Service was top notch, fast, attentive to our table from beginning thru end. The waitress asked our group of six what we were celebrating. After saying it was my little bro b-day, she brought a candle with his dessert without us even asking!!! By the way, her b-day will be a couple of days later...so happy birthday to her as well. I loved my modified cuban sandwich version, the plantain soup was exquisite and the filet in onions was a huge pleasant surprise. Finally, the budín was the cherry on TOP.
Great local food, with attentive service: - Serenata: beautifully cooked fish with local root vegetables. Would have wished for more seasoning re: fish to contrast vegetables like an acid - Bread pudding: sweet and caramel-y. Loved this Cons: - a little pricey - took a while for food to arrive
Dulcesalado has been recommended to me for a while, but I finally got to try it for lunch. I had high expectations, and they were exceeded. The place is clean and has a nice, quiet ambiance. The service was great. For appetizers, the empanadillas were a good choice. The risotto and lobster tail chicharrones were excellent lunch entrees. And yes, the desert did not disappoint. I cannot wait to return, for I hear their brunch is great.
During the week I don't believe they serve brunch, as we went on a Wednesday before noon and were told we'd have to wait for the lunch menu at 12. It wasn't a problem with us as we wanted coffee also and the staff were very kind. If you don't get here early expect to wait or have a reservation. Everything was very good, except the tostones were really dry.
Super cute hotel and restaurant. We went during the weekday around lunchtime and it was very busy, but we got lucky to get seats at the bar. EXCELLENT bartender. If he didn't like his job, he could've fooled us. Super upbeat and the drinks were great. He went above and beyond. They serve breakfast all day and the food was amazing. Great espresso as well. The bartender made the start of our vacation really awesome. We will be back when we come again in March this year.
This restaurant was attached to the hotel I stayed at which was convenient for us. I ordered a blt with no avocado and no bacon which I enjoyed. It came with a side of salad and fries that were too salty for my liking but overall I was satisfied with my meal. The Caribbean PR was a refreshing drink. I also had a mimosa that had more orange juice than champagne.
Ate a few things here out of convenience - I stayed in the hotel upstairs for several days (Tropica). Tropica offers a welcome sangria from Dulcesalado and puts some chocolate chip cookies in the room - perfect start to our stay. The first night I ordered takeout shrimp with garlic sauce and yucca mofongo. Sauce was delicious, large shrimp, and loved the fried ball of yucca mofongo. The next day we wanted to try some ice cream nearby and found out that has some pretty tasty stuff - we had mango and passionfruit flavors. Our final day we had breakfast here. The salmon toast was delicious - I dont normally order toasts because I want a large portion but I didn't feel like it was lacking. My mom made her own omelette with manchego, mushrooms and a meat - a little on the salty side for her. The passionfruit juice was a nice change from boring oj. The coffee art was perfection. Service is pretty good here, a little slow on giving the check but at least they don't rush you. For breakfast we were seated near a very loud birthday party, and at 9am I was a bit annoyed. Seriously who has cake and sings loudly at 9am? I guess that's the New Yorker in me...I just wanted a quiet breakfast.

OMG! Just go. I had to go to Puerto Rico to get two pieces of avocado toast. The food was amazing. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Cute restaurant within a local hotel. Restrooms were pristine. read more
Hidden gem meets birthday bliss. We stumbled upon this magical little garden of yum during our birthday trip to Puerto Rico, staying right in the heart of Condado. After a long, sandy stroll along the beach, sun-kissed and parched, we wandered the streets in search of a place to sip and snack--and boom! Dulcesalado appeared like a mirage... but real. We grabbed a seat on the leafy patio where the walls are literally alive. Think secret garden meets tropical chic. You half expect a fairy to bring your cocktail. Instead, we got an incredibly sweet waitress who treated us like cousins she actually likes--warm, attentive, and full of great recommendations. Let's talk drinks and bites: * Iced Hibiscus Tea - Floral, chilled, and refreshing. Like a spa day in a glass. * Tamarind Martini - Sweet, tangy, dangerous. I wanted to drink it and bathe in it. * Watermelon Sushi - WHAT IS THIS WITCHCRAFT?! Sweet, savory, crunchy, and completely unexpected. I'd fly back just for this. * Apio Pancakes with Shrimp - These lil' cakes were fluffy, and packed with flavor. I would 100% slap my mama for another bite (sorry, Mom). * Scallops in Cream Sauce - These scallops came to seduce. Tender, buttery, luxurious. Gourmet without being fussy. The vibe? Effortless. The food? Elevated. The drinks? Dangerous. If you're in Condado, run--don't walk--to this verdant oasis. Solid cafe food, I wish I took more photos for you guys. The service was good and helpful, food was great and fresh. Ambiance was really nice decor. If we visit the area again will go back. read more

