This cafe is without a doubt 10/10. My family and I literally came here every single morning for breakfast because it was that good! The food comes out so fast, the staff were super nice, and it just gives local Puerto Rican vibes. You know it's a great spot when you see people stopping there for food on break or before they're on their way to work. Everythingggg is delicious!
Stopped by here, for a quick brunch when going to the beach. We ordered some empanadas and waffle chicken. It was a good place for a quick bite. The service was fast. I liked the shrimp empanada more than the chicken, had a good flavor. Waffle chicken, the chicken was quite crunchy. The southwest chicken omelette was quite cheesy and good as well. The eggs which came on the side with waffle chicken we ordered scrambled. This seemed a little different. But my parents wanted to wait there, while we went to the beach. They never said anything to have us leave even though we stayed longer and the place kept getting at times but fast moving crowd.
It's a fast food, casual style restaurant. Go to the cash register and order your meal and they give you a buzzer. Unfortunately, the woman who took our order didn't seem very happy to take our order. no eye contact, very cold, no smile and did not even bother to explain anything if we had any questions. But the food on the other hand was tasty and unique...
From walking in, everything was great. I can see why this place comes highly recommended in Isla Verde. We came in on a weekday for brunch / lunch close to the beach. Everything was great, the inside is really big and bright, the counter service is very fast and friendly, and the food is absolutely delicious! 10/10 recommend.
The food was decent. I had the chicken and waffles it was chick strips but it wasn't bad. Regular syrup but they have a tangy hot sauce that was good. You go to the counter to order and then you seat yourself like a McDonald's or something. The ambiance is like a fast food spot so tables are limited but they do have an outside. The menu is not that big but you can find breakfast and lunch.
5's across the board! One of the guests recommended this spot to me and I am so happy they did! The second I entered the breakfast spot, I was greeted with smiles and a warm welcome. After a few questions, I ordered the sausage, egg and cheese sandwich on soft bread with tomato. The clerk asked if I wanted mayo on it and I never had mayo on my breakfast sandwich but I said yes. Glad I did! It brought out all the flavors! They also had a variety of fresh juices. I ended up getting the guava-pineapple. Their patio is nice and spacious and I was able to enjoy the weather. I will be back for that soursop juice!! Check them out!!

Great food, great service, amazing coffee, and breakfast easy to find. I return here every year every visit. I also appreciate that I can still have a nice hot coffee in cool air conditioning. This is a must stop for breakfast or brunch. They are open 7 AM to 3 PM. read more

Enjoyed our stop here between beach activities. Took a while to be served and for our food to come out but we enjoyed our empanada, jugo de guanábana, y breakfast sandwich con pan de mallorca y de ham and cheese. We sat outside and it was shaded and less noisy. read more

The service was good, the ambiance is really relaxed and the food was really good. I had the Mallorca with turkey, cheese and butter & it was great. I would definitely recommend and come back. read more

Exactly what you expect from a local bakery in Puerto Rico. The bread is fresh daily - yum. Note: milk options for coffee are limited to regular milk. Great cafe con leche! read more

Clean, close to the beach, amazing food. They have indoor and outdoor seating which was nice to be able to enjoy the fresh air. The staff were efficient and the service was what one could hope for. read more

Perfect breakfast spot. We had the inlets and they were great. Nice and clean and pretty fast. You place your order at the counter and they give you a pager that goes off when your food is ready. Everything tasted fresh. Would visit again for sure. Prices are fair. read more

This spot was a bit crowded for breakfast and the front staff moved the line pretty quickly. Once you order your name is called over a loudspeaker which was a bit old, so it was hard to hear what was being said. The atmosphere is very simple and there are tables outside as well. I wish I had taken a picture but they have some cool artwork consisting of painted aprons on the walls. To eat, I had the bacon cheeseburger which was OK and filling but the fries were the highlight of the two. I tried their lobster empanada but it was a bit too greasy for my liking. read more
Very crowded for breakfast. Find your own table, wait on li e to order, then wait for your name to be called. Food was okay, service not too special. Came around 2:40 and took out a delicious Cubano. Problem was they close at 3pm, and had already mopped, using a cleanser that really burned my eyes while waiting. I guess they were in a rush to get out. As was I. read more

Charged $20 for this with some bacon - shredded cheese from a bag, no actual avocado "guacamole" that was so processed I couldn't even finish it- if I could give this place zero stars I would read more
Excellent place for breakfast. Nice omelettes. Had a Western Omelette with a little bit of their homemade hot sauce which wasn't that hot so it didn't over power the taste of the omelette. Also had an Americano Coffee that was good and strong. Great service, clean and nice people. read more

A little pricey but the portion make up for it one sandwich can be split amazing customer service this is my third time coming back & if I could go everyday I would you won't be disappointed might have to wait in a long line because they are busy but it's well worth the wait the coffee is amazing read more
Went at around 12pm and this place was packed! The line does move quiet quickly though. There is plenty of seating inside but they weren't doing a good job of cleaning the tables off in my opinion. All the food we had was good. I had the breakfast platter and it was good, but everything needed a heavy handful of seasoning. My boyfriend enjoyed the tacos but thought his empanada was just okay. The latte was quiet terrible and tasted like water, definitely skip grabbing coffee here. read more

My food puns are truly Waffle I should stop Highlights: *Waffles *Fruit Juices *Omelette Variety Review: One of many restaurants along the isla verde street that provides a variety of breakfast and lunch options. The eggs were cooked to whatever style you prefer however, they were bland and missing sazon. The home fries were soft with the right amount of crisp but also lacked seasoning. The bacon was crispy, salty, with the right amount of fattiness and smokiness. The highlight of the day was the waffles, they were buttery, soft, crunchy edges and sweet with the addition of powdered sugar. I would like to go back to try their omelettes and lunch items. Rating: 6/10 Gran Canarias- 3 eggs any style, home fries with pancakes, waffles or French toast. Chose two from ham, bacon and or sausage. read more
While in Puerto Rico I wanted to continue trying as many bakeries/"panaderías" as possible. So Las Canarias appeared on my search results and I swung by an hour before they closed (2pm). It was very clean inside, and fairly empty (possibly because of the time I arrived). The Mallorca sandwich was good. I removed some of the ham slices, I felt it was too much ham to cheese/egg ratio. But the sandwich was overall good. The home fries were cooked to perfection! The bacon cheeseburger was simply a cheeseburger, nothing special about it. It was good. The French fries were fresh! Overall, it was a nice lunch! Not my favorite panadería in PR, but it was good. Everyone should give them a try if they are in Isla Verde in Puerto Rico! read more
Food: Food was -A Crispy Chicken Taco is a must have Waffles are EXCELLENT!! No syrup needed! Coffee was a "meh" Omelets - veggie & Valencina was really good Service: One of the gals was kinda RBF - but bc we didn't have much interaction because you order and pick up your food at the counter. However we took a star off because she did not make us feel welcome. This cafe is very easy going! Saved me while visiting for work and staying in the area it can be hit or miss choosing an option for a meal but the sandwiches and empanadas here are fantastic!! Get the canimpalo sandwich and cubana empanada and you won't regret it. Also pro tip get the juice and ask to mix the guava/pineapple with the passionfruit, it's fire. Staff was very helpful and food comes out quick even when busy! Don't miss out on the pastries and coffee too. Very delicious. read more
Reasonable prices, friendly staff and plenty of seating, close to the beach and hotels. Everything we tried was good except for the breakfast potatoes. We visited a couple of times and the potatoes were consistently cold and unseasoned. Portions for breakfast and lunch are pretty big. The coffees are delicious. read more
