Best Mexican food around!!!! Spotless restaurant, lightning fast service, Every. Single. Thing was excellent! Beautiful restaurant, great atmosphere, pleasant servers with great service, ALL the food is terrific! Large portions and Very cheap. I can't wait to go back!!! read more

One of the worst Mexican restaurants I have been to. Ordered the number one, it consisted of a greasy "enchilada" made of ground beef with no flavor wrapped in a tortilla and covered in a salty flavorless red sauce and two "tacos" with the same beef in a shell with a little cheese on top. No flavor and no way it could be fresh as it took about 10 minutes for our whole tables food to arrive. read more

Today was our second visit in a year. The building is easy to get to from Loudon Rd and has ample parking. It is well maintained inside and out, and appropriately decorated. The staff gave us a friendly greeting and seated us right away. Jose, our waiter, quickly arrived to take our drink order and since we already knew what we wanted, our meal order. He also brought chips and fresh made salsa. At my request he brought a hotter salsa that I recommend if you like more heat. It is a tomatillo based salsa with arbol chiles. The molcajete azteca is dish the is made to be shared by two. It is not common in this country, but is very popular where it is available. The dish is served in its namesake, a molcajete, a large volcanic stone mortar. It consists of a few pieces of thin sliced rib eye and chicken breast. Also several shrimp and some chorizo. These are all grilled along with green onions, a jalapeño and some nopalitos (cactus). These are all put into a screaming hot molcajete and topped with a tomatillo salsa and some Oaxaca cheese. It is served with rice, beans and tortillas. It comes with 3 tortillas, corn or flour, for $1 more you can get 3 more. We orderd sides of sour cream and guacamole. Unless you are a really big eater, this is a lot of food. It is a great alternative to fajitas. I highly recommend it. No room for dessert this time, but last time we had churros that were very tasty. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of food and service. José was a great waiter. Everytime our sodas got low, he was there with a refill. We will be back! read more

I dined at El Rodeo tonight and was not disappointed. The food was delectable and the service was great. Our server was friendly and the food runner brought the food out promptly. If you visit El Rodeo, the queso is a MUST. read more

Tried lunch chicken burrito/enchilada combo. All I tasted was the sauce. Not good when you can't tell the difference between the two items. Never had such a small burrito. Maybe just lunch size?? Chips/salsa we're good. Friends liked the fajitas. One had a margarita and said it was good. read more

My God, could the service be any worse? It's crappy Mexican food. How hard is it to make it fast? Every dish has the exact same ingredients! The staff is rude and unhelpful. I was ignored by 3 servers for 15 minutes while picking up a take out order. This has happened twice. Unreal. read more

Great experience here! Can't say enough about this place. Me and my mother loved everything about our experience (and she can be a restaurant snob) Great service, fabulous high end drinks, huge and very affordable portion sizes, delicious food and great overall atmosphere. Our server was German and he was great! We will be back read more

What a find! Stopped in for lunch yesterday, and what a pleasant surprise to find such good, authentic Mexican food. Two of my party had the steak taco salad which they liked fine, but I think they wished they'd ordered a combo plate like mine. I had a combo plate with a cheese enchilada, burrito, and rice and beans. The enchilada was good, the beans were delicious, but the burrito (asked for no meat) was one of the best things I've ever eaten, anywhere. Still thinking about it a day later. Not like any burrito I've had anywhere else. So, so good. And the queso fundido was also just delicious. Already thinking up reasons I need to drive a half hour just to go back! :) read more

When they first opened, the food was excellent but I've noticed the last 2 times I was there, the food hasn't been great.

I just walked out of El Rodeo in Concord and will NEVER be returning to this restaurant. Nor will I ever recommend it to anyone. My first impression was being given a dirty look by the girl delivering our chips and salsa when I asked for someone to clean our sticky table. Next, I ordered a diet Coke with lime, which was delivered to me with three other drink orders. That wasn't an issue, but I'm diabetic and asked for diet for health purposes and he first gave me someone else's drink that I can only assume wasn't diet and there was no lime. Even the lack of lime wasn't an issue, so I asked our waiter if he could bring me lime for my drink. He returned with a bowl of lemons. When I asked him for the third time for limes, he started getting nasty with me. About five minutes later he returned without limes. He asked if we were ready to order and again I asked for lime for my drink. He just stood there. So for the fifth and final time, I asked for lime for my drink and clarified I wanted it now. Another five minutes later, he returned to take someone else's order. Fed up, my husband and I left our table and asked to speak to a manager. Once explaining to the manager what had happened and informed him we weren't sitting back down because we were leaving, he raised his hand to me and walked away while I was in the middle of a sentence that was being spoken to him. I'm thoroughly appalled by the lack of good customer service skills. Other than the hostesses, everyone else we encountered we're complete assholes. All I wanted was a damn lime for my drink and they made it seem like I was the problem. I'll never be returning and I'll never have good things to say about this sorry excuse for a dining establishment. read more

