Last week, I ordered a simple wrap, and after an hour, I was still waiting. I told the manager, and he said it was coming after he packed several to-go orders. I went inside to check, and they dismissed me, never checking my order back in the kitchen. I had no choice but to leave the place, and I plan never to go back. I was craving one last beef empanada before our flight home, and was disappointed to see that these were alternative versions of empanadas... but, was happy to see they were cubano- a hybrid of two of my favorite things! The Fish Market sits on the beach at the bottom of the Elysian Hotel. While you can walk there, it's a long, winding road through the hotel grounds. On a positive note, our waitress, Kieke, was delightful and sweet and a complete opposite from the hostess. As for the food, let me be honest when I say it was one of the top two seafood meals I've had in my life. I got the crab-stuffed grouper with broccolini and couscous.
