So visiting PR, my girlfriend and I visited this spot that was down the street from where we were staying. After looking at the menu, I ordered the Mac & Cheese burger, added bacon, lettuce, tomato and grilled onions. The burger came with French fries, which were really good. The burger itself left somethings to be desired. It was an overpowering garlic taste on the meat. I tasted the garlic more than anything else. I feel that salt and pepper is the normal and you usually can't mess that up, unless you're heavy handed. I know it can be difficult to match the flavors from customer to customer. Some may think it's over seasoned, under seasoned or just right. I would say salt and pepper only would help keep it normal. I did have another issue with my food, but the owner? manager? took care of it, so it's was fine. The restaurant doesn't have normal or cheap water. It's $2 a bottle. I understand wanting to provide clean and safe water to customers, but $2 each is overkill. A case of 30-40 pack of water is like $4-$6. If you ask for water, they won't tell you there's a charge unless you ask, but you'll see it on your bill. I'm not a fan of restaurants that do this. A heads up would be nice. With how inexpensive it is to get the water, it should actually be free even if within reason. Maybe 2 bottles per person or something if you're that worried about the $4-$6 cost for a whole case lol. The prices for everything is not your typical prices for the normal burger spot or whatever. The cheapest burger combo is like $14 for the 1/2lb and French fries. Lastly, as some others have mentioned, I feel the shots are not accurate. I ordered a double and it looks like it was just a single shot. I've never seen shots this small before and I've visited many bars and establishments. If you're going to order a shot, maybe bring a shot pour cup to make sure it's accurate. Overall, I'm heavily leaning to not returning to this place. If I did return, it would be because my girlfriend wanted to go, not because of me. read more

READ the current reviews of this place. Got the take out and they said "cash only" which seemed highly unusual for 2025. Can't find the place on any of the food delivery apps, which should have been the warning. They were heavy-handed with the salt on the burger, and we typically like a salty burger. Fillie's burgers are double (2x) the recommended amount of salt needed for any kind of beef. Avoid it, seriously. The fries tasted like they were fried in old oil and ironically had barely any salt. Polish sausage is just a hot dog - nothing special but pleasantly not terrible. The chili includes beans, meat of a strange texture, and extremely salty sauce. Wouldn't recommend. The quesadillas were decent - hard to ruin so it is the safest option. read more

Delicious food, so good! They have an amazing green hot sauce/salsa that we bought a bottle of. Also a lot of food for the price, as you should be able to tell by the pictures, the portions are big for regular $12-17 prices. It's a relatively small place with a very casual, lower light bar-type vibe. The service was also great and very friendly, and the cocktails strong. Cheap looking place, really lame food and the cocky owner make this a place to avoid. Unless you enjoy waiting 45 minutes for a burger the never arrived. Serves sliced hot dogs on BBQ and calls them Polish sausage. Did I mentioned all of this at a higher price than the area standard? read more

They let us in although the chef wasn't there yet. We were fine having some cocktails while we waited! The servers were both polite and funny. They kept our whistles wet. The bathroom is upstairs so if that's a problem, don't get drunk and think you can goto the bathroom without a climb. I wonder what handicap-able people do in this town? My husband ended up getting some food. If you order the veggie tacos and are vegan, make sure to say that bc they come with cheese! He ate them and I just kept drinking. What a cute spot. read more

Love this place! Huge burgers loaded with toppings, the small is a half pounder. Perfect french fries with 10 dipping sauces. Cheap beer and a chill patio area. It's easy to walk past it, follow the sign for awesome tacos and burgers. read more

This place is awesome. Great beer (including IPAs!) amazing hot sauce (coconut) and incredible black bean salsa! Our server Nayka was extremely helpful and attentive. Very knowledgeable about the city and great things to do. Definitely would come back and eat here after shopping at Nude. read more

If you don't mind being in the tourist area and very little parking you can get a decent burger here. The wings are also a good choice. I need to try the rest of the menu in order to get a better sampling of the food. Would recommend that you give it a try if burgers and wings are your craving. read more

