. The burrito was simply very finely ground beef (that tasted like it had been rinsed after cooking) and a flour tortilla with a bland, tin tasting sauce. No other ingredients. The enchilada was chicken (again unseasoned) wrapped in a corn tortilla. The tamale was bland and very gummy in texture. Granted I have lived in SoCal so my expectations may be high, but I would have preferred a "run to the border". Service was good. Will not be going back. read more

Took my daughter here to have lunch. To be honest I was leery because I had been here when it 1st opened and wasn't impressed at all. Thought I would give it a second chance, wish I hadn't. Ordered cheese nachos for an appetizer, really should just be called cheese and chips. Nothing about them said nachos to me. No sour cream, salsa , etc... My daughter is 9 so she opted for the cheeseburger off the kids section. She ate it all but even she was like what's up with the cheese or lack there of? I ordered a veggie quesadilla which is not made the way most of us think a quesadilla is which really is not a problem for me because I am open to new things. However , I'm not opened to the veggies sitting in a bath of grease. The end all for me was our waitress. It was not busy what so ever yet she walked by out table no less then 3 times and ignored our empty glasses at the end of the table. So half of our meal was eaten without having anything to drink. Needless to say I will never give this place a third chance. Better off getting frozen Mexican from your local grocery store. read more

I don't understand how people eat here. The food is horrendous. The red sauce is like canned dogfood...very similar to La Caretta. Just gross. read more

This was our first time coming to El Rodeo. It wasn't as busy as I thought it would be for a Saturday night. Started off with a house margarita which wasn't bad at all. Definitely did not skimp on the tequila but I didn't mind, not so much that it was undrinkable. I would much rather taste more tequila than way too much sour mix. For an entree I got a Number 3 which consisted of Two Hard Tacos ,One enchilada and one tostada (All Beef) The Food was on the table maybe 10 minutes after we ordered which was nice. The tacos had a very nice crunch to them and pretty good flavor without that sogginess texture like they had been sitting for a while. The Tostada was tasty however not how I like my tostada (Like Em with some crunch) And the enchilada was pretty good as well. For dessert I got the Xango (Fried Cheescake for those who don't know.) Which was pretty damn good and did not have that overly sweet flavor like many desserts do. Overall the food was good with good flavor without an overwhelming amount of spiciness. Portions were Just enough to fill you up. The waitress was very good. Checked in a few times and was very attentive. I would definitely come back and eat here again and I got the impression that the rest of our party felt the same way. I give it 3.5 read more

Two recent visits, table service is awful!! Used to be good, food still good. Servers need training. Running around and never return to your table. One party was 11 people, most recent 5 people. I will give them a year off, plenty of other places to go. Really disappointed, did not used to be this way. Recent server number was 201, check 2056. read more

I saw some reviews from folks obviously looking for tex-mex and felt the need to reach out. If that's what you want go elsewhere, because this place is the real deal. Maybe hit up a Denny's or something - I can't really help you with that. I admit I have my favorite which I wont share partially because of some fear that if you get it I can't! I've tried several menu offerings. All delicious. I've hit maybe 50% of the menu. It's super fresh food with just enough of that tweak that real Mexican food has to make it your "can we go there?" lunch or diner place. The guacamole isn't overwhelming (I don't need lime to make my eyes water nor cilantro to do the same, its supposed to be seasoning not the main course), the beans aren't so over seasoned or under cooked to make them unpalatable and they have that nice flavor that makes you eat them up & scrape the rest up with chips, the rice is YUM just YUM. I am a frequent flyer along with my best friend & I must say get yourself a Dos Equis amber on tap and chow down on the fresh chips and salsa (despite americanized salsa it's the real deal) and order something amazing from the menu because it's all amazing - just don't order my thing! Just in case! read more

I couldn't wait for a Mexican restaurant to open in Concord since the two that are already in Concord, I would NOT consider authentic. So when the El Rodeo opened last year, I rushed in and ordered enchiladas rojas. The chips and salsa were very fresh and the wait staff are as friendly as friendly can be. The drinks were amazing and the bartenders are quite knowledgeable and sweet. Since my first visit, I have been back many, many times - this place offers very authentic cuisine. It makes the other Mexican places in Concord pale in comparison. The food is fresh, the staff is amazingly attentive and helpful. I have a great time every time I step foot in this place. I have recommended this place to my colleagues and friends and together we frequent this place often. THANK YOU Jesse and Gilberto - this place rocks. I finally feel, for the first time since moving to Concord six years ago, that I am getting a piece of home - Yes, I am full-blooded Mexican in a city that has not yet embraced diversity in their restaurants. One quick note, I went to NYC and had an awesome drink combination of Sangria and frozen margarita and asked El Rodeo bartender if they could make it for me. Not only did they make it with a smile and eagerness to please a customer and to offer a new drink, but the drink was actually better than the one I had in NYC. I am impressed and so proud to have this caliber of restaurant in this city. FINALLY. Thank You El Rodeo staff. The place is clean and decorated with a latin flair. The music and wait staff make me feel like I am eating in a little place in Mexico. Run to this place - trust me, it is authentic!! I read Marc L's review of El Rodeo and all I could say to his review is - really!!! read more

Great food, comfortable atmosphere, and fun friendly service. My new favorite Mexican restaurant outside of Mexico.

El Rodeo has the most authentic Mexican food in town and is very good. The tequila selection is impressive and drinks are delicious. The waiters are nice but service is often very slow. read more

My husband and I love coming to El Rodeo! He has food allergies (dairy & gluten) and they are more than accommodating and always make sure it is correct. GMs Juan Carlos and Alex are always very friendly making sure that you're having a great experience. Portions and price are great. The outdoor patio is perfect for the summer. Location is easy access, plenty of parking, service was fast and very friendly, food arrived very quickly and was as described in the menu, food was very good quality and well prepared and presentation was very good, prices are very reasonable. If I found any down side to this restaurant it was that the food may have arrived too quickly and that they keep the temperature of the restaurant a little chilly for my liking. I have learned to bring a sweater or light jacket when visiting this establishment. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in, around or visiting Concord. read more

I love mexican food so i was really excited about this restaurant opening up in a convenient location (not downtown concord). Enjoyed my meal and will definitely come back for more. However, I was disappointed in the decor; very dull for a such vibrant culture. In some places around the restaurant I think the decor was confused on whether it was Italian or Mexican...the brown walls, tiles, and cliche house plants. As they say, 'people buy with their eyes'. read more

My husband I love El Rodeo! We've been multiple times and their food and service are always great. The waiters are always attentive and the wait is never too long. The prices aren't too bad at lunch, but I know they do go up a bit for the dinner menu as expected. read more

El Rodeo is El Delicio!! My husband and I stopped here with our son on a Tuesday night after running a few errands. We immediately noticed upon walking in that El Rodeo was not your average Mexican restaurant. It was clean, fresh, and authentic looking. The place was pretty empty but that was to be expected on a Tuesday. We had unmatched service from a staff that automatically new when we were running low on chips, salsa, or drinks. We didn't even have to ask! Within 5 minutes of ordering, we had piping hot food on our table. The food was delicious and very authentic. It wasn't just chips and cheese, it was actual Mexican food! I highly recommend eating here any night of the week and if you have kids, bring them! They do have a "kids" menu and all the food is very family friendly. Overall, I think El Rodeo is an outstanding restaurant and very easy on your wallet. Be careful though, this will soon become your favorite restaurant! read more
