I loved the Beachfront dining experience and atmosphere of the restaurant. We sat outside and our waiter Jerry was incredible. Food and drinks were impressive. We ordered the Smashed Cucumber, Lamb Lollipops, Wedge Salad, Grilled Prawns and the Grouper. After eating all that and several drinks, we had a short uphill walk back to our hotel next door.
This is really a jewel in St. Thomas. My wife and I had dinner the first night of our weeklong vacation and we were very pleased with the selections, service, and atmosphere. My wife ordered the stuffed pork chop and I ordered the lemon baked 1/2 chicken. We were not disappointed. We will be back before we leave.
This restaurant is a must! Food is always good. My only complaint is for happy hour it says bar and courtyard area. But if you sit on the sofa's which one would consider to be the courtyard you can't partake of the happy hour menu. Especially when the bartender service this area! Always a nice vibe! Love the sofa area cozy for a date! Gives outside/inside feel without being bothered by the cats and birds. A little pricey but the flavor is worth it. $70lb for snapper. I've eaten here before but never remember those prices. But it was my fiancé first time and I had raved about so we were committed! And the coconut cake is a MUST!!! Chef Kiss!!!
This restaurant is actually located on the B property of the resort we are start at. So we have come here a few times already. We have only sat in the bar area for dinner. They have a good Happy Hour from 5 pm to 7 pm. So for drinks we have gone there but stayed to enjoy dinner. Their menu is pretty good with plenty of options to choose from. From their appetizers to salads to main courses you simply can't go wrong!! The Ahi Tuna Nachos are amazing! The calamari is perfection. The Eggplant Frites as very tasty. Just know when they first come out they are HOT. Give them a few minutes to cool off. Main courses I have tried were the Everything Salmon. It was Devine and I would definitely order it again. The second dinner night we went I did the Pad Thai. Wow!! Was that delightful and so full of flavor. We will likely return at least once more before our trip is over and I have no doubt it will not disappoint!! Service is always amazing as well. Even when they get busy and yes they get very busy they are still super nice and attentive. The open air restaurant is also very nice and when you catch a nice breeze it makes it even better!! Apparently everything looked so good I didn't take pictures of it all
I ate several meals at this restaurant because of its vicinity to the condo i stayed at. It is a bit pricey but the decent reviews are warranted. The service is always friendly even if it gets busy with over-served patrons in the bar (to be fair, most were probably self-over-served prior to arrival). The seafood is fantastic-fresh caught wahoo was my favorite but the grouper was also very tasty. The dining room and bar are open air but kept comfortable with shade and plenty of fans. They are open for dinner daily but also have a Sunday brunch.
Caribbean Fish Market was our second dinner on St. Thomas this trip. It is a "resort restaurant" meaning it's in a resort, and open to the general public. All things considered, it was pretty good! Karla was our waitress, she did a great job! Attentive, responsive, but not intrusive. Thanks Karla! We had a cocktail and started with the calamari appetizer... great calamari until you reached the bottom of the dish were the sauce laden calamari was soggy. We tried a couple of salads next... the watermelon salad and the shrimp wedge. Both salads were good, but suffered from an over abundance of sauces. On the watermelon salad, too much of the raspberry puree; on the wedge salad, too much dressing. Recommend you ask for the dressings on the side. We both ordered fish entrees, the sea bass and the grouper. Both fish were delicious, but again, the polenta/rice on the bottom of the dished swallowed the entrees. Sometimes less is more! We had a glass of Pinot Grigio and the key like pie for dessert. Wine was good, the key lime pie was better... the highlight of the evening. Good experience at CFM, but with so many other offerings on the island, we likely won't be back. As a "resort restaurant" it's more geared to residents than visitors.
Caribbean Fish Market was an absolute 10/10 across the board--food, ambience, and service. My mom and I loved every single thing we ordered. Everything came out beautifully cooked and seasoned with intention. I had the lobster entrée, and every bite truly melted in my mouth. My mom's steak was just as impressive--rich, tender, and full of flavor. A memorable meal from start to finish. If you are visiting the Islands, this place is a MUST TRY!

Ambiance was amazing as I sat 30 steps from the water overlooking the beach and bay. We ordered the whole red snapper and stuffed lobster. Both dishes were very good. Red snapper was in a ginger broth which was amazing. The fish alone was cooked very well but very light on seasoning, with the broth it was great! The lobster was over done but our server made it better by bringing a new lobster out. Overall a great experience and I'd love to have a chance to visit there again.