Came here for Super Bowl Sunday since it was the only bar styled restaurant that had TV's to watch close enough to where we were staying. We sat outside where the TV is with several others, but no one else was eating, only drinking. The four of us sat down and they got our drink order relatively quick. Took about 15 minutes to get four water bottles, in which they didn't mention it wasn't cups of glass water, they were bottles and $2 each. In hindsight it would've been nice to know we were getting $2 water bottles and not refillable glasses. Over 20 minutes go by and no one has checked on us to get our food order. We tried to stop multiple servers but we kept getting ignored. Finally someone came outside and took our order. It took 50 minutes to make and bring us a mac-and-cheese burger and a bun-less burger. Only two orders were brought out at that time. Close to 20 minutes go by and I ask our server when/if our other orders might be ready, and she tells me "hopefully soon." Minutes later and our other two orders are brought out-- nachos and a quesadilla. My nachos were completely cold. I was starving at this point so I just ate them. The first two orders were eaten by the time the other two were brought out. There was no communication between the kitchen/servers to us. I had to get up twice to check up on everything and another time to tell our server my food was cold. I told her I was starving so I'm going to eat it because I can't wait another 60+ minutes for nachos. She said "sorry" and offered no reconciliation. I even looked inside the restaurant and there was one other table eating food. But by god, they were ON TOP of bringing everyone else's alcohol orders. Once we got the check, there was absolutely no discount for our extremely long wait or cold food. We paid and left immediately and rather watched the game on our phones at the beach because we wanted out of there immediately. Never coming here and will never recommend it to anyone. Edit: Forgot to add that we ordered mozzarella sticks as an appetizer but didn't get them until the first round of food was brought. 50 minutes after they were ordered. Hi so I never write reviews, but I felt so inclined when we chose this instead of another place for our last dinner. Service was slow and food was overpriced and underwhelming. Only 2 tacos for 9$. If you feel the need to come, buy a burger, those were the most bang for their buck. The food was fine but not worth the price. read more

Fillie's has nice outdoor area that yoi could sit in, just remember to bring the bug spray. I only come here for a few happy hours since they had oceanlab on tap. Craft beee runs about $5 each and they have 2 for 1 deals on local beers. Their wings are actually really good. Its deep-fried and season very well. They're just a little pricey at $1/wing. the rest of the menu is typical bar food so it leaves more to be desired. THey have high chairs for kids, and the outdoor seating is really nice unless the kids move around while you can still keep an eye on them. read more

I stumbled upon Fillies the first night in San Juan. It's an incredible place little, off the main boardwalk, and small. But the food is incredible. We ended up having dinner here almost every night and it was consistently amazing. They have this pique de coco sauce that is incredible. If you're in the area. Fillie's is a must. read more

Great place to go for a good burger, wings, or hot dog! Drinks were good too if you like them on the stronger side (and I do). Inside and outside seating. This is probably my favorite burger place in San Juan. Me and my brother came in a little late (about 20 mins before closing) and ordered for our family (of 5 including my brother and I). The server was so nice and took the time to go over our order. The service? Amazing. Now about the food??? Even better. I think we ordered everything on the menu. If you want chicken wings, this is the place to come if you are in Condado. I've been here a few times now, and although consistency in flavor changes each visit despite ordering the same wings, they always taste good. Looses a star because the tables are so wobbly it's like eating on the titanic, and having to ask for an empty bowl for the bones each visit is annoying. Good food & walking distance to the hotel I was staying in. The mozzarella sticks were sooo good. I also got the sliders and my bf got the chicken sandwich. He wasn't too thrilled with his food, but my sliders were decent. Drinks were cheap so that was a plus. read more

It's okay food. Wings are pretty salty but okay. I went in and ordered forty wings and some cheese fries which were good. When I left they had only given me 10 wings. And then I came back to get the other 30 and I left with 20 more wings. So in the end I left with just 30 wings and my fries. So I paid for 10 wings I didn't get and I tipped them a good amount lol. so very MEH! my sister and i were so excited to find this spot on a walk after being on the beach all day. they had a great sauce selection and the menu seemed so good. all the food was flavorless and mediocre. ordered the dog with pork on it, loaded fries, and wings. pork and dog were bland. truly a bother of mine, and i asked before ordering, if the loaded fries had cheese or cheese sauce. was told, "oh it's real cheese". it had cheese SAUCE. felt like i was in my middle schools cafeteria. wings were covered in sauce and had clearly not been seasoned prior to fry. ok onto the drinks, after having experienced amazing drinks while on this holiday. we thought, of course let's try some concoctions here. bartender ended up looking at a recipe book for the supposed house cocktail. was like i was in chili's or tgi fridays back continental. all of this was after we were forced to go inside from what was a great table outside when the kids outside the barber shop and other people (think friends of servers) showed up and started smoking. we left most of the food on the tray, paid, and went to a cute spot down the street for a proper meal. basically, i want my calories and time back. read more