We recently moved here from California and love Mexican food. Tried El Rodeo today and thought it was OK. Will go back but have some comments/suggestions. First is the service - Very good***** Chips and salsa also very good. Our food came fast but was just OK. My taco shells were like those you buy in the market. Would suggest they fry them fresh. Also, all of us thought the food was only luke warm. Tasty, but not hot. Prices were moderate and the restaurant clean and comfortable. So far, this is the best we've had but there is some room for improvement which would give them our fifth star. read more

We discovered El Rodeo while out shopping in Concord and decided to stop by for lunch. The food was SO good, especially their beans and rice, and we were pleased with the prices. The staff is kind and very helpful. We have been here three times, every time we visit Concord, and are always happy we come back. Being from southern California, it's hard finding good Mexican food around New England. El Rodeo is definitely filling that gap and satisfying our cravings for some good Mexican food. read more

El Rodeo is one of our favorite restaurants in the Concord area. The service is great and the food is fantastic. Prices are also reasonable - a huge plus when you have a large family. Highly recommend! read more

We dropped in for a drink and ended up having soup and a meal. It was awesome! Alex was super nice and helpful. Love this place! Our new favorite. read more

Polite (though I wouldn't say "friendly") service with good food served quickly - good sized portions, fresh chips and salsa, moderate prices (good lunchtime deals,) easy to get to and plenty of parking. read more

This was absolutely the worst Mexican food I've ever had . I actually had to spit it out. I got a number 14 combo . If you like hormel chili in a can wrapped in a tortilla then you would love it. It was just mushy with very bland flavor. Just disgusting. Definitely needs a chef Ramsey intervention. Taco Bell is far more tasty. However the margaritas and chips with salsa were great! And the waitress was awesome but the food, well it was just nasty. Hermanos is way better and Tio Juans : Margaritas is better and like I said Taco Bell is better. I will never go back . read more

Delish!!! The staff and the food are amazing. I have been here MANY times and cannot say one bad thing. Even when the parking lot is packed-there is barely a wait. The staff is ALWAYS buzzing around and willing to accommodate whatever you need. The food is exceptional Mexican food. If you like Tio Juans and Taco Bell-stay there, you won't appreciate the authenticity of the menu selections. Cheers to the staff at El Rodeo-keep it up! read more

Willie was our server... he's freaking awesome, btw. And the food? Stupidly reasonable pricing and the two times we've been now have locked it down... because both times the food was amazing!! Every bite was delicious, so good you almost need a 'safe' word. Lol. Go to El Rodeo. Eat. You will like. If you don't? You're probably not that bright. Just saying. read more

I've never seen service so fast! You never have to wait for your seat, chips, waiter, or check; the staff is always on top of it. Plus the food is amazing and the prices are more than reasonable. Definitely a personal favorite! read more

Went here 9:00 Halloween. GF thought the Fajitas were great, I thought they were standard. I ordered the Carne Asada. Yuk. It looked, tasted, and felt microwaved. It was flavorless and I did not event finish a wrap. Service was nice and prompt, margaritas good. However I can not get past the meal... read more

Love this place! Real Mexican food! The food is tremendous, all of it, everything is good. The prices are great. It's fast too. I have a toddler that goes with me now so I've learned to embrace places that move a little faster because the little one cant sit in a high chair for a long period of time. I go in to El Rodeo and get sat, order drinks and food and can actually be out of there in half the time it seems to take everywhere else. I'll go to places like Margaritas or Hermanos but as a hang out spot to meet friends in the bar. If I want real Mexican food El Rodeo is the only action in Concord. read more

My absolute favorite place to enjoy an evening with friends - service is great, food is great, atmosphere is great!

I am pleased that this place is nearby me in Concord NH. The food is tasty. The service is friendly and lightning fast. I usually order from the combo list because there are about 30 choices. Their salsa and chips are a great way to start. Good prices. Nice Southwestern architecture. Booths and a bar. read more

Absolutely fabulous time! Clean. Prompt and polite service. Great food! We'd go back again anytime.

Fantastic food, came very quickly, piping hot and crispy! Much better than Margaritas that's down the road from it.

El Rodeo is definitely the best Mexican restaurant in Concord. I have been there 3 times now and each time the service was fast and polite, food came put quickly yet tasted fresh and made to order. They have many kinds of tequila including barrels made especially for the restaurant. Large bar with TVs and outside tables. I went on a busy Saturday and was quoted a 15 Minute wait time and was seated within ten. Recommend over Margaritas and Hermanos. read more

Outstanding food, phenomenal prices. It is a home run

Amazing food and atmosphere. The people are great and are happy to help you order what they believe will work for you. Best sides in Concord.... rice and refried beans. read more

This is going to be fairly short and sweet. Best Mexican food in state. I grew up in the southwest, after years of trying other places around this is the most authentic. If you don't like spice or love it they have something for you. Great range of specialty cocktails. Staff is friendly and prompt. Decor looks like a normal Mexican restaurant. Enjoy. read more

