Hidden gem meets birthday bliss…read more We stumbled upon this magical little garden of yum during our birthday trip to Puerto Rico, staying right in the heart of Condado. After a long, sandy stroll along the beach, sun-kissed and parched, we wandered the streets in search of a place to sip and snack--and boom! Dulcesalado appeared like a mirage... but real. We grabbed a seat on the leafy patio where the walls are literally alive. Think secret garden meets tropical chic. You half expect a fairy to bring your cocktail. Instead, we got an incredibly sweet waitress who treated us like cousins she actually likes--warm, attentive, and full of great recommendations. Let's talk drinks and bites: * Iced Hibiscus Tea - Floral, chilled, and refreshing. Like a spa day in a glass. * Tamarind Martini - Sweet, tangy, dangerous. I wanted to drink it and bathe in it. * Watermelon Sushi - WHAT IS THIS WITCHCRAFT?! Sweet, savory, crunchy, and completely unexpected. I'd fly back just for this. * Apio Pancakes with Shrimp - These lil' cakes were fluffy, and packed with flavor. I would 100% slap my mama for another bite (sorry, Mom). * Scallops in Cream Sauce - These scallops came to seduce. Tender, buttery, luxurious. Gourmet without being fussy. The vibe? Effortless. The food? Elevated. The drinks? Dangerous. If you're in Condado, run--don't walk--to this verdant oasis. Dulcesalado is that perfect mix of "vacation indulgence" and "why don't we have this back home?!"

The food was served on paper plates with disposable utensils, which was disappointing since the photos on their page suggested glass plates and silverware. The hummus was overly oily, and the bread was toasted more than we would have liked. We also ordered the smoked salmon omelet, but the salmon was mixed inside the omelet instead of being served on top as expected. The service was average. Our server was polite, but she didn't check on our table after bringing the food, so I had to get her attention when we needed something. I would give the restaurant another chance because the atmosphere was enjoyable, but improving the presentation, food execution, and attentiveness of the service would make for a much better experience.

I was so excited because I'd heard so many great things, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. Be aware that this is a very small restaurant with only about 15-20 seats, so it fills up quickly. We arrived with no wait, but by the time we were eating, there was already a long line outside. Also, if you're in a hurry, this may not be the best choice. Everything is made fresh from scratch, so the food does take a while to come out. Service is definitely on island time, but once the food arrives, you'll understand why--it's well worth the wait. I ordered the California Surfer wrap, and wow...it was absolutely amazing! Everyone in our group raved about their meals, and the fresh-squeezed orange juice was out of this world. I'm honestly sad we only made it here once during our week in Puerto Rico. I would absolutely come back again and highly recommend Pinky's to anyone looking for a fresh, delicious breakfast. Just come with a little patience--you'll be rewarded with an outstanding meal

Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals and was impressed with both the quality and the generous portions. I also had a fresh-squeezed orange juice, and it was absolutely delicious--fresh, sweet, and the perfect complement to breakfast.