Good food. Good service. Good ambiance. Good for family. On New Year day we didn't have a reservation and we were lucky to find a nice table for 6 people. I had huevos rancheros and it was delicious. On holidays I suggest to make a reservation . read more

Everything on the menu looked superb! But we wanted to try something native so we opted for the heuvos rancheros followed by churros for dessert. Both were incredible and a great serving size! We also got a strawberry lemonade and an iced hibiscus tea. The food, decor and ambience were just perfect! I would highly recommend this place for great authentic Peurto Rican dishes along with the regular breakfast favorites such as avocado toast and Egg Benedict's. read more

Came here for my cousin's bachelorette trip dinner and it was wonderful! We were seated and served pretty quickly considering it was a party of 6. The servers were all so nice and kept complimenting us. They were also super knowledgeable about the menu and made sure that we each got something we would enjoy, and we did! I got the ravioli and steak and it was PERFECT! They also had a super cool thing they did where they gave us samples of their "drink of the week". It was so good, we all decided to order it lol. read more

One of the best places I've ever eaten at. Reservations are recommended. Food and drinks were well crafted and bursting with flavor. If there is any dish you get, let it be the apio pancakes! Staff were kind and attentive. Would return to try out their breakfast based on the quality of the food. read more

Super tasty! The pear and Gorgonzola ravioli is to die for, however it is quite expensive ($28) for about 6 pieces of ravioli. The fish tacos were also great. The restaurant has a nice, relaxing vibe. Service is a bit slow. read more

Came here for dinner and the vibe and services was great! Very friendly staff suggested me to have this capellini noodle with shrimp, said this id a classic dish from Northern Spain - best suggestion ever! Espresso machine a runs during dinner time, love it! A bit pricy but will definitely come back. read more

Yesterday, we had one of the best meals of our life at Dulcesalado. We were greeted like family and we had the best service. The food was unbelievable. We met chef Atisha Pascual who is true Puerto Rican and has created an amazing menu mixing the island culture with high cuisine. The fish of the day was a local fish. Fabulous. Make sure you have the water melon sushi. Amazing. Also, you leave room for the deserts. Chocolate dipped churros, profiterol, flan.... wow. We will definitely try to go back before we leave the island. read more

I wanted to be full-blown upset about paying $18 for a salad that filled 1/4 of a normal-sized dinner plate (even if it was beautifully plated), but then I tasted it and decided it was okay to just enjoy it. The thing was delicious. $18 delicious? Idk. But the fact that I am even considering saying "yes" probably says something, and the fact that I was willing to proceed to spend another $11 on dessert afterward probably says even more. Will happily be back for brunch. read more

Simply Formidable! Wow! I had a great experience at Dulcesalado. This is the first time that I like every single course. There was no bad or subpar dish. Every single dish from the drinks to the desserts were fantastic. We ordered Tamarind Mojito and a Blueberry and Lavander Mojito. Great combination of flavors. Our appetizers were Watermelon Sushi and Apio Pancakes. I just have no words to describe these two appetizers. The watermelon Sushi is a very innovative dish. Please order it. The entrees were Fish of the day, Pear and Gorgonzola Ravioli, Classic burger and Chistorras. Everything was fresh, flavorful. You must try the raviolis. The sides were delicious as well, we had manposteao and viandas. For desserts we had the goat cheese and guava flan and the bread and butter pudding. Again, just great food. Kiddos for our server(s). It was not a busy night so another server was helping as well and both were great. They had the patience and the passion to tell us more about the food and how Puerto Ricans cook it and eat it. We also had the opportunity and pleasure to meet the owner/great Chef of Dulcesalado. I just had a fantastic family dinner at this place. Hands down I recommend this place. Make sure to make a reservation before you go there. read more

We were glad to find this gem. We did not have a reservation but they were able to accommodate and sat us at the bar. Our bartender Joshua was super awesome and friendly. The staffs gave us great suggestions and also suggestions of other local eatery. The food was amazing and service was very quick. One of our favorite spot in PR. read more