I stopped in for a quick lunch after doing business at the state offices up the road. I arrived a few minutes afternoon and it was well after 1230 before my order was taken. The waiter apologized even though the place wasn't very busy. I ordered an enchilada plate and though it came reasonably fast the food was already cold. The cheese in the enchilada was not even really melted all the way. The sour cream was so cold it tasted like it just came out of the refrigerator and only caused the meal to cool off even quicker. I ate fast so there was at least some warmth left in my meal, which I had planned to do anyway after waiting so long to get my order taken. Next time I will go to margaritas across town. read more

Stopped by when in the area Saturday. Usually go to la Caretta and really enjoy that place. Pleasantly surprised with a great margarita friendly prompt service and good food. Nice to have a good option when in Concord. read more

My favorite Mexican restaurant! Great food, drinks and atmosphere! The hostess and waiters are extremely pleasant and friendly....

Upon reading some of these ludicrous negative reviews with my parents on the drive to this restaurant, we were not sure what to expect but we all thought this place was delicious. The interior design of this place was spotless and authentic, we were seated within 5 minutes and the service was prompt. Our waiter was kind, polite and professional. He was able to explain to my mom and I the difference between a "skinny margarita " and regular margarita. We all actually found this place underpriced (about 10$ per meal ) and the food was not overloaded with salt and grease, we are really into health and fitness so this very much appreciated. The portions were large enough where we all were able to bring home leftovers. Highly recommended ! read more

I've been to this establishment 3 times now and have been completely underwhelmed every time. The service is very inconsistent and you always end up having several people helping you throughout your visit. The owner/manager has waited on us and forgot about our order twice. We gave it one last chance and tried to use a concord monitor certificate and because it wasn't printed they couldn't accept it. The certificate doesn't say anywhere it needs to be printed. read more

First-time diner. My wife and I loved the place, from the chips and salsa to the nachos and chimichangas, just right. Excellent staff, nice atmosphere (not a whole lot of kitsch Mexicana), great parking, and convenient location. When I saw the pictures of Javier and Blanca Solis and Infante (couldn't find Jorge Negreto)...plus some Cantinflas for good measure, I was sold! Then, a great price for the meal, perfect evening! read more

Looking for the best restaurant in Concord? Look no further. Warm chips, cold drinks, and smiling staff, this place will have you coming back again and again. When the sun is shining, the patio is thriving. When the Mariachi band is playing (every third Thursday), the guests are dancing. The staff always goes the extra mile, takes the extra time, and gives the extra thought. Don't believe me? Let's taco 'bout it! read more

Authentic Mexican restaurants in New Hampshire are as illusive as the Yeti; especially if you live anywhere North of Manchester. After living in Concord for nearly 4 years, and now living even further North in Henniker, the mexican offerings; although decent, were more like water downed beers. For years, we have made the trek to Manchester or Nashua to eat at La Carreta. When we heard a new Mexican restaurant was opening where the old Outback was, we counted the days until we saw the "Now Open" sign displayed. We were not disappointed. From what we understand, the owners may have had some previous affiliation with La Carreta, and El Rodeo's menu is very similar....if not almost exact. The flavors were bold, exciting and the portions; although slightly smaller than La Carreta, were actually more manageable. The waitstaff was superb and the service was lightening fast. With Concord being overwrought with chain restaurants, El Rodeo can stand apart from the pack, offering quality food with an international flare! Put on your best sombrero, grab your Gas-X, and head off to El Rodeo! You won't be disappointed. read more

My wife and I decided to try out El Rodeo on 8/24/2013. We started with asking the bartenders if they knew how to make a Jamaican Margarita... One asked if it had rum in it? We explained that it did not, it is simply made without sour mix.. The other bartender piped up and said she knew how to make our drink selection. We made our first mistake of upgrading to a premier tequila at a cost of over $11! These were by far the WORST margaritas we ever had. Second mistake was not sending them back. How can a Mexican restaurant bartender not know how to make this common drink & even worse claim to know how? The food was bland and salty. Lunch was over $50 for 2 people and it was awful. Will never go back, better off making the trek to Manchester for authentic Mexican. Bring back the Outback! read more

Very average, not sure where all the 5 star reviews are coming from, especially with the reviews of it being authentic!. I think 3 stars is generous. I got the dinner combination #20. Burrito, chili rellano, and taco. The burrito was your typical low cost americanized fare of a tortilla with only salty ground beef and some sauce. It was quite bad. The taco was very mediocre. The chili rellano on the other hand was quite good and I would rate it a 4.5 easily. That combination was 11.00 and the iced tea was an astonishing 2.50! (as is all the soft drinks). The bill with tax was 14.71; with the tip bringing the total to 17.00. Service was good as was the rellano I already mentioned, but not good enough to make this so called authentic mexican meal worth anywhere near what it cost. We travel so I'm not sure if there are other better choices, but I would look for an alternative if I came back through the area. read more