We came to Caribbean Fish Market on a Sunday for brunch and it was such a great vibe overall. They offer bottomless Bloody Marys and mimosas, which is always a fun bonus for a relaxing brunch by the water. We ordered the ahi tuna nachos and the veggie egg white scramble. Both were really good; the nachos were super fresh and flavorful with a nice mix of textures, and the scramble was light but still filling with plenty of veggies. Definitely felt like a good, balanced brunch option. The service was great, friendly, attentive, and everything came out at a good pace. The only thing that wasn't my favorite was the Bloody Mary. It had a pretty strong horseradish kick, which just isn't my thing, but if you like that extra spice you'd probably enjoy it. Overall, great food, beautiful setting, and a solid brunch spot. I'd absolutely come back (and probably stick to mimosas next time!). read more
Our dinner at Caribbean Fish Market was so lovely. We opted to share multiple appetizers for a little tapas moment, and everything was very good. The ahi was definitely our favorite. We finished off dinner with some key lime pie. Service was excellent and I appreciated that we were able to get a reservation day of. read more

My husband & I stayed at Elysian and we were hesitant to try Caribbean Fish Market after reading the mixed reviews but I am happy we decided to try it because we had a great experience. Both our meals were great & service was quick and super attentive. My husband had the stuffed lobster & I had the Seafood Hot Pot. The Calamari was also delicious. I was pleasantly surprised with our experience. We also hung out at the bar a couple nights since we stayed at Elysian. Nice clean bar and good company. read more

We went for Sunday brunch and were not disappointed. Garen was an excellent server and bartender. The brunch punch was refreshing and the bottomless Bloody Mary delicious. We had the soft shell crab BLT and the shrimp and grits. Both were very good. The views were spectacular. read more

The food was excellent--wife and I ate here twice the week we were down. The first night we just got apps: calamari with tamarind sauce was awesome, tuna nachos were excellent and had a nice spicy kick, and Brussels were good. The second time we each got a fish entree. They were pricey but very good. My wife got the grouper and I got the sea bass with chermoula which is like a dry spiced chimmichuri--it was excellent. read more
This was a family dinner with my sister and niece. The restaurant is pretty much on the beach so it has an excellent ambience. We started with some appetizers. My sister got the tacos, my niece the cauliflower, and I got the lamb chops. We enchanted food and each appetizer was . Next came our entrees. My niece had the wedge salad. She didn't really enjoy it because it was heavy on the dressing and she's not a fan of blue cheese. My sister has the squid ink pasta with shrimp. She gave it two thumbs up. As for me, I had the crab stuffed grouper. The crab was delicious and the grouper was cooked just right. I was not a big fan of the rice that it was served with, but the sweet drop peppers were a nice and surprising touch. We finished with a cheese cake which were icing on top of a delicious cake. This was such a great dining experience that I recommended it to my dad for his birthday dinner. read more
I was quite excited by the prospect of fresh-caught wahoo served over Asian-style noodles. The fish was cooked beautifully (still translucent in the center), but the crust outside felt a bit overworked. The noodles were actually the star of the dish with their immense flavor! The chilean sea bass (not pictured) was definitely the best meal of the table (I found myself with a bit of order envy). The octopus carpaccio appetizer appealed to me in terms of idea, but the execution unfortunately didn't feel like anything all that special. I found myself missing the octopus flavor. Overall, this restaurant is good & in a great location just steps from the beach, but I think there are more interesting options for better prices if you're visiting on vacation! Everything about this restaurant went very well I've eaten here 4 times in 7 days. The food is Excellent...highly recommend. My twin sister came to St.Thomas VI to celebrate our 67th birthday. I like to acknowledge several employees. working in the Bar area. Jennifer, Moe #1 & Moe #2, Mr. Big Big! and the very sweet young man Noah. Brenda and Gwenda (the twins) have found a new extended family in St. Thomas VI at the Elysian Beach Resort. read more

Went twice, once for happy hour and once for Sunday breakfast (it's advertised as brunch. Just breakfast and early opening). It's located on the Elysian Worldmark property, has decent views of the property beach and nice restaurant. As with many places they were short staffed on Sunday with only 1 server and a hostess trying their best until more help arrived. Food was hot, yummy and fast! I can see this being a good option for folks staying close but is expensive and limiting due to hours (only open for dinner except Sunday opening at 10). read more
Such an amazing restaurant, on the beach, cool breeze and upscale vibe. While this place is definitely not a cheap meal, I thought that ours was spectacular. It was a great first meal on island while staying at Elysian. We had a great server, tried several things and ended up leaving full and satisfied with the leftovers to boot. My all-time favorite thing was the Ahi Tuna Nachos, packed with super fresh Ahi Tuna, a great spicy topping, crunchy fried wontons and caviar topping. It was huge. We also had steak and a few other vegetarian appetizers. Our drinks were very good, too. I sat at the bar a few days later for a lunch and they were very accommodating as well. Dining beachside to the melodic sound of waves kissing the shore as the sun gives way to darkness, the ambiance is intimate and relaxing. I ordered the shrimp pasta dish with its Medusa-hair noodles surrounded by headless shrimp. The textures, flavors, and spice along with generous portion sizes were a delight. We came here with reservations for dinner as a party of six. Atmosphere: More high end type of atmosphere and environment. People are dressed well and the menu is mostly seafood as given the name Caribbean fish market. Service: service was excellent. The only thing I would like to mention is as soon as we were seated, we asked our waiter if we could have separate checks and were told no but we can have multiple payments for the same check which is basically the same thing. Came to find out that is because they charge a mandatory 20% gratuity for parties 5 or more... go figure. Drinks: I ordered a spicy Paloma which I ended up returning back because it was just not drinkable for me. The taste was so bitter it was not spicy at all I think it may have had too much grapefruit juice. Then I got a Coco rum punch which was much better. I would rate it a 2/5. I wouldn't say the drinks are made very well here. It should be a higher quality for drinks for such a fancy restaurant. Appetizers: started off with some crispy calamari which was not anything out of the ordinary. I was expecting a better quality calamari. Although the tamarind sauce that was used was amazing. Also we got lamb lollipops which were great and had a nice balsamic dressing. Main course: I got a Caribbean stuffed lobster. I have had my fair share of seafood and I have to say this was the absolute best lobster I have ever had! I don't know what these lobsters are eating but the large size of these lobsters is something else. They were almost the size of my forearm, thick and packed with meat. My friend got the surf and turf with steak. The stake was medium rare and so buttery when cut with a knife. Desserts: the desserts need a little work. They're just very basic. For example, the ice cream waffle sandwich was one was a literal waffle with a scoop of vanilla icecream. I chose coconut cake as my birthday dessert and it was ok, more on the drier side even with cream cheese. read more

This was the only restaurant open on the resort when we arrived. No welcome given by the hostess or the server. Then the prices and portions were insane, who spends $32 on a kids meal!! Everyone got something different, from Korean wings, ahi tuna nachos, bang bang shrimp tacos, sea bass, red snapper, filet mignon and bacon pork chop. Everyone also left hungry. The food itself was good but not great especially for those prices. Our waiter never came to see how we were doing or if we needed anything else. When I asked for a drink he just said, "we'll see" And then it never came. read more
Some of the best seafood I've ever had. While vacationing in St. Thomas we stopped here for dinner and it was amazing. First thing to note is the view - it's breathtaking. The restaurant itself has a sophisticated yet casual ambiance which is perfect for its beachfront location. We had the Ahi Tuna Nachos we're were amazing and were packed with tuna! Then for entrees we had the Sea Bass, Wahoo, and the Tuna Special. Everything was delicious. If we were staying in the Island longer we would absolutely making a trip back to the Caribbean Fish Market! read more
ROUND 2 of trying this place and we were not disappointed. This was my annual visit home and brought some friends with me and all they wanted before they left was stuffed lobster. Well- we called, made reservations and talked to the manager to ensure they knew we were coming for the lobster because last time we were there they ran out. Our server was fantastic. She was she attentive to the group and made us all feel so comfortable with our choices. The food was delicious and we were all stuff to the brim. Expect to pay a hefty price but I always say"'you pay for what you get ". Few things I must make note of that is of no fault of the restaurant but they are located on the beach and as soon as it gets dark be prepared to be eat by the mosquitoes. We dined good and so did they, lol. However the ambience of sitting out and being able to see the beach was fantastic. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great meal and not worried about price. read more

If you are looking for the best overall dinner/ date night spot, look no further. Hands down Caribbean Fish Market has the best food, service and drinks. We had their signature dish, the stuff lobster... and wow! It lived up to the hype! The plate was huge, big enough for 2. I also had the watermelon salad, mussels and oysters. For desert we tried the ginger Creme brûlée and at first I was skeptical because of the ginger, I thought it would be overpowering but it was well done! The top was crispy and the crème was soft and creamy. The ginger complemented the flavor and was not pungent at all. We wish we could've had time to come back to this spot before we left since it was so memorable. We will definitely be back to this gem! read more
